Stacy Cook is a crook! There have been so many problems dealing with this man I dont even know where to start. So, I have him tow my car in February, 2021 and he simply needs to change a starter. He ends up keeping my car for 12 days! He says he is going to put in a new starter and charged me $440 for it. I dont find out that he put in an old starter until another mechanic told me so. When I confront Stacy about this he said he also put in a battery, as well, and that is why he charged me $440. I come to find out that is not true, either! Lastly, when someone in his company hooked my car for a tow they severely bent the rear stabilizer link! Stacy never took any responsibility for his deceit and the incompetence of his company. He would not listen to me regarding these issues. He offered a partial refund but when I refused he offered me even less of a refund and told me I only had one hour to accept it! I ultimately told him I was going to complain to AAA, which I did. Do not use this company for tows and definitely do not use this company to fix your car!*Please know I have listed Stacys cell phone number in a text screenshot but only because that is the same number listed on Google for SOS Towing. I have also listed pictures of the old starter, the bent rear stabilizer link, and before/after battery pictures.

I called several times, provided plenty of information days ahead of time, was all set and scheduled. On the morning of the scheduled tow his phone was turned off, unable to leave a message all day, did not respond to texts, he was a no call no show. I had to call another towing company and it put me back about 5 hours as a result. Would not recommend.

When we first started working with SOS, the service was phenomenal. He was willing to go above and beyond and help us out. Which he did. He replaced all my tires. We were told we were getting $1300 tires for a discount because he had several sets on his property. A quick google search confirmed that was not true.3 studs/lug nuts on my driver front tire were stripped additionally my car was not balanced properly. It was explained up front that the wheels put onto my car were not the correct ones for my car and it was not a permanent fix. I had to take my car to the shop 3 days after getting my car back to attempt to fix the issue of the stripped studs. They recommended that we attempt to get our wheels back from SOS and they would put them back on my car.Now $800 later, we are told by SOS that he “gave us the tires we have now” and will have to buy my stock wheels back from him. He has been quite rude to my husband, going as far as telling him that we have been a “waste of his time, patience, & fuel” all because we would like our wheels back.As it stands, we have already spent $800 between him and the tire shop & we are estimated to spend an ADDITIONAL $400-800 to fix this issue.

Stacie was quick to answer the phone and dropped everything to help my wife and I on a very hot day in Epping when our car broke down. I have AAA and SOS was faster than them! I hope he keeps up the good and caring work.Brian M

The service man arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The spare donut tire was low and he didnt have any way to put air in it. I gave the service man a good tip. Google said I was 5 miles from his business but it actually was about 15 miles. The service man told the owner it was 20 miles each way so he billed me for the additional mileage. I would have originally given the business 5 stars but the overage on the mileage and the inability to get a receipt that I can turn into my insurance company reduces it to 4 stars. Finally did get my receipt.

!!!WARNING!!!I cant write a review poor enough to express my disgust with this company. I hope the next person who considers using their service reads the reviews closely and knows the negative ones are all 100% accurate. When I first called and talked with Stacy he was very kind and explained he would tow my truck and he also had a shop so he could also do thr necessary work on my vehicle. His towing price with a 30 minute assessment is $125 which seemed reasonable. He told me to leave my keys in the gas cap and he would be there shortly to get the vehicle and would call me later that day with an update, this was at 10am. At 3pm I had not heard anything so I called and he then told me that he was just getting to my vehicle. This was fine and well I understand that small businesses can get swamped and take more time. At 8pm I still had heard nothing. When I got a hold of him he told me what was wrong with my vehicle and that he had ordered the part for it. I asked if he would have it done the next day and he said he wouldnt be able to, that he was so far behind that it would be a few days before he could get to it. I simply said if he wasnt able to get my vehicle done by Wednesday, 3 days after towing it, that I would look for a shop that could get me in sooner. I wasnt trying to be rude but I only have the one vehicle and live 30 miles out of town. I also expressed some concern since I had read some of the Google reviews and it made me skeptical with going with his company. He got defensive and felt the need to try and explain his way out of them. He made an alarming comment about these people writing bad reviews were customers unwilling to hand over the titles to their vehicles for repair work. I may be unfamiliar with this practice but the many times Ive had to take vehicles in for work Ive never been asked to hand over my title, nor would I feel comfortable doing this. He did finish my truck Tuesday night. Since his shop is in Epping, which he failed to mention until after I paid for him to tow it, he said he typically brings the vehicles back into town. A kind gesture, I guess. Instead of bringing it to me he took it to his apartment and told me he would leave the keys in the gas cap again. I paid for the service and went to get my vehicle a little while later. When I got there my keys were nowhere to be found. I tried contacting him but everytime I called it went straight to voicemail. After about an hour of attempting to get ahold of him I had to contact the police. When the cops arrived they told me that this happened more often than Id believe! Upon further inspection of my truck, there are several new scratches and dents on my vehicle including a huge scratch that looks like someone rubbed sandpaper across the hood. He had to take the bed of my truck off to replace the fuel pump and there are multiple scratches and dents on it. the whole bed is bowed up in the middle now as well. My steering wheel also feels as if he rubbed sandpaper all around it. my passenger seat had been moved all the way back and smashed some boxes I had in the backseat which makes me believe he had someone else in my vehicle. He also left a phone charger plugged in,, seems a little unprofessional to be using my vehicle to charge your phone. On top of acting a little sketchy and being unwilling to give my keys back his prices are outrageous! Do not use his service! I cant express enough how serious I am that this was literally the worst experience Ive ever had with a shop!

DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!!He told me and I quote I would send my own daughter to California in that Tahoe (1999 Chevy Tahoe) after we gave him 2 vehicles for trade in value. We broke down halfway to California and were told our Transmission was missing more than half the bolts and all of our wiring was faulty. So far it has been 3 grand in repairs. On top of that he tried to bounce a 1,500$ check on us thinking we wouldnt notice?!? Then had the audacity to ask us if wed take a different check ?!? He got 2 vehicles (2005 Nissan Armada& 2003 King Ranch F150) he can fix for a fraction of what they will sell for.. and left my pregnant wife and I currently stranded in Nevada. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!

He showed up within 10 minutes of me calling. Quick and got the job done. Will definitely call him again if i need while im in the area.

Started out to be a good experience they were quick didn’t do extras price seemed reasonable but while my car was being repaired one of his employees assumed that it was a car they purchased and cleaned everything i had in the car out. personal affects amounting maybe 100.00 everything in my trunk also threw away my registration card. stacy said he would make it right and they found the card but he has made no effort to get it to me or reimburse me for his employees mistake. i even texted him if nothing else can you mail me my registration. however he has stopped responding to me

Locked myself out in the middle of the night and called other places with no answer. SOS answered on the first call got here quickly and got it done. Was a little more expensive, but for the quick professional and friendly service I dont mind at all!

They really helped me when I had to get to work and locked my keys in the car 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ So glad they came quick and helped me. Would use them again.
