This is a fantastic dental office. They truly put their patients first. As an example today I showed up to my appointment 20 minutes early which interfered with lunch for the hygienists. But Vanessa the owner came out and got started on my appointment early so I didn’t have to wait at the office. I really feel like they are looking out for me as a patient you do not feel like a number here.

Phenomenal staff. Very clean facility. Small team made me feel very welcome and at home. Dr. Vanessa explained every step of the process and didn’t pressure me to have work done that wasn’t necessary at this time.

The Entire Dentist Staff is very Friendly but at the same time very COVID Conscious. DDS, Vanessa Cao did my Dental work. I felt she was very thorough and aware of areas in my mouth that would be more Sensitive to pain and performed the needed Dental Procedure accordingly. Also, Vanessa and The Smile Staff made sure I was comfortable, explaining to me all of the noises and things that take place at a Dentist Office and/or Your Procedure. I appreciate that, helped me to feel more calm during my visit.

I have been going to this practice since Dr. Lynn Monstwil owned it. The transition a while back to Dr. Cao and Dr. Abidin was perfection. You never really felt like anything changed. From the staff, to the cleanliness, to the professional equipment, to the friendliness & professionalism of the staff- it was like nothing had changed. I love this practice and after having some bad experiences in the past with other doctors who didn’t care to put me on a proper treatment plan, I would never refer anyone to any other practice, ever. They are experts and they treat you like family. They are better than 5 stars. I am a forever patient!

Nice people that take time to know you. I had to have an old filling refilled again and I didn’t even feel the shot that Dr Sean Abidin gave me to numb me. He explained everything he did before and as he did his work. He was quick and thorough. Dr. Cao has always taken the time to explained areas to watch and why they may become a problem. Attended kids day for my daughter and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We were even greeted by Dr Vanessa and she knew my daughters name right away! The theme was Trolls and it was super fun, playful and colorful for the kids. It instantly put my daughter at ease. Dr Vanessa and her staff were very accommodating and sweet to my daughter who was scared of the x ray. We ran on time and had a very positive experience.

Started going here for about a year now and we are extremely happy! All the hygienist are very friendly and do not cast guilt for not flossing enough. I was extremely impressed with my visit to see Dr. Cao. I came because I got something in the mail for a free whitening with a cleaning. I called and immediately was speaking to such a nice and accommodating receptionist, Vicky, who checked my insurance and scheduled me right away.My visit to the office was excellent.Dr. Cao and her hygienist (I think Bre) welcomed me in full Covid-19 PPE. The office is spacious and ventilated so I was not in the vicinity of anyone else. I was quickly welcomed back without a wait.In our appointment we started with some(free) baseline photos where Dr. Cao gave me a great virtual tour of my teeth and gums. I have x-rays provided once a year with my insurance so we next took those. Dr. Cao showed me any spots she was worried about and pointed out one spot she planned to check out further. She showed me some interesting findings with two of my roots - stuff that might be good to know later in life.After this she measured my gums to check for gum recession, explaining the process and what looks good and doesn’t, as well as providing explanations for reasons I could have more recession in some places that others. She also checked my lymph nodes around my throat and checked my tongue, which I often haven’t experienced at a dentist.After my cleaning she asked if I wanted to receive a recommended fluoride treatment. She explained that not all insurances cover it, but she told me the cost ($49) and said her policy was that if my insurance didn’t cover it she didn’t want cost to be a barrier for patients, so she had an office policy of subsidizing the cost to reduce the treatment to $15. I consented to receive the treatment - only paying $15 for a preventative treatment was definitely worth it to me if my insurance didn’t cover it, which as it turns out it didn’t. I appreciated that Dr. Cao explained this clearly and received my consent before proceeding, and I really appreciate her decision to subsidize costs to eliminate some part of the price barrier. What a wonderful statement to her patients!Dr. Cao did my cleaning herself and was efficient, professional, and kind throughout. At the end she sat down and asked me what other questions I had. Both Dr. Cao and the hygienist had my full attention the entire time they were with me.They also have a “kid’s day” twice a year where they decorate the office to make the dentist more welcoming and not scary for kids. A+!I walked away with a nice goody bag and a great chat with Vicky at reception while settling up.I was very impressed with Dr. Cao and her entireoffice. I felt comfortable the entire time and walked away feeling more knowledgeable and in control of my dental health. She even texted me afterwards (to which I had given consent) and said thank you for coming and wished me luck at my tonsillectomy coming up soon. I have never had this experience at the dentist, and I’ve been to some very kind dentists. Recently acquired dental insurance and decided to get set up with a new office. This was one of the highest rated places listed locally through the insurance site and had wonderful ratings. They managed to squeeze me into the schedule right away and were very attentive and patient focused. I appreciated their dedication to both dental work and customer service. Those two don’t always go hand in hand in dental offices, but I feel very confident about my new dentist!

Most people are afraid of going to the dentist and as a result their oral hygiene suffers. No matter what kind of need you have whether it be cosmetic or for health reasons, this is absolutely the place for you. From the moment you enter until the moment you leave, you are treated like you matter. Sounds strange I know but the dedication and care that each staff member gives regardless or clinical or clerical is unparallel. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with everyone and Dr. Cao. She made sure I understood everything that was being done but also said. Her staff was extremely professional but welcoming. I actually cant wait for my next appointment!

I’ve been going here for many years now. The dentist is certainly not my favorite place, but they make the experience as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Everyone is super friendly, they remember things like trips I’ve taken, and do whatever they can to put me at ease. I recently went in for some dental work and they offered me music, took several breaks in between, and a hot towel to refreshed afterwards. I would 100% recommend!

I always have a positive experience when I go to Dr. Montswils office. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. I believe everyone at the office values my time as I never have to wait long for any part of my appointment. The hygienists always make me feel comfortable and take the time to explain what is going on and why they are doing what they are doing. They are thorough with the cleaning, but gentle at the same time. You can even get a paraffin treatment for your hands during the cleaning-I love a little pampering!I have had such a good experience that I now bring my children to the office for Kids Day which they love. Kids can get their cleaning in a fun environment which makes a sometimes difficult experience easy for all of us!I love this office and highly recommend it!

Ive been going to the SMILE dentist office since I moved here 12 years ago, so I was excited for Dr Monstwils early retirement but sad I was losing a great dentist.I just met one of the new dentists, Dr Cao, and she was just as awesome! She even did my first cleaning, which was thoughtful. She wanted to get to know her patients. Its the same high quality care, same amazing staff. She kept me apprised of my current mouth health as well as what she was going to monitor.I highly recommend this office--its bright, cheerful, modern, and the staff are friendly, professional, and just awesome.

Updated Sept 2019 after seeing Dr Cao several times now that she and her husband acquired the business. Dr. Cao is great. You can tell she takes pride in her practice in everything she does—from how she treats the assistants (who are also great) to always making sure I am aware of the exact treatment I am receiving. What I specifically appreciate is that she goes out of her way to describe everything she is doing before she does it. I’m not particularly nervous at the dentist, but I think this is a great way to put patients at ease and it communicates to me that she really cares. She is also is 100% transparent about costs all the time, so I always feel like I’m making health decisions WITH her. Besides that, I appreciate her skill as a dentist; I have a filling on one of my front teeth from an old sports accident that sometimes shifts or looks off from the rest of the tooth—she’s been able to polish and clean it up and it looks great! She is younger and clearly knows all of the new technologies and methods, which I really like a lot too. Would recommend to anyone, young or old.

Today was mine and my husband’s first visit at Dr. Cao’s office and it was absolutely delightful. The office staff were very professional, yet very friendly. We felt at ease the moment we opened the door as the front desk gave us a warm greeting. We had a brief meet and greet with the paperwork completion and then met with the doctor. She was very attentive to our needs and made sure she addressed both of us for any personal issues we may be having in regards to our dental care. We then proceeded to our totally thorough exam, cleaning and xrays along with some great pics of our teeth. We can honestly say that has never happened before and we loved it. No stone goes unturned at this practice. From start to finish there is a plan and we just kept progressing through it. Our experience was one of a kind and if a dentist office scares you, you definitely need to give this office a try. You won’t be disappointed. We must conclude that we are a little sad we have to wait 6 months to see you all again. Keep up the fantastic work and effort in making us all happy. It truly shows!!!!! We even got a great gift bag full of all your dental needs. How can anyone resist that!!!!! Thank you Dr. Cao and thank you to each of your staff, even if we didn’t mention you by name.
