Went in for a undercut and the front barber was busy. He asked another barber who wasnt busy to assist me and this particular barber gave him a blank stare and couldnt be bothered to assist me. In town for a weekend away and needed a haircut. Asked if i had an appointment but took me as a walk in right away. Left International Styles completely impressed. This is a next level of haircut Ive never experienced. Christian was my stylist and killed it. The rate was extremely affordable but i would have paid more easily for the talent that this business provides. Best haircut ive ever had.

Ive been to high end professional places in Richmond, VA for a haircut that would average $60. I was skeptical. These guys did a better job quicker and with more precision than any of those places for much cheaper. Go here.

Excellent barber shop. I have my go to barber at this place, but Ive been here often enough to see the quality the entire staff puts out. Some of the best I have seen (NY, SD, ATL, DC) these guys could hang in any major metropolitan area. Great location, priced right, and clean. Ive never seen any of the barbers rush a cut, or turn someone away. That said, youll want an appointment, these guys are good and everyone knows it...itll be a minute if you walk in.

I highly recommend International Styles. I came in and told Rene Rodriguez exactly what I wanted as I am trying to grow my hair and beard out longer but needed the ends cut and a little styling -- he made a couple suggestions and the result was absolutely spot-on!!

Ive been coming here for over a year now and they have yet to give me a bad hair cut. Although theyve taken me as a walk-in before, I suggest you give them time ahead and schedule. I have taken my 10 year old sons to Supercuts, great clips, sport clips and NEVER been happy with their cuts anywhere. A friend told me about this place so I called and made appointments. Josias got us back right on time, was super nice and took his time making their cuts just right. He also helped me decide on a style for one of them I needed advice on. I LOVE their hair & definitely will be going back!

Danni is the best around. This place is busy and so is Danni, so make an appointment and dont be mad if you cant get it the same day, this place is no sports clips. He takes his time and cares about the craft. Overall, the physical location is very well kept and I always have great experiences when I go.

I have been looking for a good barber in a long time and I found one. Danni did an outstanding job, good fade, lining and style. Even my beard, he did a great job. Took about 45 minutes to do the style and beard. Good customer service and excellent client-barber communication in regards to inquiring about my profession in order to make cut suggestions/styles. I scheduled an appointment but I saw walk-in were welcome-depending on availability.

Best hair cut and beard trim/ shape up ever. Ask for not Rene. He is patient and an expert. Im not a local to Williamsburg. Im staying with family for several weeks and needed to find a place that I know can do both. Great Clips and Sport Clips and places like that.....sure you know you may get a somewhat good cut but never a beard trim and shape. You may need to call ahead to make an appointment. When I tried to do a walk in on a Wednesday I ended up making an appointment because they were busy and I didnt want to pass on this opportunity.

I just called this place to schedule a same day appointment and whoever answered was giving me attitude as the times he rattled off didn’t work for me. Whoever I was speaking with became extremely flustered and annoyed and when I said “I’ll call you back” he gave more attitude and hung up before I finished my sentence. I Can’t speak to their services and I truly don’t care how good or bad they are. What I care about is the customer service that was given 10 seconds into our call. If I could give a 0 star, I would. Obviously he doesn’t need my business and I hope he doesn’t need anyone’s reading this. Will look elsewhere.My review has nothing to do with you being a busy barbershop. It has everything to do with your attitude. I never stated in my review that “you couldn’t Take me right away”. I gave you a one star for nothing more than your terrible customer service skills. Trash !!! Complete garbage haircut and garbage service ... I’m new to the area originally from New York .. I’m extremely picky with my haircut and skeptical about finding a new barber i scheduled my appointment and came in to rene.. i don’t know where this guy learned to barber but he messed my haircut up ... i showed him a picture of exactly what i wanted and it came out looking like nothing i asked for .. he created a whole new line around my temple. It didn’t even look faded just hard lines in my scalp ... when i expressed i wasn’t happy he told me he couldn’t do anything about it. I’m aware you can’t put hair back on my head but comp me on something or a reduced rate .. deff not worth 25 dollars they use the interior of the place as a “professional looking” spot so they can overcharge on a haircut i could’ve gotten at a Supercuts ... if you don’t care about your haircut and wanna Pay a high price go here .. but if you value your haircut find somewhere else.

Best barbers in Williamsburg. Point. Blank. Period. I see some of the reviews complaining about the appointment policy and you must understand that they are high demand barbers known all over the region for their work so it is best to call ahead and set up an appointment. They welcome walk ins of course but appointments take priority which should be expected. Rene is my go to guy and I see him about every 2 weeks for a fresh low fade. Most barbers will try to rush to get finished but not Rene, once hes done trimming your hair down to the requested length he finishes your haircut with a razor blade edge up. The result is one of the best shape ups you could get. Stop supporting the supercuts and sportsclips, help these guys expand their brand.

Is been five years since I start visiting this barber shop for my haircuts and all I can say is they are the best barbers in this area, no doubt. Excellent environment and very professional treatment to customers, they all know what theyre doing. I always get my haircuts with René since the beginning and always happy with his job, He is always very flexible with the appoinments since I like to be the first customer of the day. I would definely recommend this place since they all know how to satisfy the customers with the haircuts, I wouldnt mind to get a haircut with any of them.

If I could, Id give this place an absolute ZERO!!!When I came, I wasnt expecting for this guy to do EXACTLY what I told him not to do. I told him to just cut the sides, he then cut the sides, BACK, AND FRONT! I no longer have my bangs because of the idiot who cut me. Now, I have freakin BULL CUT, the worst hair style ever. Rene and Danny are the best barbers in Williamsburg. I have been coming to International Styles for about a year now. These barbers truly know their craft. They have great attention to detail and customer service. I leave the barbershop feeling great and confident every time. Danny (the head barber) has a youtube channel (DannyStylez) with a pretty big following if you want to see what he is capable of.They provide this excellent service at a very reasonable price point. If youre in the Williamsburg area and need a great haircut (especially a skin-fade or shape-up), definitely come here. These guys are the best.

I moved to Williamsburg 6 months ago and I needed to find a good Baber. Not as basic as a Supercuts and not as fancy as a mens hair salon. International Styles seemed to be that happy medium. I found out about this place through my roommate who had a VERY good hard-part haircut with a nice fade.One thing you must know is that there isnt really a dedicated receptionist. If you do a walk-in, you will get a random person. I did that and got my haircut from who I believe was Dannis wife. With the vague description of what I wanted (natural part and taper on sides) she ended up doing a decent job on my haircut. I liked that she verified with Danni about what number fade I was looking for before she decided to cut my hair. It wasnt perfect though since she left more hair on the crown of my head than I wanted. She was nice and gave me a free eye brow shave and finished off the rest of my sideburns and neck with a clean shave.For my second haircut I got it cut by Danni, which was a bit difficult to find his contact. I couldnt find it online so I had to DM him personally through IG and he gave me his personal number to set up the appointment. I could tell right away than Danni was very good at his job-- just from combing through my hair he could feel what the previous barber had done. I asked pretty much for the same haircut, natural part and tapered sides, with a bit of a closer fade on the side than last time and he did a fantastic job on it. He made sure to ask me multiple times throughout my haircut whether or not I liked how it looked which I really liked. I didnt get a free eyebrow shave this time, but I got a finishing shave for my neck and sides, which I believe is their standard. Very worth the price-- I paid $20 for my haircut.All in all, you can get a super quality haircut without having to break your wallet with all the fancy and unimportant stuff you pay for (receptionist, beverages, shampooing) at normal salons. Based on my experience, this is both the friendliest and the most skilled barbershop in Williamsburg. Ive tried many and I still recommend this one to all of my friends at William and Mary.The barbers always greet you with a smile and Ive left satisfied with my cut every time. Yes, almost all the staff is Latino but Ive always felt welcomed (Im not Latino). They communicate in English.Check out some of the barbers instagrams if you want to see their work. Ive been going here for 6 months, I found Danni on instagram and schedualed an appointment from there. They always have openings and can cut hair however requested. They are way better than the typical franchise barber shops (supercuts, hair cuttery, great clips, etc.) And they also recommend hair product and teach you how to style hair10/10 recommend

Absolutely terrible, my haircut almost felt like a hoax. avoid at all costs. my haircut was rushed and more time was spend taking pictures of me and trying to hype me up to thinking it was a good haircut. the lady across from me was also concerned about her haircut . when my cut was finished, it was uneven. when i told the barber he replied to me that its just how my hair grows. i wish i could give this place zero stars
