Miguel from First Response did a great job. He arrived timely and did all he had to do to make sure our AC is working again properly. Not sure about the pricing, though. $464.00 to install and test a new thermostat seems a bit pricy and I hope they dont adjust prices up first before giving you a 20% discount for having a service contract with them.

When our AC went out on Saturday late afternoon we were pretty sure we would be staying at my parents for the night. I found First Response / Hopkins AC through my own google search and only HOPED the reviews were based in reality! Turns out First Response is everything and more that got them the great reviews in the first place!!They scheduled us for a 7p-10p window and actually Chad (owner) called us to let us know their tech Ralph was available sooner and would be out in under an hour....(turned out to be 45 minutes!! Yes!! Really!!!)Ralph diagnosed the issue and a couple of items we were not aware of from our original brand new AC install just a few months prior from another company. He was able to get the ac going to hold off until the full repair could happen while the parts were ordered. I was most impressed by the level of communication and responsiveness from everyone involved. We had a significant amount of work to be done and we were kept informed by Rich from beginning to end. Rich scheduled his service team (Osmon and another team member) for between 8am-10am - They showed up just before 8am!! The service guys were efficient, extremely knowledgeable - addressed the issues - And actually left it cleaner than they found it. We are beyond appreciative of the fast response - and even more appreciative that it was addressed correctly and with Truly Exceptional customer service.

Living in Florida its always a panic when your A/C malfunctions, but First Response is always there to meet you cooling needs! Quick to answer on the phone, several other companies i tried before went to voicemail at 4pm. Came within 2 hours for an emergency leak, AC unit drain was clogged and leaking into my home. Repair tech was super friendly and professional! Stayed late until the job was done. Fair pricing.

Miguel is excellent in every way - technically skilled and meticulous about his work, friendly, polite and professional in demeanor. He contacted me when he was on his way and was actually able to come a little early, which worked well for me. He explained everything he did and with his attention to detail, he discovered a broken pipe and some incorrect wiring. He rinsed the salt and sand from my compressor’s interior and exterior to prolong the life of my unit, which is near the intracoastal. I’ve used several AC companies in my quest for the right system and company for me in this new (to me) condo. With First Response AC I have found the right company for me.

So happy to have found this company! My air conditioning stopped working last week. *Sigh* Luckily, the company sent Ralph who was beyond outstanding. He quickly diagnosed two problems. He could fix one on the spot, but he needed to order a part for the other problem. BUT, he was able to re-wire something so my air conditioner was operational while waiting for the part. *Phew!* He was skilled, honest and excellent at his job.

This is the most professional and responsive service I have ever used in South Florida. I have only been using this company less than a year and have had 3 service calls with the last one being a way to solve a problem I have had with the a/c system ever since I moved into the home. This company did an amazing job. We replaced all of the duct work and vents in our 40 year old house. This was a huge job. The workmen Osman and Yuniel were so professional and polite. Tech couldn’t of been nicer analyzed the problem saw he didn’t have the part and rushed to the part store before it closed and came back with the part and installed it all so I’d have Airconditioning that evening You can’t beat that service. I would recommend them to everyone.

Service was great. The guys that showed up were completely professional and efficient. Also very friendly. I had a similar issue about a year ago and whoever I used then was almost double the price and that company didnt even fix the problem correctly.First Response not only made the immediate fix that was needed, they also reworked the piping and sensors to how they should have been installed in the first place. Basically, they did double the work as the first AC company I called last year and it was almost half the cost.I have no doubt that my AC will be running perfectly for years to come.Thanks guys!!! When my ac failed I called the company that installed the system 4 years ago. I’ve done my own cleaning and maintenance so have not contacted them since. I called last Saturday 8/15/20. They had an excuse for not showing up on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. On Friday morning it was getting very hot and humid in my house so I panicked and called first response (found them on Google research). Nice lady says we can help you out. They sent Miguel about 5 hours after the call and he did the simple fix needed in about an hour.Awesome!

I moved in to a home recently and found a leak from my AC unit one evening. First Response scheduled me ASAP for service the next morning. Ralph arrived on time and immediately set to work clearing a clogged drain line. He did a thorough check of my AC unit and found it to be in good condition (much to my happiness). I asked about a maintenance contract and Ralph signed me up for a yearly contract on the spot which was very reasonably priced and will certainly give me peace of mind!

First visit the unit started working when the tech arrived. I had no problem with the tech accept for the fact that after i gave him a very good description of the problem he never checked the start stop cap for failure. After having to call back less then 48 hours later I discovered they are not a 24x7 service. I got the machine and 7 hours later I revived a call from the owner who said he could revisit the issue but not for several hours. The owners attitude about the entire incident was your typical I am a big shot owner and even after admitting that he himself has NO AC knowledge at all proceeded to be what I would describe as no less then pure dee rude. I am going with another company as I would not want to give one more penny to the rich obnoxious owner of this one. He owns several companies by the way....typical man who owns everything but knows nothing...especially customer service..

Very responsive and knowledgeable. Miguel arrived at my house within 2 hours of me calling. He was here for less than an hour and our A/C unit is working like new again.

Chuck and the team we’re awesome. Chuck helped me out during the hurricane when I was bringing my newborn son home. He got up immediately from doing personal things and was amazing. Amazing company I called them out on a Saturday to my 80-year-old father’s house after another contractor had told him he needed to replace the unit for $8000 the technician was very knowledgeable and figured out that it was only a part that cost A few hundred dollars.
