1st Barrys class - excellent class, workout... Instructor was motivating and encouraging! Please was clean and awesome air circulation!!!
Hit or miss depending on instructor but at the end of the day it’s your workout so it’s good when you do your best.
Amazing location. I have seen itj on internet. I couldnt go there because I am in Romania and thia hall is in USA, California...
The majority of the coaches are good if you already know what youre doing. Its hot AF working out outside and they make u keep the masks on the whole workout which is fine. But its outside so Im not sure why its mandatory. They have a tent but it doesnt shield all the spots. The headphones make a lot of static noise. is it worth the $350/month price tag? Hell to the no. But unfortunately options are slim out there. Also, if youre new to working out dont expect to get any good instruction in terms of fixing your form or how to execute any exercises properly. They show you once and dont bother going around correcting people. Theres many injuries waiting to happen when I look around. Barrys isnt the best but its something.
My wife and I tried Barrys for the first time this morning. I havent trained in over a week so it was a wake-up call at 7am 😳 the running was tough but I absolutely loved the class. I will be signing up for sure! Great sweat, felt great afterwards. The staff were really great too, took time to show us around and explain everything, even after the class. Highly recommend 💪🏽
Lots of parking. Outdoor studio is open during covid.
I love Barrys! I have been attending classes for about two months, and Its such a great workout, and I have been seeing real results and a difference in my endurance and stamina. Shoutout to Lucas Bloms who is absolutely amazing and so accommodating/helpful. If youre looking for a workout class that is going to push you I highly recommend checking out this studio.
Well if you hate yourself then sign on up 💀because you won’t be treated worse than at Barry’s!!! 🤪 Very little instruction. Taryn, the trainer, gives 0 about your form. But whatever who cares if you have poor training, right? Unfortunately her constant unfriendliness and unwillingness to teach anyone, kept me thinking - why am I here? . But the real reason I’m not recommending this place is that in addition to bad trainers, it simply isn’t worth it’s salt. You get so much more at even Equinox 😳compared to this place. Ok if you like tattered equipment in a dark red room that seems like it’s a bar on Cahuenga, coolbut you’ve evolved, I’ve evolved. We deserve better.
Ive been to Barrys in SD, and I loved it. Could barely walk, but really enjoyed it. The music, the lighting, the hot bods, it inspires you to give it your all during the work out. Really excited to check out the TO studio opening this fall.
It’s hard, like really hard. I felt intimidated at this location as they sort of assume you know what you are doing so make sure to let them know you need some guidance if it’s your first time. Be prepared they usually have you on treadmill for a good 20-30 mins. Donny is great coach if he is still there.
Great classes and helpful staffThe trainers are world class and the snack bar is even betterWould definitely re visit
Best workout youll ever have! High intensity cardio and weights, great atmosphere and amazing staff. Fave trainers are Astrid, Eric W and Ingrid. Definitely come try out a class- it will change your life!
Love love 💘 😻 💜 this place
Really good training session. Good encouragement and low lighting. Had DOMS for a good three days afterwards. The instructor was very specific in his feedback on correct body shapes and which muscles to be tensing at which time.We purchased a 3 session package each for a discounted price post-workout. We had to cut our trip short so couldn’t use them up and are disappointed we can’t use the sessions at the Barry’s Bootcamp in London. $120 wasted and spent on nothing then when we phoned up they said they can’t give a refund and we can’t use them at any other Barry’s Bootcamps.3.5 stars instead of 5. Unfortunately let down a really good training session.
Honestly the hardest workout in the world, but they give you modifications for running and weightlifting, so anybody can do it. The staff are incredibly fun and welcoming, its a brand new facility with Malin + Goetz products (fancy!) and their smoothie bar is incredible. Tell them its your first class and theyll take care of you!
Best workout in LA. Astrid & Chris are the best classes. Staff are extremely courteous and professional. Loooove it and excited to go to every class.
The best workout in the world is Barrys Bootcamps slogan and they arent lying. You will sweat out 1000+ calories in one 1 hour class. (Astrid is my favorite instructor)
Good workouts and tough, if you like running. The prices are high is only real downside. Kind of a scene of abs-baring west Hollywooders.
So much fun and loved the motivational factor. Be careful of your form and dont necessarily compete with the person next to you, but challenge your own limits.
Great place to start your day.Youll be puking your guts out on your first day.
Love it! Never worked out so hard in my life. Oh yes!
Best daily workout around without fail! Choose Joey L every time
I’m always challenged here and I always walk out feeling like a champion. Be ready to sweat.
Barrys family forever. Best workout in the world for sure
Amazing classes and great instructors!! The place to be....
To these fitness con-artists. This was the worst rip off of my life. Felt like calling the police, but eventually got most of my money back and just didnt have the energy to deal with it anymore.
The workout is amazing but the studio is cramped, parking is a nightmare, and it feels old and dated. Go to Hollywood instead.
Quite expensive, but really good workout。More towards cardio than weights。Super tough treadmill。
Took a class from Barry himself and worked out with Kim Kardashian.
Not for the faint hearted!! 😱
Awesome music/Classes
