Very happy they did a great job on my manicure and pedicure! Will definitely be going back!It is by appointment only which is great so you dont get stuck waiting. All the staff was amazing and friendly! Didnt feel rushed which is another bonus!

Always is, was, forever will be my favorite nail salon bc cleanest salon live ever been in! Professional, organized, many colors/styles to choose fro, plus full services( waxing etc excellent & private care. Always welcoming, remembers you & a smile as son as you walk in. Best of all no matter what your mood, they sense it & act according to whether or not you wish to talk or hunker down w/ cell &No weird looking to boot! Enjoy, I do every time I’m in the area for the past 8 yrs! 🏆😁

Vicky did my gel manicure she was so pleasant we had a great conversation. The nails were amazing! Best of all they followed every cdc guideline! Which made me feel safe! They did not let me down! My nails came out so beautiful they followed my instructions exactly how I wanted my nails and I couldnt be happier! Plus, for those of the women who are wary about trying new salons this is one place you do not have to worry about. Great job on nails but rude. Talk about you if u have gift certificates.Not sure if they realize they did get money for the gift certificates and please speak english...it is rude to speak in mlmVietnamese when all your customers speak English and you know English

At the suggestion of my sister’s wedding planner we came to this nail salon. They were curt and rude about helping (my sister) the bride choose a color for her nails. Even after mentioning it was for her wedding they were less than helpful or welcoming. To what they said they’ve been “burned” by helping to choose colors... Hope this review burns them more. I grew up in this town. It’s not the way business is or should be done anywhere. I wouldn’t suggest going there. Plenty of other salons to give your money to.

This is the best nail salon in the area! They are gentle, quick, and reasonably priced. I get a gel manicure every two weeks and couldnt imagine going anywhere else anymore.

My favorite nail salon in Nepa, theyre all so friendly and caring. The place is always clean and service is fast. One of the only nail salons Ive been to where they actually get to know and learn about you. Love it here!!

My sister and nieces wanted to get their nails done. My normal place was closed due to damage so took them here. They had awful customer service.Not inviting at all. From the moment we arrived they looked irritated we even walked in their doors. Only one person doing acrylics so their nails were done one at a time. We had no problem with that but it seemed like they did and expected us to leave. He zipped through them. The nails were awful. Still old polish left on fingers. NO TOPCOAT. And made a point to tell us they dont take new clients normally.🤔🤔 It a walk in, no appointment nail salon....That makes no kind of sense. Definitely will never go back. They seem like they pick the clients based on status and we must have not met their standards. Will never go again and will spread the word to warn others.

So they dont do acrylic, they werent that well staffed, the wait was SO LONG and they dont take appointments so theres no way to avoid that, the space to wait is like 4 chairs crammed against the wall and with long waits, that leaves no space lol. The guy did seem very nice but its just not my cup of tea. Id rather go somewhere well staffed or that atleast has a proper waiting area for clients.

Apparently If they have so many customers they will Rush you out even if your feet are not done drying. I was told I could leave with the paper flip-flops They give you and that I couldn’t put on my own feet wear. I responded will I can’t walk in the flip flops a Customer Told me she does it all the time and that she drive. I responded I don’t drive. Then i was told I could sit back down and dry them. I told them will obviously I was being kick out. I will no longer be going back.

I came from out of town to get my nails done with a friend. When we told them what we were looking to get done the man who seems to manage the salon was very rude and aggressive right away by stating we need to write down the color choices and didn’t mention a wait. After we chose our colors we asked what the wait would be and he stated casually that it would be “about a half hour”. He asked if we were staying and I told him we weren’t sure. I briefly called a different salon to see if there was a wait. The same man stopped what he was doing and started YELLING at me in front of the entire salon asking if I was serious. He continued by saying it was a slap in the face and told us to get out of the salon. Everyone in the salon was quiet and watching. Not sure how the finished nail product looks but prepare to feel uneasy and unwanted at this salon. Just lack of respect for customers overall and extremely disappointing to experience.

I love Plains!!! My mom, grandma, great grandma and I have been going here for years. Michael, Victoria, and the rest of their staff are extremely welcoming and treat their customers like friends. It is a very comfortable setting. The salon itself is very clean and upkept. However, since the salon is so small, they are always very busy (because of their great work!) so you will sometimes be waiting for at least an hour depending on the day, time, and what you are getting done. This is not the kind of place you can quickly stop by at, you’ll need to set a few hours aside. But the final result is always worth the wait! Can’t wait to get home for the holidays so I can get a festive mani/pedi!

I came from out of state and just needed to get a fill and my girls wanted to get their nails done. They were unfriendly, uninviting & rude. The man made sure to let me know that he doesn’t take new acrylic clients What nail salon doesn’t take new clients!!? He rushed our nails, didn’t fully clean my hands so I had red nail polish over my skin from when he removed my old nail polish!! And then he didn’t even put a top clear coat on my nails!!! It was a very bad experience. I left anxious to leave there and very underwhelmed with my nails. I would definitely not recommend this place nor will I ever return there !!

I would not recommend this place very unprofessional. I went to get my nails and was there before they open I asked the owner Michael what time they open he advise me at 10am and asked meif I ever was there before I said yes and he said again they are to open at 10 I then went to wait in my car and notice a few mins later they had customers going in and started on there nails. So I then went in at 10 and I told him he said they open at 10 he asked what I needed done I told him a manicure they said okay and still proceeded to take 2 customers before me even knowing I have been waiting prior to them opening fojr business. Never in my life have I felt unwelcome or ever been to a public business that felt they did not want to help me. This is a place that doesn’t care about non regular customers!!!

My 2 friends and I walked in on a Saturday and we were treated like a disease. Immediately they expressed that they were short on help and that all of us were not going to be seen. My 1 friend did get her nails done with a gel mani, and it was a QUICK LESS THAN INADEQUATE JOB. AFTER WAITING AN HOUR BECAUSE THE OTHERS THAT WERE FREE CLAIMED THAT THEY DONT DO NAILS, THE SAME GIRL THAT DID MY FRIENDS NAILS ALSO DID A BANG UP JOB ON MY NAILS AS WELL. WERE WERE ALREADY TOLD BY OTHER SISTAS IN THE AREA NOT TO GO THERE BECAUSE THEY DI NOT LIKE TO HANDLE AFRICAN AMERICANS, BUT ALL OTHERS WERE SO CROWED AND PLAINS NAILS WAS OUR LAST CHOICE. The next day the Gel was cracking the manicure was horrible. We were very disappointed.

If I could select zero stars, I would. The man (who seems to be the owner or manager) was incredibly rude and aggressive. That is no way to conduct a place of business, especially one that prides themselves on service. I can’t imagine how much business this manager has turned away. If you want horrible results, rude employees, and the worst nail experience—go here!

If youve got 2 hours to wait for a mani/pedi, then Plains Nails is for you. They do a great job, but they are ALWAYS busy and they ate short staffed as it is a small salon.
