Stacey Hill is GREAT GREAT GREAT and AMAZING. Yes, in All Caps. More than an apartment Manager, she wears SEVERAL hats. Mother, Sister, Friend and Psychologist. Too MANY times to count, I have walked up to her about an Issue, Shes dealing with 2 or 3 issues Already. Thats just within minutes. Cant imagine how the Entirety of her shift. Ive seen this for the YEARS that I have been here.Shes only ONE person........ This place COULD NOT run without Stacey Hill. The 5 Stars are for Her....👍

I have lived here for a few months now. I have no complaints at all, my apartment is quite. I have a doggie and they just recently put in a nice dog park for the residents. My dog and I love it. The manager ( Stacey) has been great to work with, she has always made time for me no matter how small my questions have been. I enjoy living here

I’ve been living here for 2 years. The maintenance team is hard working, the property manager Staci cares about tenant issues and concerns, and my unit is quiet. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend living here

This place is TERRIBLE. Probably one of the worst apartment complexes Ive seen. I know MULTIPLE apartments and residents that have issues with BLACK MOLD growing INSIDE the walls and insulation and the staff outright REFUSES to do any type of tests; air, swab, anything; and just allow people to live there with holes in their walls, mold growing out of it. They also try to LIE and say its discoloration, BUT FROM WHAT THO? Its absolutely ridiculous and a hazardous place to live for paying over $1,000 a month for 2 bedroom apartments. Staff is just terrible for refusing to perform any tests or even compensate for having to live in these conditions. Pathetic.

Ive been living here for a couple of years. Office staff is friendly and I love my apartment. I like the location and the view but the elevators are never working. Theres old people and people in wheel chairs here that need them. I hate coming home from a 12 hour shift to walk up and down 8 flights of stairs to let my dog out every other day. The pool and fitness center have been closed for over a year. Im going to start looking elsewhere because I dont want to continue to pay more money when the quality is going down. There is no logical reason to raise my rent every year if conditions are just going to get worse.

Ive been here for a few weeks now and I really like it so far. The staff is very friendly and professional. Kim is amazing, shes been on top of any issue Ive had and communicates openly and honestly. The maintenance staff is pretty quick, friendly and knowledgeable.The location is very convenient and its fairly quiet for such a large community.

Kim is a very great help to me and my family. Very good service and respectful. I would definitely go to her if you need business taking care of and she works fast.

The property manager, STACY, has made Skygate Apartments a great place to live. I have lived here 1 yr and only had 1 problem, if you want to call it that. My bathroom sink was slow draining and I called her and within an hour, I had my sink draining like new.Everyone working here is GREAT, I love the maintenance workers too. They are ALWAYS on top of things.I highly recommend SKYGATE if and when you are planning to move.

Stacey and the staff are very efficient and nice! If you call, they answer their phones and are willing to help. They never lost my rent so I don’t know what people are talking about. The office staff are very knowledgeable on what happens in each building. The entire staff treat you like family. As far as the other residents, if you stay to yourself, mind your own business, and follow the apartment guidelines, you shouldn’t have any problems. I never had any maintenance problems within the entire year I lived here. I never experience me anything bad at all. It’s a comfortable place to live.

I am a current tenant here... we going to start with our move (March 2020) in our apartment had flooded in the kitchen they came to “fix” my apartment the next day but never came to Change our counter top Or the cabinets the pandemic came and I never saw them after but seen them fixing other tenants problems call Stacey( august 2020) and she had people come out fix the COUNTER only while all this going in my toilet floods as well two weeks after the counter being fix the counter falls off in the middle of the night currently we are fight fighting with hot water we went two and half weeks without hot water ( this email is at the half mark Of the two weeks) in our homes please do not live here almost forgot while all this going on our rent never change

I called to inquire for an apartment here at Sky Gate and the ladies in the office were very nice and helpful. They were very nice and quick to respond to my e-mails after they sent me the property information online. I hope I am able to move into Sky Gate apartments. VERY NICE STAFF!!!!

Great place to live, beautiful area near shopping center....The Management team in the office, Kim and Stacy are amazing! Always helpful, kind, and will address any situation with a since of urgency. They have put our safety first during covid-19 by keep the building sanitized and following all safety precautions. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars for a great apartment complex

Ryan and Stacy are amazing office staff, they responded to maintenance requests very quickly and stay on top of maintenance. I been through a few apartments and I appreciate the level of customer service I receive. Another bonus my neighbors are very quiet. I would recommend to check this place out if your looking for a place to live at. Place has been very cleaned up and maintained from what the complex used to be years ago.

Stacey and Ryan are amazing in the office. Always greeting you with a smile and always willing to listen. It is a safe place to live. We love living here as it is the quietest apartment living we have had and our view is amazing. Having the gym and pool on site is also great. Yes, there is things that brake and may go wrong, but that is life all the way around. The staff how ever are quick to note it and work on getting it corrected as quick as possible. In the short amount of time we have been here. We have seen numerous days of improvements and upgrades being done. Looking forward to the future here and Thank you to the staff at Sky Gate Apartments!

People Stay away from Skygate! Its nothing but a high rise project! We were stuck there for 3 years! It felt like a prison! In the winter, you couldnt control your own heat! In the summer, no central air! Those window air conditioners, in the wall, in the living room, do nothing, but run up your DTE bill!The rent kept going up, every year, and the place was getting worse and worse! The hallways would stink, with weed, and dog poop! We are free, and moved into a house!

Good morning yall i have been living there going on 5 months now. They are a wonderful people if you just follow the rules and do what ask u to do u will have no problems live there. It is very quite place and there is everything all around there that you need. I would give them more then 5 stars if i could. Make sure you stop in and take a look at place and see all smile faces

All in all, this is the most HONEST office staff I have ever dealt with. If you have a problem, it is always taken care of. Stacy, the office manager is absolutely amazing. She is true to her word and super sweet. Many changes have come about since I lived there and many more are to come. I appreciate everything this staff did for my family while we lived at SkyGate!

Ive been here for less than a month, and I am more than satisfied with my apartment and with the staff.The building is relatively quiet, the on-site fitness center and pool are a big bonus. I like having an elevator, too.The staff has been more than helpful. Theyre on top of their game. I also got a great moving-in deal, which Im very happy about.

I lived here for over 2 years and despite that bad reviews have had no issues! Rent was cheap, maintenance always checked out any issues I had in a timely manner, and my neighbors were very quiet. Office staff very friendly and helpful.

I love it here. I always have . Ive moved a couple times for opportunities too far to stay but always come back . They even have a family and friends day! Free bugers and dogs, chips, pop, a bounce house and family fun. Great community to live in. Nice people. Great management team.

The place is unkept. The security doors are wedged open. There is excessive noise in the hallways. It just doesnt seem like a place I would want to live.

SkyGate gave us the best first year of our marriage! #1 The skyline view is INCREDIBLE. The office staff was very kind to us and always responded very quickly to us. They were very helpful in our renters predicaments too! Our neighbors were super friendly: some of the kindest people. Great location. With their Very affordable rates, we were able to save up for our house.

Ive been here a month so far, this place is under new management so you have to look at the most recent posts for the most accurate info. Stacy, Misty and Anna are the 3 musketeers, they are very nice and are willing to work with you if you are doing your part. I live in the highest upgrade and its most convenient for me and people who visit. The best times to call are in the morning or before 1 they get a lot of walk ins after that. If youre close its best to go personally visit because they might be in another room taking care of customers or requests. This place is clean and quiet the only con is if youre moving furniture be cautious because the elevators are not big enough for long couches, but dressers and everything else should be fine.

Moved here in October 2017.Pros:The staff are nice.Great location.Other residents are very nice and polite.Cheap to live here compared to other places.Cons:Workout equipment always broke.I always walk down and verify the correct amount to pay and to make sure there are no issues a week before rent is due, always an issue with owing more money.Fire alarm is always going off.

It’s been over a year since I lived here. My stay here was awful. I only moved in because it was dog friendly and I needed a place for the time being. During our stay we have had multiple problems with our rent. We would pay it but they would lose it. Multiple times this has happened. To find out someone who worked there was stealing people’s money orders. The place is always under a new management. They all don’t know what they are doing clearly. I’m writing this review because even though I’ve moved out of here awhile ago, they are charging us a very large debt due to “miss rent”. Which isn’t true. We have paid all those months of rent. They probably just stole it again. They kept the security deposit which I was totally fine with, there were minor damage with a part of the carpet but that’s it. We left the place cleaner than when we got it. If anyone who is thinking about moving here, don’t. And if you do live here make sure you keep all your documents and keep track of everything you pay for here because they’ll try to screw you over like they did us.

We have the BEST property manager ever! She works so hard trying to clean the place up and keep everyone safe. She does her best to make sure we are all taken care of! Thank you Stacy!!

I’ve been living here for about 4 months and I honestly have no complaints... my floor is quiet as ever 🙌🏼& everyone is very friendly. As far as the new staff I am very impress especially with Stacy hill! she is very understanding when things get a little tight for you and she works with you to make sure you at a good standing.. I defiantly plan on being here a couple more years things are really looking up for the skygate apartments.

My stay at sky gate has been pretty good. The manager Stacey makes me feel like family and the maintenance guys are pretty cool too. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon.

I really appreciate how quickly Misty Waters and Stacy followed up with me regarding obtaining a new apartment. I have been at SkyGate for a while. Actually the name was Hunters West I believe when I moved in. I have seen many changes and these two individuals are really making things happen. I appreciate their follow up and they do what they say they will do. We have had issues, however it took time for the problems to build and lets give them adequate time to make their necessary changes because progress is occurring. Thank you ladies for your hard work.

We have been without hot water for over 2 weeks, was told on 12/23/17 that they were replacing the boiler THAT day... Its now Christmas and still no hot water. The hallway carpets are dirty and stained, they need to be cleaned/replaced. 98% of indoor doors have no handles/knobs. The windows are original to the building, old single pane, aluminum frames that are so drafty that the curtains/blinds move when the wind is blowing. They got rid of all the good office staff when the new management took over... only upgrades since then is they sprayed the parking lot with sealant, and installed a fence and gate...Over 3 years later, currently its 8/25/20, the current hot water temp is 87.1 so much for a shower!!!

Im at peace with my apartment at Skygate Apartments. Everything and every store that one can think of is within a 3 mile radius.However, what sold me was ANNA going over and beyond the call of duty. She insured all my requests were met. She pays attention to detail, shes sympathetic to the needs of the tenants, and shes extremely personable. Missy as well has gone above and beyond. These two make an awesome team and keep their word.There are a few minor improvements that needs addressing within the building, but they are in the process of renovating.

I have been in for going on 3 years and I love the new staff! They are very personable, fast and efficient. Stacey Hill, Misty Waters and Anna are awesome! They will definitely help you out.

I moved to Sky gate apartments in September 2017 and have been living here for 6 months now. I was hesitant to move here because there was a lot of negative reviews about the complex. Turns out, the complex has recently undergone new management and my experience with the new management (misty) has been stellar. Any concerns I have are always handled in a timely manner. For example, there was a leak above my apartment and I called the emergency maintenance phone number and the guy was here in 10-15 minutes and fixed the issue for me.There are some negatives about the complex (no washers or dryers in unit, plus the cost to wash and dry is 1.75 per load, kind of expensive in my opinion). The hallways are dirty and sometimes residents drag their trash bags in the hallways leaving behind a mess. The workout machines do not always work and the elevators are not big enough to fit large couches so buy small couches for your living room if you plan on moving in. My apartment itself is very decent and I do not have many complaints about the unit itself. Overall, however, I am happy to have moved in here and it is an affordable place to live for a college student. I would give this apartment complex around a 3.7/3.8.

My apartment doesnt have any damages to it. Its one of the upgraded ones. The floor I live on isnt noisy. The ladies in the office have been very helpful to me.

Like another reviewer said dont waste your time or your money here. Ive been here since last August and am miserable beyond all compared. I have to listen to doors slamming, kids dragging garbage down the hall, people yelling and screaming at each other below me. Then the smells. Dont get me started on those. Its THE worst place I have ever lived in my lifetime. I would give this place a BIG FAT ZERO if I could. DONT waste your time coming here. ITS AWFUL and on top of everything else the MAIN reason why I was liking this place is because of the balcony for my DOG. Did I get a unit with a balcony? NO. Did I get a standard unit I can actually afford? NO. Instead I have an upgrade with no balcony. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PEOPLE> DONT COME HERE>

If you read the 5 star reviews you can tell that its management.Misty and Stacy are just looking to save there ass from being fired which at the rate this place is being ran it should happen soon...After new ownership this place has just took a turn for the worst.not one entrance door is secure because they’ve been broken for months with no fix in sight...stairwells are beyond disgusting and it’s a mystery to who and what you may find when you walk in or out....between murders,domestic violence,and drug activity,vehicle theft and vandalism...you would believe that Westland Police does training exercises here because they are here that much.Rent is 8 plus for a “newer” style unit.it’s just not worth it...washers and dryers are hit or miss.dog urine odors and dog feces own the entrances.mice and bugs in apartment’s...you’ll lose hot water every few days and that’s been going on for a while.along with freezing to death in the winter.good luck with maintenance.good luck with management.if the owners and staff actually looked at this place and cared it could be better than what it is but at this time this place is nothing but a ghetto sh!thole..sad to say but shacktown may be better

Crappy place. Hallways look trashy, dont be fooled by the tour when they take you down the nice hallway. The smell of weed fills the air. The stairways look FILTHY. Electricity goes out every time the wind blows the wrong direction! The doors and gates for entry are also electronic! So when power is out you will be locked out until someone comes and props it open. Maintenance request wont be served for weeks(either they forgot or didnt put it in). Dont really feel safe. I am a female and live alone. There is always a group of people just standing in front of the doors when you enter and exit. Oh, and bugs! If your neighbor has bed bugs theyre spraying your unit too. And grain beetles which I never heard of until I moved here... just bugs... I wouldnt recommend this place to my worse enemy...

This place is TERRIBLE! Thank God this month is the last month for me. Ive been here for 2 years and out of the two years Ive been here nothing has changed. I mean nothing. The tub stay backing up, the mold stay growing. The service is terrible. The people they hire steal from us. The lady that worked in the office was writing our money orders out to herself and cashing them instead of paying our rent. The fitness area has been down for over 5 months now. The pool be to cold. They fix up the outside of the building more then they do the actual apartments. And if you give them anything other then a 4 star they wont tell you thank you for your comment. 😂😂

I wish i could give them zero stars. A week into living here, The pipe above our apartment froze and burst. It literally was raining in my apartment. The apartment was vacant and the pipe bursting was due to the heat not being on in the apartment which is the managements responsibility. I am paying for renters insurance through the complex $15/month for a 100,000 policy. I have not been provided with a policy number or even a claim form to claim all of my damaged items 2 weeks after the incident has happened. They have not done a single thing and it shows me that they dont care. honestly DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! we pay 719$ for a one bedroom apartment. This complex is all about money. when it comes down to caring for their residents, its clear that they dont. very shameful on their part.

The gates break down a lot and guests cant contact their party to get in. Elevators are slow. The building smells awful and the pot smell is very strong in the elevators. And parents let their kids play in the halls and elevators unsupervised.

Stacy and the rest of the staff are very cordial and address any concern with efficiency and great customer service. Their customer service makes it a great place to live.

I would give them 5 stars if they hadn’t lied..... they will do anything to get your money and once they get what they need they no longer communicate effectively.

I moved into Sky Gate about a month ago. Both Misty and Stacey were absolutely fabulous in helping me get settled into my apartment. They made sure that the unit was in move-in condition and any necessary repairs were done in a very timely manner. I can see improvements in the property (exterior) on a regular basis, not only were security gates installed, but the parking lot in front has necessary repairs done. The maintenance crew tries to keep the property clean, trash picked up, etc., but without tenants cooperation, i.e. throwing trash on the ground, spilling liquids in the elevator..... it makes it difficult. I would recommend this complex to my friends without hesitation.

Sky Gate Apartment is the real deal the staff or very nice an the place is very clean i would hesitate to tell u to move u will never go wrong

Apartment is nice but the hallways always stink. The tenants do not care about the property so its always trash in the hallways, dog poop on the ground, just nasty ground keeping. The maintence crew is wonderful though

I have been here for 2yrs now. i have to say that Stacey is a very understanding and caring woman. Ive been in the office and seen first hand how some of the ppl who live here go off on her because of something they did or didnt do. i felt bad a fee times. if it was me I would of knocked them out. but it goes to show you how amazing she is. to sit there and take that from ppl. your lucky to have her as your manager she had really made a difference here. thanks for making me feel like home.

I just moved here in October and I love it! I am in a 1 bedroom and its very spacious. There is lots of closet space. The maintenance staff is very prompt and professional. Theres an indoor pool and a gym and a nice wifi cafe where you can relax! What surprised me the most is the residents that I have crossed paths with are very nice and always acknowledge by say hi or have a great day still and Ive been here for almost 5 months! There is also decent security and I feel safe. Also, the location is by anything and everything you would need.

Hate it!!!!1. Referred someone and didn’t get my $250 off my rent and they stayed here for 6 months2. Back door is always broke where the key fob doesn’t open it3. Walls are super thin4. Very expensive and i feel like I’m in a dorm5. Maintenance takes forever to come fix things6. Halls are always stinky7. Fire alarm goes off 24/7 middle of the night and all8. They always lose money orders so make sure to take pics of it

This is the worst place i moved my daughter in her first apartment. It was nothing like the model we was showed! It was old and out dated. The entry gate is always out of order. The pool area very nasty. Dog popped everywhere in the back. The pipes burst and it rained in her apartment. They control the heat so it gets cold. And because she didnt renew the lease, they put a card in her mailbox everyday for the last 2 weeks of her lease saying dont leave mail the apartment is vacant even tho she stll lived there. Her mail was sent back 2 weeks worth!

Under new management 4 months ago and cant even have my toilet fixed in a timely matter, !!! This place is a joke everything in my apartment looks used, big hole in the wall right when you first walk in from maintenance cutting around electrical box and there being a previous hole in the wall for it to fall through with a touch. Toilets been messed up since I moved here three months ago, always smells disgusting been a leak in the hallway with a bucket sitting there catching the rusty water for three months since I moved as well ! No upgraded cabinets looks like they couldnt even sand the edges, all jagged to where my children cant touch they will get cut by the wood. Underneath my since smells like mold and isnt even a flat surface from previous tenants or probably maintenance not fixing the leak and it setting into the wood. And dont get me started on the carpets that are brand new with paint on them and holes and big shoe prints everywhere ! Cant wait to move. Cant even put my kids on the elevator because people openly smoke whenever and wherever theyd like !!!!!

Horrible place. Dont waste your money here. Management just got arrested for only god knows what. My best friend lived here and there was a shooting right above her apartment and constant fighting in the same apartment. Both elevators were broken at the same time, preventing elders and handicap people from taking the elevator.it smells like weed in the hallways and most of the rooms so I bet you dont want to live with drug addicts and drug dealers.

I lived in this place for a year and always paid my rent on time. Around July I was contacted about my rent from March that was supposedly missing. I have a bank statement to prove I pulled the money out, but that wasnt enough for them. They still threatened me into paying it, even knowing that the previous manager there was the one who stole the money order and wrote it out to herself. She even stole part of the money order from July, though I still had the receipt to give them so they could see where the money went. After a couple days we asked them if they heard anything from looking into that money order, and we were told corporate is looking into it. However, days later I received a call at work, asking me to bring another copy of the receipt, and I told them Id have my fiancee bring it down later. By the time she brought it down that day, she was very short with her, saying Ive been asking for this all day, then proceeded to say they would be sending it to corporate, even though they said they were already looking into it. I paid the money from March again just because they threatened us into it by saying they would begin the eviction process if we didnt. (Even though we had paid every other month of rent since then). When turning our keys in, they even asked us to write them a more favorable review. Im fairly certain thats where most of the recent positive reviews came from. Its been almost 3 months since we have moved out, and couldnt be happier to be out of there. They havent even given us our security deposit yet like they said we would have. But thats a small price to pay from having to deal with living in a place where they argue with you over ever requesting maintenance, rather than actually getting someone to help fix the problem. As for the person who referred to myself and many other people here who wrote negative reviews as ignorant, and probably owe this place money, try asking one of us about our cases. Id be happy to inform you fully of all the information you need to write a more accurate review. This may have not been the fault of current management, but that does not mean that the company isnt responsible for what their previous manager did.

I have to retract my previous review. Both elevators were down at the time I moved in, and I am on the 6th floor! I needed to rent the truck for an extra day. I asked management to reimburse me the cost, or to give me a discount on my December rent. I contacted Stacy Hill twice about this, and still have not received a response. It has been almost a month! I cannot recommend a place where management does not care about their residents!

This apartment sucks. My ceiling leaks every single time it rains. Every time. The only 2 elevators in the hurling are always broken or slow as ever. The people in the office are rude and not helpful. The fire alarms go off randomly for no reason. Only move here as a last choice

Horrible experience! I am usually an understanding person, but I wish I had done a little more research on this property. Dispite challenges that come with managing a property...dont mess over your good tenants. I took a job in another state and could not take my brand new furniture $1800 worth...so I gave it to the the leasing agents...at no cost! My apartment was cleaned with no damage... In return they would not return my security deposits.Good Luck future tenants...

I hate this place. A freind i go c at least 5 time a wk lives here. Front gate is always broke either touch pad dont work or it wont connect. Front door buzzer still doesnt work everyone has to wait forever for person they r visiting to b let in. And elevators r frequently broken down as well leaving ppl to hike up hundreds of stairs and have an asthma attack on the way. Its dirty and it stinks this place is ridiculous. I lived there 18 yrs ago when it was hunters West it was waaaaay better everything worked n it was clean new management and owners suck!!

I would give this place a zero rating if I could. People are pulling the alarms for no reason and its connected to the inside of our apartment. Its extremely loud and they dont take care of the problem for 2-3 hours. We have been through 3 different owners since we have been living here. The elevators are ALWAYS either down or skip your floor. The complex doesnt care at all about its tenants. I can go on and on. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Women in the office are dry & sometimes rude, especially over the phone. They rarely answer the phone too. The maintenance was slow, the building was always filthy & had odors in the hallways. My neighbors on the 4th floor werent too bad. Police hang outside/around the entrances all the time, especially in the summer. It may be cheap, but you get what you pay for. .

Previously wrote a review just before moving out, moved out at the end of August, and yet still no security deposit back, or anything stating that they used whatever money to repair anything there (which legally now they cannot do, after 30 days of moving out) also asked them numerous times about security deposit and tell me “corporate is looking into it” well, after 45 days of moving out, by law, security deposit gets doubled.

Horrible experience everytime I come here. There are currently four cars trying to get through the gate. Neither side works, and when you finally get to a building you have to wait for someone to come open the door because buzzers dont work. This is absolutely unacceptable.

If ur coming to the sky gate apartments ask for misty very polite professional and she got me approved in days!!! So far it’s nice quiet and clean!!!!!

Location is perfect; it’s just everything else that’s bad; some of the tenants just tear this place up and the decent tenants even up having to deal with the bs because management (whenever someone actually ends up keeping a job because they’re always replacing someone) and the owners refuse to keep the building up. maintenance does a p*ss poor job at everything...hallways and stairwells have horrible odors and are never mopped unless it’s with dirty water that they use from the front because that’s the only one they do; hallway carpets filthy and are heavily stained.apartments are somewhat decent besides the price tag of a“updated unit” eventually setting you up to be evicted” because of the cost;older units are worse off and neglected cheap painting materials will makeyou call maintenance with the hope of someone doing something about it but by the time they come your lease is up; trash bin is overflowing on the weekend due to whoever being on call not caring at all; good luck getting hot water everyday especially when it gets cold as well as the uncontrollable heat that is stuck on broil causing you to have a nose bleed or either being constantly sick from the old man winter draft blowing through the old windows;if that hasn’t reeled you in maybe the different types of bugs or mice you’ll begin to see; on to crime you’ll see plenty of drug deals and smell heavy scents of marijuana,plenty or domestic violence incidents,arguments,murders,shootings,car thefts,car break ins;oh the aroma of dog urine greeting you while you play hop scotch around dog poop all over the place on your morning commute and the security gate works when it wants..police can barely get in and they are here a lot; RESIDENTS FEEL FREE TO CHIME IN ON ANYTHING I LEFT OUT; THIS PLACE HAS BEEN RUN INTO THE GROUND...long time residents are moving out; people are barely moving in....CITY OF WESTLAND DO SOMETHING

IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I COULD. Worst place at doing business ever, period. I talked to Misty that I was interested in the apartment. Everything was great until I had found a better apartment located by my job and they would not give me my holding deposit back. Misty kept saying that she did not know why I wasnt getting my money back. I called several times and some guy told me it takes 30 business days just to return my $75.00 holding fee. Mind you I did this in February on the 11th and it is the 16th Of March today and I am just now getting my money. I am so disgusted with this place. I will never live here, ever. Or do business here ever again, period. They would take down my name and phone number and say they would tell her to call and never did. I kept asking to speak to Stacy and Misty kept saying she was not there, but when I told my best friend would call Misty would put her right on the phone. I thought this place was more professional than this.The only reason I have my money now is because I called and emailed and had to show up to the office in person as well, because they were really trying to keep my money. Then Misty tried to play me and said I did not pay all of it and so I would not get anything back. But I have screenshots and email conformations of my ALL receipts. So after I send them to her through email to show her I paid in full, she never emailed me back again. Because she know she was wrong. Do not tell me I did not pay something when I actually did and I have proof. When I went up to speak with them in person, I asked Misty why she did not respond to my emails and she said because she said she did not have an answer for me, which meant she knew she was wrong in the first place. Then the property manager Stacy was NO HELP at all, so unprofessional. I asked why it would take 30 business days because it just did not make any sense to me, it sounded so iffy to me and she kept saying I dont know, We are all new here. Just so many excuses to keep my money. I had to keep calling and calling because she said she would not call back and then when I would called her and its oh this broke or oh the phones arent working properly right now. She was just trying to ignore me because she told me my situation was a priority and it really was not because she never took that extra step to actually help me. She was saying more than she was doing. I had to take that extra step for her to even push to get my money back. They just do not care at that office and they are so unprofessional. I finally got my check after hounding them to give me back MY money. Worst leasing management office ever. I NEVER would have gotten my money if I wouldnt have stayed on top of it.

Most disgusting place I have ever lived. Horrible management, dirty common areas, bed bug extermination twice a week, untrustworthy maintenance. Cops there EVERYDAY. EVERYDAY. No matter how down and out, I assure you, you can find better for yourself and family.

I will be moving into Skygate Apartments I went through the application process with Misty, she was absolutely incredible the way she handle the entire process she was professional and went over and beyond to get me approved I would recommend if you looking for a place go over to Skygate in Westland, MI see Misty, she will definitely take care of you

They recently got new owners, they really seem to be making a lot of improvements! The only major problem this place had was the tenants, but they have been getting rid of the bad tenants and bringing nice families in. The staff has also gotten much better about fixing repairs. This place is headed in the right direction.

The management is horrible to start it off, and the owners nadeer group does not care and will not return a single phone call. Im not even one to write reviews but I had to for this place. ALOT is wrong with this place. Just move down the street where its better.

Stacey and Misty obvisiouly keep writing reviews to try to up the rating on this place...Ive been here for a couple years so ive seen just about seen everything....between Stacey and Misty this may be the worse Property manager/Leasing agent duo Ive seen since ive been here (because they change often)....Stacey is available when she feels like it and really cant run this place....its to much for her...Misty has the worst attitude period...if you looked up attitude on google she would be the results ALL OF THEM......this place is really messed up....living here you cant tell the difference between living on Greenfield and Puritan in Detroit.....The hot water is constantly going out all the time...hallways and stairwells arent cleaned period...entrances are disgusting and smell like dog urine and feces all day everyday...there is no upkeep at all here.....maintenance issues take a while to get fixed....i can say that this place has gotten worse from what it was.....Dont believe the Misty and Stacey hype....these apartments are a shack town high rise with a high price

Skygate Appartments Are The Worst Apartments In Westland Michigan, I Would Literally Rather Live Any Place But Here It’s Literally The Projects In The Suburbs. The Maintenance On The Building Is Terrible, The Work Orders You Request In your Home For Repairs Is On Sky Gate’s Time They Do It When The Feel Like It, They Will Let The Hallways Reek Of Garbage Before the building dispose of it, They Charge You For Opening The Door For Other Neighbors, Allow Animals, Will Also Purposely Lock Their Tenants Out Of The Building, and They Tow Cars Off The Lot Here If It Has Expired Plates Which Is Completely Out Of Pocket Because They Don’t Pay Any Finances On The Tenants Vehicles Here At All So What Place Do The Have To Put There Tenants In a More Financial Bind Then They Already Are . Their Staff in the office is disrespectful and stuck up but they always want they rent on time which is very shocking seeing the treatment the tenants get. The police is always here, it’s really no place of peace. Anybody That’s Looking For A New Residents This Is Not It and Im Giving The Honest To God Truth To Anybody Reading This Review. Nothing Has Improved In The 2 yrs of being here it’s only got worst, So in all honesty what does that tell u? This is definitely not a place to call home.

This place is a prison. I currently live here and cannot wait until the lease is up. You need a key for everything. You need a keyfob to get in the gate, you need a keyfob to get in the door, and if you noticed, it will soon be required to use the keyfob to get into the elevator. I lost my keyfob and it cost an extra $50 to get a replacement. They give no f$&@s here. The punk azz lady at the desk told me I had to get a money order just to get another keyfob. Its like they are against cash or something. I even left my car outside in the same parking spot for three days and they put a notice on it saying I had to move it. Oh yea and dont be a day late on making your payments. I was a whole day late paying my bill and they charged me the $75 late fee. Yes. $75. Like what type of place is this petty? This place. So come on down to skygate, where they have Radom fire alarm drills and terrible parking rules. Oh and maintenance? There IS NO MAINTENANCE!!! 😂
