The hinge on my recently purchased Asus laptop broke and I needed it fixed ASAP. I was referred to Star-Tech. Had a diagnostic ran on my computer, we couldnt find or recreate the problem. But, unlike some other computer repair services, Kris didnt try to tell me something was wrong when it actually wasnt. He went step by step with me trying to figure out what might be happening and, when we couldnt figure it out, he gave me his ideas as to what it might have been, gave me a new power cord, (which was a culprit) and told me to give him a call if the problem persisted. Very professional manner, was able to help me even while his schedule was basically full. Would definitely recommend giving him a call.

Kris at Star-Tech is smart, professional and a really nice guy.When I had a broken laptop, I called a dozen places over the course of two days. One company called me back only to say We dont do that sort of thing! The other companies returned my calls over the next week. Star-Tech returned my call not just the SAME-DAY I called but within about 2 hours of first calling my laptop was at his shop.His rates are very reasonable, his knowledge is spot-on, and hes a really great guy. All three are awesome combinations in doing business with a local-businessman. My experience with Star-Tech was a lot better than the impersonal consultations with the larger companies who may, or may not, even fix my laptop.

These guys where able to fix my custom built pc, over the phone. I built and upgraded, pc in the past. I never have ran into issues until my recent project .
