I had the most amazing experience when I went to see Allison. I was transitioning my gray hair. Everyday I would look in the mirror and question whether I should continue to let my gray hair grow out. I decided that perhaps if I attempted to get my hair styled with hi lights and low lights the transition would not beso stark. I was still a little apprehensive about the whole procedure. Allison started doing my hair and she was a dynamo. She worked so hard to ensure that I would be happy with the results. I have thick wavy hair and struggle to find a stylist who can manage my unwieldly mane and tell me no when my idea of a haircut wont work. I have found a home with Ingrid, from color to cut to finishing she knows her hair and I can guarantee shell get it right. Shes the only one I trust right now.

Sam is the very best! I am a brunette and have had horror stories happen to my hair living in Arizona. It has gotten so bad that I now travel just to have Sams amazing work. She listens to what you want and gets it exactly right. She is a perfectionist and that is what I value in a hairdresser. She is also such a cute person and so fun to talk to! My color lasts and I have not loved my hair this much in years.

I started going to The Canyon Salon almost 3 years ago and I have to say Jasmine is AMAZING. My hair has never looked better or been more healthy, she always recommends the right thing from by Brazilian blow out to my color. Ever since I started going here I wont let anyone else touch my hair.Also, the salon is always super clean and modern, the staff is super friendly and although it can be a little pricy it is absolutely worth it!

Melissa works miracles. I have very fine long hair. It is, or at least it WAS until I met Melissa, impossible to hold a curl. It was my wedding day and I told her I wanted beachy waves. I thought this would be an impossible request, as it had been every other time I have asked for this look at a hair salon, but she proved me wrong! Not to mention, my wedding was at the beach which is typically an ideal atmosphere for my hair to fall flat. But that didnt happen, whatever Melissa did worked. Thank you, Melissa, for making my hair look exactly as I hoped for my wedding day!

Soooo...I don’t know what kind of hair-sorcery Alex Corso practices, but ever since I saw her, I’ve been able to brush through my curly hair with virtually 0 tangles in about 2 mins flat (whereas before it would normally take upwards of 15 mins and would HURT like crazy with all of the tangles - oof). And it looks just as great wash-and-wear as it does styled, which is VERY hard to achieve with my hair.Alex did an awesome job taming a particularly challenging head of hair, and I’m super happy to have found her and this salon!! Def coming back for another appointment next time I need one!!

Traumatic! I tried this salon based on the reviews and location. Upon calling I told the receptionist how nervous I was to try someone new bc I just got my hair to the length I wanted( to my shoulders)but desperately needed a trim. Mothers Day and my daughters promotion were coming up. They suggested Ingrid. Ingrid cut my hair and blew it dry. I was a bit worried having watched her but my hair was still there so .... Well after cutting and blow drying my hair she literally cut a section 3 inches shorter than anywhere else, now nearly chin length again! The back was still the length I wanted and one side but the other side was gone. I still am in shock that this happened. She took no responsibility and tried to explain her way out of it. The owner must have been in shock herself. I know the manager was. The salon owner handled it as best she could. Id go back and use this salon again based on the owner, manager and stylist that fixed this disaster. Of course I wont as I am terrified of seeing Ingrid ever again. It was either intentional or she had some moment In which her hand was not in control of itself.

Britnany Hodgins/Boskinch is the absolute best with blondes. I have been to dozens of salons in this area and have finally met perfection and consistency altogether. She is also famous for her extensions. Hands down the best.You won’t be disappointed.

So I got my hair done by Samantha and I actually loved her work. However I was super disappointed when I scheduled a touch up appointment and she re scheduled me because she booked a wedding last minute. I re scheduled after that and right before my next appointment ( btw I drive out from ojai) they called and said she was running 45 min late. So I had to stop to get coffee and find something to kill time since I had already driven out there. And then they called me back and said she had to re schedule all together. I was very upset since I was rescheduled, then pushed back and then canceled on and I didn’t even receive a phone call or message or anything apologizing. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate and definitely will not be returning.

It was my first time here, I was recommended by a friend from work. I found the place pretty easily, the all black glass tint was pretty cool. And once I walked in was greeted and felt very welcomed.First impression: Wow, this salon is gorgeous! As a guy who just wants a cheap haircut, I was a bit weary of the price. But not to be frighten at all! They had huge mirrors, fancy leather chairs, spacious flooring, great air conditioning and amazing lighting. I was blown away.Now as a guy who is used to getting his haircuts at Great Cuts or Speedy Clips, whatever their called, this was very intimidating. This was my first time going to an actual salon/ hair stylist. The receptionist set me up with Stephanie Febres, she was very easy going, easy to talk to. I talked to her about sports, NFL and NBA. She was pretty knowledgeable, something I wasn’t expecting. Something I look for in a barber is someone who I can talk to. I remember when I was a kid my dad would go take me to his barber and they would talk about drinking, cigars, sports and be very manly men. Ever since I’ve moved out I have never been able to find a barber to do that; odd enough, I found it in a salon.The Haircut:I don’t know too much about hair, I just told her I want my hair short, like Ryan Seacrest type hair ; just normal stuff. After washing my hair in a very luxurious tub, again, worrying about price, she began used a razor blade and just scissors. Most other places use that machine that just shaves off hair. I was kinda freaked out, but the cut looked amazing. It was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. It was a very natural looking cut and didn’t have that awkward look when you use a buzzer. She was done very quickly and the price was much more affordable than I thought it would be.So overall I was extremely happy with the cut, the price and the atmosphere. I would highly suggest allguys who want a great haircut at great price to give this place a call. Ask for Stephanie Febres andtell her Anthony Trinh recommended you. I’m sure all the other “hair stylist”, I’m calling her my barber,will do a great job – but if you want to have the same experience I had – I would highly recommend her.
