Love the apartment and all the wonderful activities they have for tenants! It’s a beautiful place to live! Clean when I moved in and any issues are handled in a timely matter!

Lori and “friends” at Foxboro have been amazing. I just started moving in. The process from showing to picking up my keys has been seamless!The lease was extremely long, but there’s no question that I know what I’m responsible for and my rights as a tenant - very thorough! I look forward to many happy years as a resident.

It’s so easy build an excellent rapport with everyone in this community. Residents as well as the office staff. There’s a renovated gym, which I could train at any time since it’s 24 hours. I personally enjoy the bbq grills, tennis court, and volleyball tournaments among residents. Maintenance responds almost Immediately and efficiently. I may have missed something else, but I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. In conclusion, I have relocated quite a few times, and this is the nicest place I have lived so far

To say Im disappointed with this complex is an understatement. The space was great, the complex is quiet and clean- but the central AC does not work in the summertime. For two weekends in a row, I have spent half of that time without working AC, filing multiple work orders, calling the maintenance AND office line, and begging someone to come and fix my AC. It got to the point where I considered going to the office and not leaving until someone fixed it. By the 2nd weekend, the maintenance finally confessed that the AC compressor overheats and turns off- and theres nothing they can do to fix it. They also told me every apartment here does this. So not only has the management team lied about what qualities they provide, they have also costed me more money and time. I am buying a portable AC so I can actually have AC during the summer, and I have spent multiple days trying to get someone to recognize and fix this error- only for them to tell me theres nothing they can do. In case youre wondering, the AC turns off on days that are 90 degrees and above.The management team specifically lied to me when I asked about the central AC, they lied to me when they fixed my AC the first weekend, and they will lie when they comment on this review for me to call them. I called them 5 times the first weekend- no one answered. Stay away from here unless you dont mind possibly having heatstroke.

SO I SUBMITTED A WORK ORDER FOR MOLD EVERYWHERE IN THIS APARTMENT AND I SPECIFICALLY SAID TO NOT GO IN MY APARTMENT IF I WASN’T THERE. SO, I COME HOME FROM WORK TO FIND OUT THEY CLEANED THE MOLD AND BY DOING THIS, THEY DESTROYED MY COUCH COVER, TWO PAIRS OF SHOES AND A JACKET THAT I HAD RIGHT UNDER THEY SPRAYED WHATEVER CHEMICAL THEY USED TO REMOVE THE MOLD.I WOULDN’T BE SO UPSET IF IT WAS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENS, BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT. SINCE I KNOW THAT THERE ARE MAJOR ISSUES WITH THIS BUILDING BECAUSE IT LEAKS EVERYWHERE I’M SURE MOLD WILL COME BACK I GUESS I’LL JUST HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT UNTIL MY LEASE IS UP AND I CAN GET OUT OF HERE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND A NICE PLACE TO LIVE. SAVE YOURSELF SOME HEADACHES, FRUSTRATIONS AND SLEEPLESS NIGHTS WITH ALL THESE ISSUES.

Maintenance handle it well with good advice on way forward

We were out of town; so, I am just now seeing the microwave fix! Everything is fixed and great! I couldn’t even tell someone was here! I’m very thankful!

We as family stayed in Foxboro apartments for 36 months (3 Years). we have enjoyed staying out in Foxboro. Stores are very nearby distance ( 1 miles away). Leasing office staffs were very polite and friendly. I know Lori from beginning and she responded to all my queries. During my stay, leasing management has changed. New management also very supportive and they helped me during the pandemic time by extending the lease month on month. My kids enjoyed playing in pool and in tennis court. Love to come back to Foxboro if I get a chance to come back to wheeling in future.

I am leaving here since more than a year, my experience is so far very good.Their is plenty of space for walk with my family, Grills and bench for gathering and enjoy food.Staff is very co-operative address the issue promptly. I had asked for carpet change and they did it on time.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!Management is horrible. They do not care about the current residents. They renovated apartments, like how about you fix mine first?????WARNING —- horrible horrible place to live.There is POLICE here everyday because of the people they let live here!!!I’m telling you, you can do better and for the same rent amount. Save yourself time and stress and move someplace else. Trust me.

We had only good experience with foxboro. Nice apartment for small family.Pros-Friendly staff.We were not charged any money when we shifted.Nice surroundings with a lake.

Price and quality is good. Live here for 2 years. Friendly staff a lot of cool community events. Big minus is planes noise from planes landing. Twice we have ants and twice mice also. 1st floor apartments are cold, you dont need AC - if 75+ inside will be 65-68

Foxboro like a big family!!! Very friendly staff, good price, clean, amazing views, very good apartments!! I lived here 2 years on a first floor. Twice We had ants and mice, but its not a big problem, we used traps. Kitchen was old. Rooms is good, big bathroom, big windows. Foxboro stay near by executive airport, thats was noisy for me.They have new swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, lake, gym, awesome staff, a lot of food events. You feel very comfortable here. Foxboro really is a very good apartments!!!!

Started out great! Even got over the constant planes landing and taking off overhead. Current issue is with two things, our water bill is becoming a separate payment, and secondly I’m not allowed to have an electric grill on my balcony based on city ordinance stated by the email from office management; only to find the city ordinance calls for a zero tolerance policy on propane and charcoal. Very unsatisfied with the misuse of an ordnance by the office to avoid having to follow up with individuals and their grills types. Especially considering this place averages 1,200 for a one bedroom before appliances and are also moving the water bill from included to separate.l which with electric will boost the average renter to another 200 + dollars. Main issue with the water being that the bill gets divided by the tenants. Even if they are on vacation or out for business constantly they will be paying a portion of their unused water. The new management company is a monopolizing company that has been scooping up good honest apartment complexes and turning their tenants backwards.

Maintenance repair response was really good. Tye only thing i am concerned about is the technician has no mask at all.

Had my problem resolved within hours of placing request. Really great service by the staff.

Security Deposit will never come back. Electric bills are high during the Winter.Otherwise Nice apartments, and friendly leasing staff. I stayed for a year. It has two volleyball courts, and a tennis court for those who want to play. plenty of space inside to walk, and a beautiful lake.

Went to bury my coax under the carpet, the tac strips were rotted out (By the patio door) Maintenance had it fixed in 36 hours

Former resident who would NOT recommend this place! I hope this review will help another potential victim to avoid this nasty, unethical management.First, the apartments are right by major road and an airport which is very noisy. Forced AC is very loud, impossible to watch TV while its running.Heating system in winter took hours to heat my 1 bedroom to 70 degrees and heating bill was sky high.Word of it all is the management, especially the manager named Susan.Im very clean person, who never cooked in the apartment and left the place is Ive received upon moving out. I waited for the management to mail my security deposit confidently but they not only didnt return my deposit, they sent me a BILL! The charged included cleaning, deodorizing (I dont know what), fireplace cleaning and separate charge to clean the countertops.When I called office about this, they were very rude, didnt care what I had to say at all and manager Susan was sarcastic. I overheard them laughing in the background while Susan was on the phone with me. After listing all my concerns regarding this bill, all Susan kept saying to me was I dont think so!Of course, when you first move in, they pretend to be nice but when moving out, forget about getting any of your money back and be prepare to receive a large bill at your new address. You will receive the same nasty, sarcastic response should you raise any issue with this also.Avoid this place at all possible, there are plenty of comparable apartments near by with decent humans running the place.

I was in Foxboro (Wheeling) from 2013 Dec to 2014 Apr and 2015 May to 2016 May and I liked it very much. friendly leasing office staff.Good point about this is Every month they will give you a gift while paying the rent and most of the months they organize games (Online Bingo, BINGO), Free Breakfast, $5 papa john’s Pizza, Etc...Fitness room is a medium level room with nice equipment. They were asked suggestion from people in the apartment to improve the things within community. So they will improve well than the past.Liked it...

Sudi from management staff is very nice, always ready to help you with any concern. The disadvantage of living here is heater is too noisy, even more disturbing that the airplanes outside. Expect more than $150 electricity bills for winter.Place is quiet and comfortable, near by groceries stores and pharmacy.

Staff are super friendly, the location is awesome. Apartment rates are nice considering all the awesome amenities that come with the place. On-site laundry is available but make sure you bring lots of quarters! The community is also pretty friendly!

I stayed in this place for 3 years, and I loved it, it has pros and cons, but since there are more pros, Id would say the easy access to the variety of stores, restaurants is a big plus, managing staff is always friendly and they are always there to help you even Sundays! I would highly recommend this place to live and save money.

Lived there for two years. Highly regret the choice of staying there for the second year. Very frustrating management, they dont care about the clients experience, neither they consider renovating the apartments. They invest all the money in the environment to attract more clients, however the apartments are in a terrible condition. AC system in the apartments is very old, very loud, expect a bunch of dust in there, its impossible to clean. If you dont have an allergy to dust, youll definitely develop one while living in there. Very high electricity bills, which are connected to the AC/heater usage during summer and winter. Very thin walls, youre highly dependent on the AC/heater, regardless of the weather outside. During the winter you would feel the cold coming in through the walls, windows, door, it cools the apartment in mins. Same in the summer with the heat coming in. Highly ineffective and expensive AC/heating unit! Also, they would charge you additionally for anything they want, with a complete ignorance to your opinion. They are located by the private airport, expect planes taking off and landing right above your head every 15 mins from approximately 6 am to 10 pm (often later than that) 7 days a week. It gets very loud and unpleasant! If you want to save money in that area, I would recommend staying in a different apartment complex, this one is overpriced, and mismanaged. Highly not recommended.

I have lived there for several years. Other than having plots of parking spaces, there are 8 aspects I hate about this apartment community: 1. loud airplane noise. In summer time, planes fly over just 200 feet above you, every often, very loudly. Sometimes even after midnight. 2. A lot of hidden fees. They charge you $175 cleaning fee when you move in then charge you $150 cleaning fee after you move out (including a mandatory carpet cleaning fee of $100), even though I cleaned the room well. 3. Heating and hot water, cooking are all electronic, meaning you have to pay for those costs. Electricity bills are high during winter and summer. 4. They raise rent by about $50 per year, rent is rather expensive. 5. Management staff Sudi was trying to give you the worst location rather than the best available one. Not honest. 6. Gym was dirty and always malfunctioned. 7. There were rats and roaches in the room. 8. Heating and AC unit was very loud. one cannot sleep with it being on. It asked for repair and they came to fix it but nothing changed.I would not recommend this to anyone.

Very unhappy with the service and the way foxboro treated us for staying there for 3 long years. I have seen them charge just 30$ for odor from other residents because they could find other reasons to get money for. Because our house was very clean and could not find any reason, they charged 150$ in the name of odor. Now there is no ground for me to fight because no one can prove that there was no odor when we were leaving the house. WOULDNT RECOMMEND. If there is no option please know that the security deposit that you are paying in the beginning will never be returned.

If youre planning on living in/near Wheeling, you should *highly* consider Foxboro. The leasing staff is top notch and deserves all 5 of my stars. The complex itself is well-kept due to the high standards set. Floor plans are spacious, the apartment amenities are fairly decent, and maintenance inside and out is clearly a priority. The location is pretty nice. Wheeling is a safe town with a good mix of culture and friendly citizens. Wheeling is also very close to Allstate, and many who live here are Allstate employees as Foxboro is clearly a popular choice for them. Also, though I rarely used it, the fireplace is an excellent addition to both the look and functionality of the apartment! The pool is great, and the ability to play tennis and volleyball allows for frequent positive interaction with neighbors, which I feel counterbalances the first negative below.The neighbors are generally friendly, but slamming doors and parking like its guessing game is pretty common. Sharing a laundry space with these people tends to be a bit of a guessing game as well, since, more times than not, one person will monopolize washers and dryers for several hours, so youre forced to gamble whenever you need to wash your clothes (especially if you have to walk through snow to get there.) But I would guess that all of this is a frequent occurrence anywhere you live.The second con is just a minor one, and I think another review covered this, so Ill just attest to it: the heat and a/c are annoyingly loud. On the plus side, youll save money on heat and a/c merely because youd rather be slightly less comfortable than have to turn up the tv or shout at the person next to you every time it gets too hot/cold.I would rate Foxboro at a 4.7/5. It would be my top choice for Wheeling-specific locations at this price range. Its not perfect, but its definitely a fantastic deal for the price you pay.

Foxboro - A place to enjoy to the fullest. I am a resident here since 2014 and been enjoying completely. The entire foxboro management team including maintenance crew are very friendly and helpful. They listen to you and value your concern, Thats what you want while staying in a community. Various entertaining events are organized throughout the year for all residents which is a bonus. Go to places are very nearby. People work in Deerfield, Northbrook, Lincolnshire, Buffalo grove, Wheeling, Prospect Heights, Arlington Heights can definitely consider this place for a long term stay.

If I could rate lower stars I would.This place is terrible, I will never recommend this place to anyone. You deal with constant airplane noise, terrible inconsiderate neighbors, overcrowded lot, washing machines and dryers were always down, disgusting gym, hidden fees since you move in and to top it off the staff is a joke especially Sudi. She’s super nice at first and once you announce that you’re moving out she’s really rude. We painted one wall, we asked her about four time for the original color so we can paint over before moving out. She never gave us the color and stated “ you don’t need to worry about it we always paint after every resident moves out” every time. We even double checked when we turned in the keys same statement. About a month later we get a statement billing us for the paint job! Are you kidding me?! So not only do they keep our deposit, they are also billing us $180 for the paint.Seriously they are a joke and sudi should not be working there.

We really loved our stay at FoxBoro. We found office staff specially Sudi very friendly and considerate. We did not have any issue as all our maintenance request were addressed within 24hrs. The only con i can think of is airplane noises because of the location. But we got used to it.I understand that a few problem might arise in every society but if you have responsible and caring staff looking after it, it should not be a issue. I wish we did not had to move because of job change.

We have been with Foxboro Apartments for 2 years (2016-2018). We had a bad experience with the previous apartment we rented from an owner, so we decided to choose apartments with a managing company.We choose Foxboro. It has a great location: OHare, Botanic garden, Northbrook Metra, Wheeling Metra, Palatine Metra, shops and malls all within 15 minutes drive reach.We had some problems during the period of out stay at Foxboros. The water heater started leaking. We called the office and the whole boiler was replaced the same day. We had a crack in the wall, so when the spring had come, it started leaking, the management handled it very well it was fixed in a couple of days. We had some mold in the corner of the room. It was fixed quickly by Foxboro.The rent price was reasonable with about $35 yearly increment. The winter of 2017 was cold and our electric bills were as high as $150 per month. In the summer its about $40..50.Lori, Sudi and Judi (from the office) and the maintenance team were helping us along the way. They have always been very polite, reasonable and professional.The people living in the complex are friendly and nice. There are two volleyball nets and often lots of people playing to keep you a company, and a tennis court is a plus. They have just remodeled the swimming pool.So Foxboro is good place to live with a very convenient location, reasonable competitive prices, responsible management and nice people, and its a safe neighborhood.

The worst apartment I have ever been to! Since my husband was relocating I requested them to add one of my relative to lease. Inspite of not adding anyone to lease the manager and staff were very arrogant to me. At last I ended up staying alone in single bedroom for almost an year. Staff are very much arrogant and not at all friendly!I will never recommend anyone to this apartment.

If i could give less stars I would! Avoid renting at all cost, they do not value you as a tenant. Heating was loud! Kept heating off during the night as it kept me up, nothing could be done about it. Fitness room sucks! You can hear neighbors door slamming, who by the way are not very friendly. They screw you over on your security deposit and add hundreds of dollars to renew your lease. Trust me when I say do not bother renting from Foxboro!
