Called and set a appointment to have my carburetor tuned and the timing done. Earliest they could get to it was two weeks out. I waited to two weeks and dropped the truck off. Was asked if I could reschedule seeing he was busy. I told him it was my daily driver and I waited two weeks for my appointment. He told me to leave it and he would get to it. I left the truck and never heard back from then. Around 530 I went over to see what was going on. Good thing I did. They were locking up shop not even a call to me to let me know what was going on. Asked if they got to the truck and was told no I would have to leave it. Seeing thr truck is my daily driver I could not leave it. Told him that is why I set the appointment. He said the appointment is only to drop off the truck. Told him I would find someone else to do the work. He said good luck that he is the only one who does carburetors in the valley and I would be back. I would am taking my stuff to Jamco. Hopefully things will be better. Would not recommend. Find someone to take your stuff to. Your only as good as your word and you have lost yours.

Justin and his team are great. Straightforward and honest. I dont think he recommended any unnecessary work and they did a really good job. The only problem with being as good as they are is they are busy and have a hard time keeping up and communicating regularly. The repair took longer than I hoped but the overall experience was great and well be back!

Moving a performance engine to Utah from sea level really drives home the affects of static air pressure on carbureted engines. The rejet and adjustment was fast work for these pros, versus what would have been a two day trial and error for yours truly. Most of all, I’m happy to report that my girl PULLS as fast as ever.

I brought in my 1978 Spectra Jet Boat that I hadnt used for 4 years due to several issues. I tried to find a shop that could fix the issue and finally came across CarbMaster. What a good group of dudes! I found CARBMASTER looking for someone to work on a specialty engine in need of some carb adjustment. Very prompt and great service! My F-150 had an engine problem that not even Ford dealership could figure out. I took it to Carbmaster and Justin was able to tell me right away what the exact problem was. This shop has quickly become my go to for any issue Im having with my truck. Ive taken it in for quite a few issues, oxygen sensors, oil pressure gauges, among a few other things, and Justin, the owner, has been a very honest and trustworthy guy for each repair. Justin is one of the most honest mechanics Ive ever dealt with. My brake sensor module went out causing my car to jerk hard when accelerating. He got me in and back on the road within a few hours . Will be back with all my automotive needs ( hopefully not to soon though)

If I could give a zero star to this guy I would, he was very rude and abrupt when asked a simple question about taking apart my 1970 Plymouth carburetor. Its not like I was taking his next meal off his table it was two seconds to describe the one bolt I was missing. If you can find anywhere else in the entire valley definitely use them. I was hopeful that this would be a good shop to visit since its close to my home but now Im going to great lengths to make sure no one else patronizes this business. I understand people are in business to make a dollar, and I would have happily referred multiple friends and family to his business, but this guys attitude has definitely changed that.

It was a great experience because they fixed my windshield wipers when I needed before the snow storm hit. Plus they did a great job no problem.

We were traveling through on our way home to Colorado and we were having an intermitten problem with our Pathfinder. Justin took time to check for error codes, made sure everything was secure at no charge since he couldnt unfortunately mimic the problem. Thats what happens when you drive around in a computer, lol. These guys are phenomenal!! Brought my 78 Lincoln in after I rebuilt the Holley 4bbl and I needed them to tune it. Needless to say, my 32 year gap from the last time I rebuilt a carb showed but they dialed her right in. My baby drove home better than she has in quite a while. I chose this location because it was close to my home.PROS: The work was done in a timely manner. I was able to pick up my vehicle within 3 days. Everything that needed fixed was fixed. The check engine light and coolant light are no longer on. The door closes better then it did before. Everything has been running smoothly since I picked up 2 weeks ago.CONS: I feel like I got nickel & dimed to death. Every little thing he could charge for I got charged for. I was bringing it to him to have the emissions problem fixed and had already paid for the service elsewhere. But was charged for it again there. Charged for some systems check also (dont know how thats different then the emissions. I was also charged for topping off my coolant. Charged for test driving my vehicle, charged for putting gas in it, etc. When I asked if he could offer a military discount (Im active military) I was given an abrupt no. I guess some people just dont love America ;)

Shocked. Stopped here for the good reviews . I told him what the code was reading for the check engine light being onon a he chucked and told me hed have his own guy do the diaog. He took all my info then asked me to sign for $120. I asked if we did the repairs here if there would be a discount on that charge, since 1) I already know what Im looking for and 2) EVERY time Ive ever had a diagnostic run theyve either significantly discounted the fee or waived it entirely.He LAUGHED at me .And said, yeah Im here to make money, so....Literally the first time in my life Ive ever walked out because of customer service. Ill never be back and Ill be sure to let everyone know what to expect .**Got a message saying we need to have a serious chat about about exactly what direction we need to go on this ... Not sure what kinda of veiled threat that is... Like take me to a lawyer? Blacklist me from mechanics in town? And then hassling me about asking for discounts...The fact that out of this you got something about discounts highlights the problem mentioned above: your first thought is money, not service. I left cause you laughed at me twice when I tried to tell you about things from my perspective. Next time try fitting what you want to sell me inside of what I want to buy.And dont call me again .
