Picking up my car from the towe yard, giving me back much more than I expected once they found out my car was destroyed. And for that I am very grateful 🙏

Worst customer service Ive ever recieved. Ive been a policy holder/customer for x amount of years and pay over $400 a month!Had to call a few times over this same accident with the adjusters not even logging that I call. Now Ive been waiting on a call for over three weeks after being told Id get one in a couple days.What do I even pay you guys $403 a month if you cant help with my claim or call back after telling me id get a call. (After 3 prior calls that never got logged)

Every time I contact them in regards to another inquiry the staff personnel tries to sell me renter’s insurance and will persist and persist. One lady was very passive aggressive with me when I did decline. After struggling with operating the app to update my billing, I was in contact to update billing and was told everything was good to go along with my payment. Following that, I got a text message warning that my policy would be canceled if I didn’t make a payment. Which I already did?? Come to find out the lady didn’t authorize my transaction for the month. I paid everything manually, then got another email for a cancellation policy notice that they are mailing to me. Excuse me?? I’ve been doing my part and I’m very frustrated. If you can find a cheaper claim, go with someone else. I’m still currently waiting to talk to a representative and have been on hold for 25 minutes.

I called to ask about billing.The lady that answered didn’t even let me finish before she transferred me.I was on hold for an hour.I called the office again and I explained to her that I needed a number and she kept cutting me off and still transferred me.Their is no reason to be unprofessional and rude.Utah has the most unprofessional services I have ever used. I called another office outside of Utah and guess what. The most professional service I have had and listened to what I asked without being cut off and got a number for billing.It takes 0 effort to be kind.😊

So impressed with GEICO. For those out there that are only using price considerations when choosing an insurance policy- keep in mind that all insurance companies are NOT created equally. You get what you pay for.My daughter had a serious accident in my wifes car the day before Thanksgiving last year. GEICO was absolutely amazing- right when we needed them the most. Our single point of contact at GEICO was Bianca Guerrero and she was fantastic to work with. We did not feel like another number to be processed- we were treated like human beings in the middle of a crisis. We could not have been more pleased with our experience.Beware the fly by night super cheap insurance companies that offer too good to be true rates. The smart move is choosing a large, established and client focused company. Youll be happy that you did when you actually need to make a claim.

I am completely shocked at the treatment I am receiving from one of the agents. My fathers car was hit last week and whoever hit him took off, so we called to make a claim and the agent called yesterday to take my dads statement. I have never worked with somebody more unprofessional. She was on the phone for over an hour taking his statement the whole time pressing him with questions treating him like he was on trial. She asked us where we get our money that he uses to pay for things at the stores and also asked for bank statements from almost 2 months ago which have nothing to do with the accident last week. I am researching new insurance companies, I so frustrated and upset. I will not be recommending Geico to anybody if this is not resolved.

Ive been with them for a few years. Recently i wanted to insure my new car with them but i also went to other companies to shop the rates. Turned out that Geico put my hit-and-run incident where i was a victim as My fault instead of Non fault, however, they deny that. And they sent this data to the general consumer database which is a huge pain to fix. So then i decided to just stay with Geico to keep it simple but my online application got denied. They said I need to complete a paper application (which is a hustle), i did that, but then they told me 2 weeks later that it was somehow incomplete and i need to do it all over again. Didnt even say what was incomplete. Anyway, the most horrible experience. They screwed up my record so no other company gives me a reasonable quote, and they don;t do it either.

When I first got Geico this year for my wife’s car we had a lean on the vehicle and called Geico for insurance. While I was setting it up I asked for full coverage due to us having a loan on the car and the bank required full coverage. Finding out 4 months later when my wife hit a pole the insurance agent didn’t add collision to my policy. Finding this out I asked why they didn’t and they assigned me to an agent to look into this. The agent would tell me he would call me back in 2-3 day and wouldn’t call me for a month and I would call after 4 days to see and I would just go to voice mail. After 3 months of this happening he told me that because I hadn’t attempted to add collision there isn’t anything he could do to help us and that the insurance agent must have made a mistake setting up the policy but because I hadn’t read the 32 page packet they sent me about not having collision on the claim they wouldn’t help pay for the damage to our car.

We were in an accident caused by an uninsured driver last year, and Geico (our insurance company) was SO easy to work with. We got the checks for our car seat and totaled car quickly, they paid the chiropractor directly, and I felt like they were fair with the car price. Getting in an accident sucks, and I really appreciated being dealt fairly with when we were having to go through the car buying/ fixing my back process.

GEICO gave me a great rate but then it had an email that didnt offer what it claimed.It said this: Weve automatically spread out your past due amount (due to COVID-19) over the next three months ... If youre unable to make your payments, please contact us to discuss your options for one of our special payment plans.So its clear, as a GEICO agent didnt contend, that there were special payment plans offered even after the past due amount has been spread out. But then GEICO didnt offer those special payment plans as it claimed it would in the email.Also, at least one customer service representative just likes to hear himself talk. Or he was avoiding sending me to the manager, as I requested. Either way, it was abysmal, terrible customer service.Also, GEICO hangs up when you are on hold to speak with someone.

I was in an accident in OCTOBER and the driver at fault was covered with geico. It’s now JUNE and I’m still getting letters that they are still working to get information to settle the claimUnbelievable that it could possibly take that long especially when they acknowledged right at the beginning their driver was at fault. I called the number on the renters insurance and had to wait 25 min. only to find out that they were going to transfer me to another department and then disconnected me!

Hello all, Geico was nice enough to give us a 15% “KickBack” and then they raise our rates. I have auto, motorcycle and Home. No loyalty reward what so ever. Just an increase in rates. So our 15% really didn’t work for the Consumer just Geico. But it looks GREAT on tv that Geico gave back 15%. Happy shopping everyone. )”

GEICO INSURANCE IS GARBAGE! I had it at one time got rear-ended, by someone who might not of had insurance. Thats okay though I bought the in and insured motorist protection. This was okay until GEICO realized I was going to use this. They then began to harass her and try to sting arm her into a GEICO approved body shop which was in a sketchy part of town and didnt use Dodge parts. Turns out the guy that hit me was in fact covered and I didnt need to use the uninsured motorist protection, but I was so irritated I dropped GEICO.

Not only was Geicos quote one of the highest Ive ever received, but they are also extremely annoying. They are constantly emailing and calling me almost every day. I have filed a claim and have not had a satisfactory settlement. Adjusters do not contact me, money sent was insufficient to cover costs of damage. I will bet if I send only partial monthly payment to geico they would consider that unacceptable or cancel my coverage.

I am at work so I do not pick up the phone.They dont leave a voicemail.I was looking for a insurance quote over a month ago. They didnt get in touch with me in a timely fashion and lost me as a potential customer. I am not upset with that, I was using online quoting systems.Stop calling. My girlfriend and I went camping over the weekend and had a great trip. My car was doing great no problems whatsoever all weekend. That was until we where heading home. My car just crapped out on me without and warning or lights on the dash. We where still two and half hours away with about 200$ between us.Long story short I called Geico and told them I needed road side assistance. Took the truck a bit to get to us. Mainly because the directions they gave the driver where 30 miles off. But when that happened they bumped the coverage from 130 miles to 166!! We only ended up having to pay 70$ with tip to get her back home, which was about 180 miles. Great experience on both ends. Big shout out to James at Central Utah Towing and Recovery and their great service.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. I have never encountered a less compassionate, caring, or helpful company. Ever. They are inexpensive for a reason. You get what you pay for. If youre considering an insurance company, pay a few extra dollars for better customer service. Even if youre a safe driver. Accidents still always happen, and you dont want them representing you when they do. Wether its your fault or not, they do not look out for your best interests. They only look after themselves. They dont care about their customers.

Have been a customer for this guys for YEARS! The one time we needed to file a claim they told us my wifes car wasnt covered for the damage due to a miscommunication upon setting up our policies. They then proceeded to tell us there was absolutely nothing theyd do to resolve the issue all while customer care was sarcastic and rude. I have always heard good things about Geico but was nervous that if we got our insurance through a major company like Geico, maybe the customer service wouldn’t be what we need. I am so glad that wasn’t the case. And I really believe that the customer service is so good because of these local agents in the SLC area. Anytime I have had a question or needed help, it is so easy to speak to someone fast and every time it has been with someone very helpful. It’s great to have one of The big boys as your insurance provider but with the local touch that cares. The price can’t be beat and the customer service is fantastic!

I was with Geico for 11 years, I have a perfect driving record, no accidents, no tickets all while I was with them and then out of the blue they DOUBLED my cost for coverage simply because I live in a city that is growing rapidly, and not due to my personal driving record. My cost should have decreased if anything. Needless to say will never do business with them again, and encourage everyone to enjoy their commercials but stay away from giving them a cent!

Theres a reason why they tell everyone they can save money on car insurance if they switch to Geico because they pretty much do anything to help anyone so they can protect the companys bottom line and save a lot of money because they do absolutely nothing in return for you. They really dont save you that much money. Spend a little extra per month for a reputable insurance company that is there for you when they need you. Please please do not use this insurance company as your provider. The more people who look at reviews and do not decide to use companies like this force them to start taking care of the customers to protect their bottom line. Its called capitalism.

Ive reported to them an address changed 3 years ago. In fact, I have also purchased their renters insurance which has my new adress. When I asked for a refund because my current residence has lesser rates, they wouldnt give me a refund for 3 years. They said that it was my fault for not reporting this new address. When, in fact, they have a record of me purchasing their renters insurance which has my current address. Horrible service!!!. They would not take responsibility for their incompetence. Had it been the reverse, Im sure theyll ask me to back pay them.

I started a policy and 6 months later added an additional driver. When I went to remove the driver because they werent paying their bill, Geico would not let me because they had added them as a co-owner to MY policy without my knowledge or permission! I now have to start a brand new policy. The lady I spoke with would not stop talking and interrupting me long enough for me to say a full sentence. It was an incredibly frustrating experience and I would not recommend.

Most dishonest evil company Ive ever dealt with! They make Comcast look good!They quote you a price to bait you in and a month later it goes up because they claim their underwriters determined you fall in a different risk category! Ive never even had a fix it ticket! Perfect driving record for 15 years but apparently somehow Im high risk? That risk new category jumped the price $350 more a month on my new car!Their billing tactics are also shady! They charged 3 months up front saying new customer down payment requirements only for me to find out it was the guy boosting his commission! When I demanded they refund the in advance months they refused even after I canceled and the months never used! I had to dispute the charge with my bank!On top of that they make you do auto pay or they bill you $60 more a month or make you pay all at once!Seriously a shady company who is dishonest!

Pretty low cost but quite the rip off and a waste of my money, let me explain.Ive paid $60 a month for 6 years now. I slipped on some black ice on a round about and bent the cars arm and shock. I paid cash for the $1000 repair. I then call up Geico registering the accident and asking how much its going to cost me. I went through 4 departments before I got to a person that could answer the cost question. As it was my fault that I lost control of the car, the result was a $200 fee and my monthly rate would go up by $28 a month for 3 years. So this insurance that costs me $60 a month would take a $1000 repair and charge me $1200, crazy and a complete waste of my money. That is the most expensive loan program Ive ever heard of, I can get a lower rate at any payday loan center!!At least it feels nice thinking Im covered in case of an accident.

If I could give this insurance no points I would. A drunk driver (their client) took out our property line fence. It ruined the whole fence because it is based on tension in order to work. Geico would only pay for 1/3 of the fence saying that if we would not take their settlement we would have to go through our own homeowner’s policy. No redress no discussion. Our insurance company could come after them was their response. That means our rates will go up because of this drunk and his crummy Geico policy.

Too expensive, especially for two cars. One of which isnt driven much and sits in the driveway 90% of the time. My premiums kept going up without any accidents or tickets.My husband lost his job and I had to turn in a couple of late payments. The last was sent in a day before being cut off. All I needed was the post mark. I even sent it in the pink envelope which should have been an indication to keep the envelope for records. Showing it had been post marked before due date.Geico didnt care. Ive been with them for six years, 6 YEARS and they couldnt hold on to a pink envelope or verify the postmark before discarding it? Thats their cue...They use a pink envelope to signal a time sensitive situation, but still they discarded the envelope that held proof of the post mark!!! So they discontinued my insurance. That last check caught me up and should have kept me going for another month.Six years!!! I even called to verify they received the check but the new agent didnt tell me she cancelled my policy while I was on the phone with her. Instead she led me to believe I was still current and sent me a check in the mail with a cancellation notice!Bad business practices! Very unprofessional behavior to lead me to believe I was still covered on both vehicles. It took them a month to send the letter and check to me. Ive been driving without insurance believing I had coverage. No excuse!

Great customer service. Our homeowners insurance provider was sold to another company, who increased our premiums over $200. I called these guys to get it straightened out and within less than an hour, we had cheaper (and better) coverage and they are working with my mortgage company to get everything else straightened out! Worst criminals ever! GEICO automatically re-enrolled me in a plan without my consent even though I was already insured by another company (which is illegal) then stole $460 from my account!! They dont even deserve 1 star to be honest. One of their insured drivers made a U-turn right in front of us and what should have been taken care of within a few weeks tops is currently taking over a month and still on-going. They have made it the *biggest* hassle for us to get our car fixed. It would have been better for us if we were hit by an uninsured driver, since we would have been covered without having to ding our insurance. So if you get in a crash that isnt your fault, say a little prayer that they arent insured by Geico. I dont even want to imagine what it would be like to be insured by them. Steer clear.

I have had several claims and several tows. GEICO has been absolutely spectacular in every way. We only pay $200 a month for full comp on two cars and a motorcycle. One time one of their contracted tow truck drivers scratched my motorcycle and GEICO waived the deductible and had my fender painted for free.

This was a rental store called top hat video in 1991.... You could rent the super nintendo now it is an office and they have the geico mascot on the window.. This has nothing to do with the geico office.

I was a victim of an accident and they said they would take care of me. They said they set up an appointment for the next day and and I drove all the way to it to find out that they scheduled for the day they called me. What a waste. They say their goal is excellent customer service. That is a joke.

Completely disgusted with these people not only did their insured hit my parked unoccupied car drunk driving a bullet bike up n down the road at midnight... they offered me a larger settlement until my car was totalled then claimed they made a mistake and suddenly the offer is $600 lower then they don’t pay storage fees they claimed they did after I bout my car back but now my car is completely undeivable due to them informing maaco not to put it back together I have no tail lights no bumper it’s no longer street legal and I don’t have a car n not nearly enough settlement money to buy a new one THANKS GUYS YOU SUCK!!!
