I went in for a part today and was helped immediately and quickly. I brought in my PC to make sure it fit my motherboard and we were able to open it up right there and do it. Afterwards, he showed me pictures and videos of his amazing pc build and his custom made graphics card back plate! Once I get my 3080, Ill 100% be going back there for a custom designed back plate. If youre looking for a great and trustworthy place to get parts from or fix your computer, this is the place to go! Overall GREAT experience!

I want it known that they have worked on my computer at no charge to me after the initial charge to fix it. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE is very good. They are very prompt at getting it back to me as well. I am just so frustrated that it won’t stay running. I have been told by another company that the issue might be the age of my computer. I have had to take my computer in almost every time I try to get on it. I don’t get on it very often but when I do it will not open anything. They say it has to do with Microsoft updates. They have worked on it every time and not charged me. The problem is just so frustrating. They say it’s all because of Microsoft. While I appreciate them fixing it every time there has to be something that can be done to finally fix it or tell me it’s beyond help.UPDATE...This company went above and beyond trying to solve my computer issues. The owner has called me more than once since I posted this review to make sure my computer is still working. Every time he has assured me he is willing to work on it to make sure it is working at no cost to me on this issue. It will be my go to place when I have other issues with my relic of a computer.

I love this place! The owner did what was best for me and my computer and didn’t try to rip me off by selling me a new one. He also is kind and explains things about computers in a way I can explain. I won’t go anywhere else!

Beyond impressed with its services. They were able to diagnose my PC pretty quickly which my IT friends and internet could not. My PC worked well and running. I was hesitant about computer repair stores in general as my IT major friend warned about hidden fees or tampering by replacing with parts without approval. Ramon made sure that I approved all repairs before he performed the repairs. I seriously can not praise them enough. I am working from home due to Covid-19 and need to utilize both my laptop and desktop. My desktop failed during a Microsoft update that conflicted with the temp files folder and within one day they had it fixed.I will be going back there for all future repairs and I am in the market for a rugged tablet so if they get one in I will buy from them. I recently flew to Utah from Illinois to visit my friends and build them a new computer. While building the new computer, I realized I was missing the fan screws for AIO liquid cooler and was unable to complete the build. I quickly searched for local computer shops and found Rios Computer Design.They were extremely friendly and very helpful! Ramon went out of his way to help me complete my build. Even though they didnt sell the specific screws I needed for my build, Ramon took the screws off his own AIO liquid cooler from his personal computer so I could complete my build! I was able to complete the build before flying back to Illinois and my friends have a new freshly built PC thanks to Ramon. They saved the day!I highly recommend RCD. Its a great shop run by great people!

He is amazing! Bought a laptop from a pawn shop and took it in to Rio. He opened it up and checked to make sure it worked okay free of charge. He found something that needed replacing and did it for a super low price. Great at answering any questions you may have. Doesnt try to upsell or make up things that need to be replaced. 10/10 would reccomend.

I accidentally walked into the store one day looking for a laptop started talking to him a little bit and found out this place is a great place with a great owner. My home computer started having problems I knew exactly where to take it so I took it to Rios Computers He suggested that I put a solid-state drive in my old computer I took his suggestion boy am I ever glad I did man my computer is the fastest it’s ever been even when it was first brand new. I started having speaker issues with the same computer I took it into him he looked at it diagnosed it told me what I needed to do free of charge I took a suggestion and it’s awesome if you’re looking for a great place for computer work or to even buy a computer look no further than Rios computer . They are honest reliable and always there you can even call him and he will spend time on the phone with you to help you with your computer problems they are awesome .

Our computer just died one morning. It was awful. I had our whole lives on there, and stupidly, I hadnt been making a habit of backing things up. We took our Mac to the nearest computer repair place and learned pretty quickly what a mistake it is to choose convenience over quality. After three weeks they told us they couldnt recover anything. The hard drive was just too damaged. I cried. And then, I thought, Id take a stab in the dark and try this little store an hour away that had fantastic reviews. I dropped off the damaged hard drive on a Friday evening, and Ramon had it recovered ALL my photos, videos, and documents by Saturday afternoon. I seriously almost kissed him. And I would have paid 5x what he charged. Excellent service for a great price. Im sending everyone I know there.

I took in the monitor, and within ten minutes he had everything working and back in place. He also gave me advice on how to troubleshoot a flickering Surface Pro Screen I had at home. Oh my GOSH!!!! SAME DAY SERVICE WITH A SMILE!!! I called the computer repair store that was in Sandy. The phone was answered by the company that bought them out. The Sandy company had some bad reviews so I was sceptical until I heard the friendly voice on the other end of the phone. WOW. This was a Saturday at about 2pm and he told me to go ahead and bring in my PC. He completed the job that day and was the best price I had ever seen, He also has refurbished units there if you need anything else. If you don;t take your computer here you are doing yourself a disservice. HE is awesome and knows what he is doing.

Came in, had some trouble turning on my computer that I assembled myself. He took it apart, cleaned it, replaced the thermal paste. Answered all my questions and fixed all the little problems with it that I had. It cost more then I was hoping but about what I expected. Overall I am really happy with the service and plan to go here every time I have a problem

I decided to give Rios Computer Designs a shot after some recent computer troubles. Unfortunately I took my computer to Best Buy first and paid over $100 just for a diagnostic, which ended up being wrong. Ramon was extremely knowledgable and took the time to check my pc out on the spot and told me exactly what was wrong. Mr. Rios took the time to explain the issue to me and gave me a few options on how to resolve it. He was up front and honest with me during all of our interactions. He was extremely quick to return my calls and explain what was going on. My pc is now running great and they have a customer for life. I will not pretend to be someone who spends thousands of dollars a year on my computer, but I have recommended this business to friends, co-workers and family and i hope they will continue to thrive and serve our community. They told me they were selling me the best custom built pc they had, however; everything that could go wrong with it, has. Customer service is pretty good though.

You will not be disappointed for coming here! After going to another 5-star-rated computer repair shop and receiving mediocre service, I was hesitant...but Ramons service and professionalism blew me away. I came kind of close to closing, but he stayed a half hour late just to diagnose my computer and call me to let me know what was wrong! Then he gave an estimate on price and time of arrival for the part and said he would call me. He called me a day earlier than planned to let me know the computer was already fixed! My Wifi card had to be replaced, but some of the wires had also been damaged. Ramon explained to me what was damaged, showed me how it weakened my network connection, and even opened up the computer to literally show me what he was talking about. He told me about the cost and risks of fixing the wires and suggested a possible alternative option he could provide that would be cheaper and much less of a risk. My network problems are now fixed, and I will coming back if I ever have a problem again!
