The technician was very professional and helpful in accommodating what I wanted. I had a different product on my nails so she had to remove that but the whole experience was very nice. Most of their pedicures come with a hot stone massage which is a big plus for me. And my manicure was perfect, I’ll definitely be back.

I got dip, extensions and nail art on them, and got them by a lovely and nice girl called Rena! And as soon as me and my sister walked in, the owner (I think ) was so so super nice and she was so fun to talk to ! I definitely recommend this place and the girl Rena! I’m definitely coming back next month with my sister again!! Thank you so much !

Ive never had a better experience at any salon Ive ever been to! My soon to be sister in law and I went and got pedicures done for the FIRST time ever, when we got there they immediately took care of us, we were walkin clients, mind you we have never been to this salon, we arent even from Wichita, we came to dress shop and decided to make it a full on girls day. We told the two very kind ladys this was our first time ever getting a pedicure done, they explained everything to us as they went explained everything they were using ect., we did the $50 green tea pedicure which was 100% worth the $50 and the 2 hour drive! We both were nervous at first, but quickly our nerves were settled, it was a great environment, super friendly, and the customer service was on point! They held conversations with us the entire time. Over all the experience was beyond amazing and we will definitely be back for our next girls day!! Thank you so much to Meah and Victoria for such a great experience!!

I went in for a pedi and fill.. I kept telling the lady I need a fill because my thumb nail is split. All she kept saying was no it’s not split and your nails look good. If you didn’t want to do the service you should of said so. Now I’m stuck with a broken nail because she and her co-worker were too lazy to assist. U will never go here again!

The pedi was amazing but the full set I wanted 2 fingers on each hand with design done I did get that but it looks horrible I heard so many good things but I wasn’t impressed at all. Then I paid $125 for a full set/pedi.

Great service as always. They were packed full of people but I was seated for my pedicure within 10 minutes. And my manicurist worked with a picture I showed her and she put her own spin on it. I think her name is Kay. Heads up, if going on a weekend, I recommend making an appointment.

An amazing nail salon! Came in, was greeted kindly, checked in and showed the individuals my design I wanted. I honestly didn’t know where to go. Until I stumbled across the name of the shop. Ivy, was graciously my artist for the day. She helped me picked out my colors and listened to what I wanted. It came out wonderfully, I’d say. She is skilled. Friendly. Everyone, really. Excellent service. My 82 year old mother, my sister, my friend and myself drive 1 1/2 hours to get the best service ever. Emily is the employee that served me and she is awesome. Emily and Ann serviced us last month and we just think that they are wonderful. The hostess at the door is such a bubbly, funny, and good humor lady. The place is clean and nicely decorated. As I was sitting there, I could hear the ladies with other customers talking. Very, very professional and friendly staff. I live in Preston, Ks., and it is worth the hour and 1/2 drive to get my nails done. Thank you.Today Ann serviced me. She is an asset to your customers and of course your company. The very first time I went to this salon my nails were done beautifully so I went back. I’ve been back 7 times for different services. The next time I went the girl could not do my nails properly so the owner had to finish them. The next time I went I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted and they messed up my eyebrows. And the last time I went I had a pedicure. My pedicure came with a callous treatment that I did not get and in the middle of my pedi the lady that was doing my pedi stopped to go get her eyebrows waxed and someone else took over. I felt that was very unprofessional and I didn’t get all the services that my pedi came with. Very disappointed. I won’t be returning

DO NOT ask for Lori. She tried to burn the bottom of my feet with the hot rocks and rushed through it. What took my moms pedi with Kenzi (1hr) took Lori 30mins. Me and my mother got the same ped and same design. Also, SCHOOL IDs only work for mani? Change the website and what u have ur workers tell customers. I’ve been told multiple times the it works for everything.

Ask to do a simple red bandana nail design and WOW no one could do it had to take the color off and then done pink nails with a few ringhnstones from 75 dollars so sad

In town visiting and went here with the bestie! Lilly and Rena was AMAZING!! Lots of laughs!I stubbed my toe and had a big chunk of my toe nail fall off, Rena fixed my nail so it’s not even noticeable and they look great!! Horrible service. My pedicure was very messy and the nail polish is indented in a few spots where she touched it but never fixed it.My full set was a nightmare, nail tech fought with me over the color I wanted because she liked pink better for me. My cuticles have never looked worse and I was overcharged by $15 dollars. Worst 2 hours Ive ever paid for.Was called back and told they can only fix their mistakes if I pay but dont worry, theyll only charge half price to fix their own mistakes. DO NOT GO HERE!

I had a terrible experience, I called made an appointment and when I showed up I showed my nail technician a photo and asked if she could do it. She said yes so we continued. She tried to tell me in order to do the design I wanted I would need to do a dip ombré and we could do the design next. They could not do the design. The dip they ended up using had particles in it that were not nude and it is now the main focus of my nails. $60 later with nails I did not want but hair and glitter is in the powder. Not only is this not cleanly but they told me they could do a design they could not. Also made me pay $10 more when I never even wanted an ombré. $50 and pink would’ve been better than getting up charged for something they can not do. I would never return

They are so friendly! I have tried a lot of nail salons around Wichita and this is one of the best. They make sure customers are a priority. My tech today was very fast and Im very happy with the result. I saw Ann, would definitely recommend her.

For my mothers birthday we needed a place that could book 5 pedicures all at the same time. The ladies at Big Apple were very welcoming, professional, incredibly clean and provided the greatest and longest pedicures with wonderful leg massages. Well worth the money. Mia did my pedicure and she spent so much time on me and went above and beyond what I expected. I will definitely be coming back.

Very unprofessional. I’ve gone here multiple times, and they always make me feel like I’m an inconvenience. They’re happy to seat walk ins, but I go in with an appointment every time and have to wait 30-45 minutes to be seated (after all of the walk ins that arrived after me).I’ve asked for a simple design before, and the nail tech outright told me no. She didn’t say it would be an extra charge (which would have been fine), she just said no, even though I mentioned that I wanted a design when I made my appointment.I’ve even been forgotten while my nails were drying under the light. I would have just left once they were dry, but I hadn’t paid yet, so after 30 minutes of sitting at the light, I flagged down an employee and asked to pay. My nail tech apologized and said that she had forgotten me.They normally do decent quality nails, but it’s just not worth it to go in and have them treat you like your presence is annoying them. I guess they don’t want my business.

Phoebe is phenomenal! She takes her time and is always so friendly and kind. Her manicures and pedicures are the best. I won’t go to anyone else for my full-set acrylics. I highly recommend her! :)I’ve never left a bad review, but unfortunately my mother had a bad experience with Lori today. She was extremely rude and disrespectful to my mom, myself and the owners of the business. She rushed through my moms pedicure, and kept leaving whenever her phone went off. Then she pointed at the clock and told my mom that she didn’t have time to rub her feet because she had another client waiting. She also forgot to use the hot towels, and quickly put them on my mothers legs and then took them off within 30 seconds. I paid extra for my mom to get the callus removal, and then she told my mom that she already did it, but she didn’t. She also started the service 10 min late and told my mom that she didn’t have time to run her feet. This was my moms birthday gift and her first experience here. The lady bedside my mother was also upset with how Lori was treating the customers. Then she sat beside me whenever I was getting my manicure and was loud and complaining the entire time.I’m still rating Big Apple 5 stars because of Phoebe and the owners. Everyone else is fantastic here and I would still highly recommend getting a mani and pedi with Phoebe or any of the other lovely gals! Thank you for working so hard and being kind. Have been coming here for several months and I love it! They are soo friendly and have great customer service! They go above and beyond to make you feel cared for. I get my nails and toes done never have any problems and always get what I ask for and leave satisfied.

When I first discovered this business, I was in search for some eyelash extensions. I did not have an appointment, however, they did their very best to take care of my every need while I awaited for a person to arrive and accomplish this desire of mine. I was thrilled to get every need taken care of all here at this establishment and they were so nice to me! Although this was just last year, I recently visited to get my eyebrows waxed and yet again I was not disappointed. I am now here once again to receive a super deluxe message on my feet and legs before I have to start school again. It is not hard to stay relaxed here. I will continue to drive from El dorado (where I live) to come here and be a consistent customer at this establishment. Thank you to everyone who works here!

This is where my granddaughters go for nails. It is a very very busy place. Very organized and people moved through quickly. Staff very kind and most speak English. Nails came out nice girls loved them.

Worst dip I’ve had from any salon. My nails have no shape now, they cut the nail down to little nubs. I asked for my manicure as well and did not receive. She rushed through and finished in 20mins and I have little bubbles from the dip on my nails. She did not speak to me at all besides telling me to wash my hands because she had her airpods in. Will never be back.

My daughter and I have been getting our nails done here for over 5+ years. We love our nail techs, Vickii and Tee. Vickii always takes her time, she is a perfectionist and is the sweetest soul in this salon. Tee does exceptional work, aims to please and always makes us feel welcome. These two provide excellent customer service and because of that, we our loyal clients. Both my daughter and I get so many compliments on our nails. They are extraordinary!

Last week (the photo below is a week since I got my set) was my first time going to Big Apple. They were busy which is always a good sign. I did have an appointment and was seated right away. I had my nails done by Lori who was very nice and did an amazing job. I recently moved to Wichita from South Florida and Im very picky about my nails haha! My only complain is that a had my thumbs break a couples days ago but that was probably my fault and not a result of the work. I was able to file it down since it didnt break all the way off 👏 💖 definitely will go back. Lori was great!

Currently sitting in my car highly upset at the dip manicure I was talked into. Horribly thick, unevenly shaped and visibly showing natural nail on the sides. I was also cut pretty bad bleeding though the last 15 minutes of this process. I let her know I was unhappy with the thickness and how I could see my natural nail on the sides and I was ignored. After being done my $5 first time visit coupon was denied because she stated it was for second visit. Instead gave me a 10% discount for clipping my skin and causing a ugly scab to form. Never again. Absolutely wouldn’t return.

I made the decision to leave my regular nail salon after 3 years of loyalty and I was nervous to try a new place. I chose Big Apple based on reviews and location. I went to this salon for this first time today and I am SO IMPRESSED! They have an online system that you check into upon arrival and it tracks your visits and adds rewards points to your profile. The staff is incredibly friendly, the salon is beautiful and has plenty of space. There are a lot of service options and tons of colors to choose from whether it’s powder, polish, shellac, etc. Phoebe did my nails and I am IN LOVE with the results! This is 100% my new salon, yay!

It’s hard for me to make this review but I have to. I got ripped off! My nail tech, Vicki was great in the beginning but then she got a client who was waiting on her and she got really impatient and short with me, rude almost. I understand that you don’t want your client to wait but I had to wait before I could be seen! They need to start spacing those appointments more! On top of that she charged $70 for my manicure. 3 designs on each hand only, really? I didn’t argue with them but when I got home I checked the price of their services and it just does not add up. Now I’m conflicted because she did do a good job on my nails but the attitude wasn’t there :(

Went there to get mani-pedi for me and my friend. First, the nail techs tried to upsell us. When we insisted on the service we wanted, they became very annoyed. They were extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the whole service. Will not go back to that place again. There are a lot of other nail salons at this price point, try out any one of those. Stay away from this one.

Ive gone to my gal Kay for many years now and shes made this salon my home. The hellos when you walk in, and the staff who is always smiling whether you know them directly or not. I rarely stray from going to Kay with exception to when she is busy and another technician steps in. I highly recommend Lily who does an amazing job and also Phoebe who did my dip and pedi today and did outstanding! Very meticulous and wanted to make sure I was happy. They all are terrific and honestly, their just isnt another salon like them :)

Such a cool atmosphere! I was greeted by a lady with a bubbly personality. My nail girl was a great conversationalist and made me feel extra special today. They played good music and everyone had a smile on their face. There are plenty of booths, plenty of pedicure chairs, and plenty of staff. It was refreshing to know if i had to wait it wouldnt be long at all. I did not have to wait, I was sat immediately and loved every bit of the experience. The price was perfect! They also have perks, promotions, and a point system! I will go here every time from now on!
