I was taken at my exact appointment time. Everything was done very safely and efficiently and I was very pleased with the service I received. Dr. Butensky and his staff were very skilled and friendly.
Dr. Butensky was absolutely wonderful with my two girls, ages 4 & 3. My oldest has a fear of the dentist & he immediately made her laugh with his fantastic bedside manner. He took time with them & made sure each girl knew what he was going to do exactly each step prior to examining - very important to them!!!!Dr. Dan answered ALL my MANY questions after the exam explaining each part carefully without rushing me.If you have children, and you’re as nervous taking them to the dentist as I was, I highly recommend you call Dr. Butensky!
Excellent as always
Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this dental office and this dentist.I have high anxiety and going to the dentist is never fun. There was a miscommunication on what I needed to have done. I was not prepared for what they had planned to do because I was under the impression that it was going to be something different. At the end of the day, it does not matter who is right, who is wrong, who knew what and who didn’t. When someone is crying in your chair, my advice to you Doc, would be pull up a chair. Not stare at them and say “I don’t understand what is going on.” It was an assumption that I had, that with your degrees, you could sense anxiety. You could sense fear. I was wrong.I am sorry, what don’t you understand? As I was expressing my very real, and valid fears, to the woman, she said “yeah that’s normally the reaction we have here.” An off the cuff remark that did not help in the moment.I apologize that I am not 3 years old but I can still have the same fears and deserve the same amount of bedside manner. Wouldn’t you agree?
