I had a great experience here. I didnt have an appointment, but they were able to seat me right away. Sun cut my hair and she did an amazing job. She was very detail oriented and took her time. The best part was the neck shave and hot towel at the end. I will be coming back.

Im particular about my hair, but I really needed a cut, as we are on an extended road trip. An acquaintance told me her neighbor goes to Tru Cuts and always looks great, so I drove right there. Within 15 minutes, I was seated in Kays chair and she gave me a terrific cut! I had no idea this was a barber shop, not a salon, and it was only 20 bucks!! Dont hesitate, just go get your hair cut!

Our whole family have gotten some of our best cuts here. Tru Cuts is reasonably priced and a great value for most budgets. You can sense an attention to detail on each and every customer that is hard to find elsewhere. I leave feeling like more than a number, rather they want me to look and feel my best.

Without a question the worst haircut of my life. So bad I am debating on shaving my head. Its uneven and just awful. I look like Im wearing a cab driver hat crooked on my head but its hair. I will never step foot near this place ever again. If I could send post pictures, you would laugh. Or cry. Would not recommend. Avoid.

Asked for a low skin fade, and the stylist I was initially with sent me to a more experienced colleague so that Id be happy with the result. And I totally am--would have happily paid more for thisexcellent cut.

Cant say how the hair cut would be because even after setting an appointment after 40min of waiting and newer people getting seated I left. Just know if you did set an appointment do come early and maybe you will get in unlike me. They are nice people but in my case I was upset because I had things to an 90 min after appointment.

Very popular place, so I recommend an appointment, but even when I popped in last minute, I had minimal wait for a great haircut...very clean, professional, and friendly. I have been back many times and never once was disappointed.

Set an appt with a provider you know is good, and stick with them. Being a walk in is a gamble, normally great haircuts at a fair price, today was disapppointed by the quality. Setting appts from now on.

I found this place by accident and I am so glad I did! My 8 yo would rather walk on hot coals than get his hair cut. The experience exceeded expectations. The ladies were friendly and engaging from the minute we walked in. Su was fantastic. She was quick and efficient with no whining from the kiddo.Update: After the wonderful experience with the 8 yo, I decided to take a gamble with my 3 yo. He is such a rascal in the barbers chair that I hadnt had his hair cut in over a year. These ladies must have some sort of hair cutting voodoo magic! My son sat still as a stone and didnt jump from the clippers or try to grab the scissors in self defense. Bravo, ladies! 2 for 2!

Nicely-run hair cut place. Barbers / hairstylists are all female; many, if not all (? I dont know..) are from Korea. Great customer service, and the finishing hot towel neck & head massage is probably my favorite thing.

Brought my 20 month old son there because my husband has been going there for a long time and loves it! My son didnt make it easy but she did an AMAZING job and was so patient!

After moving down to this area I could not find a barber that cut my hair to my liking. I would constantly drive back to my old stomping grounds ( 2 hours north ) to have them cut it. Low & behold I was given a tip to try True Cuts, I called Young and she took me right in, the rest is history. I will not let anyone cut my hair except Young. She remembers my liking each time and does an awesome cut. Trust me, you won’t go wrong by going there....

Great haircut, service, and almost everything. But they use dirty equipment. The scissors still had somebody else’s hair on them, even the razor wasn’t clean or sanitized. I just can’t go back there.

Wonderful shop and reasonable prices. Well-staffed and the woman who cut my hair was thorough and made sure it was the way I liked it. She even trimmed those trouble areas common to older men!

They know how to cut hair here. Theyre very nice, welcoming, and always know what you want. They also adapt with change in hair styles. I should know because theyve been cutting my hair close to a decade now and Ive changed about 4 or 5 hair stlyes in that time period. I must also mention the interior is amazing, it really stands out than other barbershops with its modern and home feeling look. In short its a great place to get a haircut.

Possibly the best haircut of my life! The prices are very reasonable, and the stylists are very professional. Yet it has a vintage sort of edge with the hot lather and straight razor shave for your neck and hot towel. Its close enough to William and Mary to make it the best barber for students on campus! I highly recommend this place.

Took my dad on a Tuesday morning. Busy but no wait, they did a nice job including shaving neck and sideburn area. Finished with warm most towel. Cut was $15 +tip. My dad was smiling and very pleased after the cut. We will be back.

This is the only barber my husband and teenage son will go to! They both get great haircuts (hubby gets a military high/tight, son gets something more trendy) at a fair price, and it doesnt matter which of the ladies in the shop they use. BTW, Ive also seen them cutting, coloring, and styling womens hair--and not just blunt cuts! Definitely recommend :-)

My son got a really bad haircut elsewhere. You wouldnt think a basic boys haircut could look that bad. I took him to Tru Cuts to see if they could fix it. The lady there spent 45 minutes getting his hair evened up. It looked FANTASTIC when she was done. We will definitely be going back!
