I was very happy with Appliance Service Co. I was in a pinch and needed a service call at a clients home and they were able to fit me in, even though everyone is so busy these days. The technician arrived within the expected time frame and contacted me as soon as he was able to inspect and repair a dryer for us. Thanks again!

They said I needed a costly repair-$400-I hired them to do it. They used a torch on the basket and burned my carpet-they destroyed the basket because it warped from the torch-they didnt tell me they couldnt fix it-they rushed out and said they would call . They called a week later saying it was broken because it was old. They left my washer torn apart-pieces and parts everywhere-I knew they wouldnt come back the way they left a huge mess of pieces and parts. They also borrowed my vice grips--and left with them. They Burned my carpet, destroyed my washer, took my tool and now I have to go to a laundromat. See pictures.

They never returned any of my phone calls, I had to make three trips from Rocky point to their business. I felt very uncomfortable this went on for three going on 3 weeks. I called the Wilmington Police department to see how can I pick up my window unit air condition. Which I paid $42.80 the charge to drop it off. Every single time I called the line was busy. I was on pins and needles the whole time. I couldnt find anything wrong with it. But they wouldnt let me come by to pick it up. And I had to constantly make tripsAnd finally consulted the Wilmington Police department. I was told to write them a letterSo I had a bad experience. I dont want another one like that

When you have Samsung appliances, you need Samsung techs, and they have that! The office staff members are always pleasant and helpful. The techs travel a good 25+ miles to work on my stuff! I appreciate their willingness to do that, since local service on Samsung products is sparse. Would highly recommend.

This company repaired a high end 6 year old microwave. They did EVERYTHING they said they would do. They are very nice, professional, competent, reliable people who didn’t over-promise, repaired the unit in a very timely manner, and charge a fair price. Not easy to find someone in Eastern NC to look at a microwave. This was an excellent example of how customers should be treated....an unexpected extra-ordinary customer experience.

Fabulous! I brought my drawer microwave up from Myrtle Beach as they were the only group in a 100 mile radius that could do the warranty work. Each step from making the appointment to the follow up was very professional and timely. I was initially pretty bummed out to have to drive so far. But the service was excellent and worth the trip. The service was excellent. Ive been a homeowner for 25 years and this was one of the best!

I am so pleased with this company, the staff, and their excellent customer service! I called around 430p and the office rep was so friendly, made me feel important, and that our need to get our fridge repaired was urgent. She worked me into the schedule the very next day and I called very late in the day! Great service. Chad, our technician, called before arriving, was so very professional, friendly, and detailed, he even took care of taking off the old manufacturer stickers that were never removed upon installation over a year and a half ago on our Samsung fridge. Chad is an asset to this company! Best service and super personality! The Appliance Service Company repair technician, Roger, is the fourth technician that has worked on our gas range since we moved into our new home. The gas range has never operated as it should and the previous repair technicians have not been able to troubleshoot the problem. Roger quickly determined that the problem was that the gas valve was not opened enough to allow sufficient gas flow to the burners and oven. He opened the valve and readjusted all of the burners to ensure that they would not be blown out by the exhaust fan.Roger should be recognized by the Appliance Service Company as a valued employee based on his knowledge of gas appliances and his troubleshooting skills!Thanks also to Appliance Service Company for setting a quick appointment for us that most probably prevented a follow up call to the builder with a complaint about the use of a cheap, badly designed gas range!

Called on Wednesday afternoon reported my problem. Call on Thursday and received a time to expect technician. He came on Thursday and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part.Technician called back on Friday morning and had the part and gave us a time that he could be here Friday afternoon. Repaired Friday afternoon and we were using our washer Friday night.Great service and knowledgeable technician.Have used Appliance Service Co. before and have always gotten great service. Would recommend!

They completed warranty work for our Samsung Refrigerater/freezer, when other companies did not want to do the work due to the COVID-19 virus. We had the issue with the ice maker freezing up and Roger came out (wearing a mask) assessed the problem and was back in a couple days to replace all the parts that Samsung has provide to correct the known issue. I would call them again for any appliance issues.

I scheduled an appointment for a technician to come look at our washing machine. I was given a time frame of 9am-1pm, but was told I could call the morning of our appointment and they could narrow it down to a 2 hour window. I called this morning, I was given a time frame of 11am-1pm, and Chad called me just before 12 to let me know he was on his way. He was able to make the repair while at the house, and I am thrilled to pieces that we dont have to replace our 10 year old washing machine right here at Christmas! I have already recommended your company to half of my office!

I was amazed at the level of service I received on my refrigerator.It all started when we woke this morning to the food in the freezer starting to thaw out and when we called in to see if there was any possibility of getting anyone out, one of the techs were going to be able to work us in the afternoon.Later that morning I got a call much to my surprise from Kevin saying he could head over if that was alright.Within five minutes of him walking into the house and outing his ear to the refrigerator he knew the fan was not running.I swear he was like the appliance whisperer.He found that the harness had just came unplugged and was able to fix the problem in twenty minutes.If you need service you better call this company

First off I just want to say it was it was an absolute dream to deal with this company.I called in with a problem on my washer and talked to a woman in the office and described my problem on my washer and she asked if I could provide my model number and brand and she would be sure to look up a couple of parts to make sure the technician would have when he arrived.Sure enough when he came out there it was a bad lid switch and she had already had it on the paperwork.So he was able to fix it quickly,professionally,and and clean up behind himself.All around one of the best experiences I have had from a service company in my lifetime.

Friendly service. But disappointed in labor cost. Was charged .75 hrs. in labor @ $80/hr. to pop out a 7 melted/damaged plastic disc on inside top of my microwave and pop in a new $18 part that took me, no kidding, 2 min. combined time to pop out and back in myself once I got it home.

My husband Wasted an entire day waiting for service repair guy who I was told would be there after 1pm but couldnt give exact time. I missed a call at 2:47pm because I was working and tried to call back at 3:37pm without success of reaching Rusty the repairman. After texts and calls with no response I called the shop who also had to call me back several minutes later only to tell me that they needed to reschedule me. So now another day off work to sit and wait for an unknown appt time again No Thank You. This was the poorest example of customer service and I would not recommend this company to service anything.

First attempt by Samsung to schedule an appt went sideways because someone from ASC said they tried to call me twice and since I didnt answer I was cancelled. So when I called after not hearing from anyone and found out I was cancelled I tried to set an appt over the phone with them and was told sorry I ahd to call and start all over with Samsung. Samsung rep called and also asked for them to pull the ticket and simply resked so they didnt have to redo all the paperwork...that wasnt allowed either....so I redid all the paperwork and resked an appt. I called in to ASC to make sure no issues would happen again...i was told between 1-4pm....so day of the repair I waited until 1pm and called in to verify this wasnt lost and had to leave a message - since no one called me to confirm as I was told they would....when no one returned my call for an hour I called back in again....and was met on the phone by someone who said they were the owner and she was nothing short of rude and talked over me at every opportunity. Then threatened to cancel on me due to my concerns above...and someone will be by between 4-6pm. Sure would had been nice to know so I didnt have to take off a half day of work....but that was my fault since I didnt know their protocols of me having to call them at 0800 on day of service call to know they could then tell me what time the tech would show. I dislike rude people...and if she was the owner...I would be very surprised.

(The following is from her husband, Tom.) Out of the blue, the controls of our Whirlpool Duet dryer stopped functioning. We called Appliance Service and after leading their repairman into the laundry room, I inadvertently hit the Control On button and the control panel lit up for the first time since the problem began. His service report said that one of the 120 legs was missing and that he flipped breaking and this resolved issue. Only it didnt. For the next week or two, the dryer controls would come on by themselves for a few days and dry as designed. One time, after they switched off again, I closed the door slightly more firmly than usual and the controls came back on. But then after a day or three or more, they would go dark again. Finally, we called in an electrician who gauged the outlet and said it measured as it was supposed to: 120/120. The same for the breaker box. He said power wasnt the problem; he surmised it might be the dryers computer or the door switch causing a short. Since the controls seemed to come to life at least every 3-5 days, we were hoping that the machine was somehow attempting to fix itself. But it wasnt. So we called Appliance Service and asked for another repair visit. Despite expressing doubts about the electricians veracity, the woman I was talking to (the owner?) agreed, said she could extend the warranty from 30- to 60-days, but, if in his opinion, their repairman felt that the lack of power was at fault here, we would be subject to another service charge. Just to make sure the electrician was in fact accurate and the power still operating correctly, we called him back and, even tho he again registered 240, had him replace the outlet and the breaker box. But nothing changed. The dryer would go back to coming on by itself, then go blank for days at a time. Just a few days before the now 60-day warranty was up, I called Appliance Service to make that second appointment. I told the rep I talked to that the dryer had just come off an on period and was presently in its off mode, but that since the scheduled time she gave me was a full week away, that it would make sense to cancel just before that scheduled time if it again began working since determining what was wrong with an operating machine would seem to defeat the purpose of the visit. She concurred. Late the day after next, the dryers controls became operational and stayed on longer than ever before - 10 straight days (on the streaks 6th day, a Monday, I called early to cancel that days afternoon appointment. I hung up with what I thought was clearly an understanding that I would call back to reschedule an appointment when the controls stopped working). The 11th day, the Saturday before Labor Day, the controls finally went off, only to come back on, go off, then come back on again on Sunday, then off finally the afternoon of Labor Day, where they still are as I input this. I called today to set up a new appointment and talked with the same rep I set up the cancelled time with. It was almost as if I was calling for the first time. She said the 60-day warranty had expired, seeming to forget that she had agreed that sending out a repairman while the dryer was humming along was most likely a waste of time. She said she couldnt make a new appointment without permission from the woman who extended the warranty, and said she would have her call me when she came in later in the day. When she did call it seemed obvious that the rep had not briefed her on our previous conversation on why I had sensibly cancelled the appointment. In a less than friendly tone, she said their so-called corporate policy prevented her from going beyond 60 days - she needs to clarify that policy with everyone since the cancelled appointment date was scheduled beyond 60-days. Appliance Service Co. has lost a future customer, who just might have used them to make the dryers repairs. Also, not happy about needlessly spending $150 on an electrician.

My mother had another servicer out named Island Appliance Repair to fix her washer, when after several attempts to do so we called them back where the owner proceeded to yell at us and tell us if we would go in the other room and watch tv and quit paying so close attention to the washer, maybe we wouldnt notice it being so noisy.Im sorry but this inexcusable.We called Whilrlpool back since this was under warranty and they sent Appliance Service Company out where a nice young man name Paul came to look at the washer.He was able to determine the the previous repair shop didnt even put the machine back together properly.Paul ordered the right parts and fixed my moms washer.I have highly recommended Appliance Service Company to all my friends!!!!!!!

Excellent service. We have a piece of crap Samsung refrigerator, that has been looked at 3 times by another servicer that said they had fixed the issue and didnt, but it quit cooling on the refrigerator side and even though appliance service was booking almost a week out Marisa in the office was able to get Kevin to work us in that day to find out all we had was a frozen drain that Samsung has had a service kit for a while.Boom fixed first time, priced reasonable, and I found a servicer for life on everything I own.Hats off to you and your outstanding work my friends😃👍
