My daughter broke off a piece of the charger and it was stuck inside of the charging port. The female employee took the iPad in the back and came back after about a minute to tell me it has to be sent out to Apple for repair or replacement. It would cost me $249!!! I said ok,never mind and went to Bad Apple where the technician pull out the broken part in about 3 seconds! They didn’t even charged me for it. If you need any of your devices fixed this is NOT the place to go!

Dont buy anything with accidental damage protection and count on Geek Squad. Couldnt replace in store, had to charge extra to ship it to me, couldnt tell me proper claim procedure when I bought the phone, couldnt tell me they wouldnt do anything in store when I came in Friday night, had to come back Saturday morning for someone else to tell me they wouldnt do anything. The biggest scam in all of IT, and its even worse when it should just be a basic replacement on a cheap phone. The only redeeming quality is that the extremely poorly trained employees are friendly.

Do not buy a PC computer from Best buy. I bought the newest HP just over a year ago July 2018 did a software Windows 10 update and it crashed my drive. I have been a Mac user for 10 years but when my Mac mini 2007 became too old to update I decided to give an HP PC a try. After my drive crashed for just doing a Windows 10 update The geek squad told me that the PC computers they sell at Best buy are not the pure form of Windows 10. I ended up spending $70 for a new hard drive to be replaced in my HP PC computer. I honestly think they have a bad supply chain. I would go to a computer specific store for your next upgrade purchase.

The Geek Squad is not so helpful. Almost useless if you ask me and a waste of time. They need more experienced people! I wasted my time not once but twice with them. And both times it was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend them for anyone.

Fisher and Manadime were fantastic in helping me resolve an issue. I’ve boughten a large amount of my electronics from Best Buy. Whether it be a camera or laptop it’s always from Best Buy. Currently saving up for a new camera and it’ll surely come from Best Buy.

I dropped my Mac Air off and paid the diagnostics fee. Geek Squad mentioned that it would have to be shipped to headquarters and would take 2 weeks to hear something back. 2 weeks later I call and they cant find my computer. After more searching, my computer had been put on the wrong shelf at the store and was never sent. After actually shipping my device, they reported that it would costs over $1,100 to fix my Mac. I respectfully declined. I took my computer to Simply Mac and they fixed it in two days for $200. Never go to this Geek Squad, never!

I waited in line way longer than my scheduled appointment just for them to tell me that they would have to ship my computer to Kentucky to fix a $50 screen that they’re saying will cost $125-$250 as well as $85 to ship it to Kentucky and then added installation costs. Worst place to fix anything that’s not made by apple. Would never recommend to anyone. Terrible experience that left me feeling cheated.

Worst customer service ever. they told me to hold once they finally picked up after 20 minutes of being on hold and never picked up the phone again. do not call them.

They always fix my problems and I am happy to use my computer again.
