Ive been living here 7yrs!! Great place to stay depending on whose your neighbor TBH. Maintenance man Chopper is A1 he gets things done all by himself fast. Neighborhood is good but new people have moved in dont keep up their yards or take THEIR trash out ON time. Tammy is a great landlord and very patient lady. We are responsible for cutting our own grass. Tammy retired so new landlord in office now

I have lived here going on 4yrs..I live close to Glenwood on Ackley..My daughter go to Wayne Westland skill center..so we have to stay in the district.I have not had any problems living here..and my neighbors are great..and we help out each other with lawn mowing and snow shoveling...I never had a problem getting anything fix if needed. Landlord always taken care of things...For the rent we pay.As for drug addicts and theif...its everywhere..Grass isnt greener on either side..Police are always up and down Ackley...watching High School and those who speed down the street..Other than that..I wish you a blessed day.God bless you ..maybe this year be a better one

They charge u 25$ fines for every little thing, say if u have a wagon in your yard. The people who try to keep it nice follow the rules but the drug dealers and addicts have taken over. Also the scum of Detroit is all moving in here. I will be out within 6 months. Nobody is neighborly here, theres alot of break ins and car break ins and thefts. Ackley St is worse than Stieber and Stieber is BAD. You have one house that does nothing but party all hours of the night so nobody gets any sleep. Another house with a ghetto welfare mom with 8 kids who she doesnt watch and run all over the street cussin breaking peoples windows throwing rocks at cars. Theres 2 dope houses on Stieber, just on my block that I know about. The police dont even want to come here. It was beautiful when I moved in 3 Years ago, but has went so far downhill, it will never come back up. Its just ONE landlord who rents to nothing but scum and I do mean SCUM. Everyone good is moving. My daughters bike has been stolen from here twice already. There are rats the size of cats here. Unless you are going to be homeless and have nowhere else to go, DO NOT MOVE HERE.
