Was excited to try this place and we will not be back. They did not ask us what pedicures we wanted they didn’t talk to us at all except for asking my friend “did that hurt?” (More on that later). My friend and I were planning on getting deluxe pedicures but were never even offered anything but the standard although I’m happy we didn’t get a deluxe because the classic wasn’t worth what we paid to begin with. Both of the people doing our pedicures cut the skin on our toes and bled; the person doing mine literally wouldn’t stop using the tool to remove cuticles on my toes even after that step was “done” (mind you I get pedicures every month and so it’s not like my feet aren’t “groomed”). My previous nail polish wasn’t even removed completely and instead of reusing the cotton and nail polish remover, my person scraped off the remaining polish with the tool used to push your cuticle back. Furthermore my pinky toe is jagged and the polish isn’t even covering my whole nail on 85% of my toes. When I went to get out of the chair to go under the light and dry the nails, I noticed my other pinky toe was missing polish on a good chunk of the nail and there was polish all over the skin of the toe. I asked them to fix it and they went back in the the cuticle cutting tool!!! There was also polish on other of my toes… messy job and not worth it!

I went to Pro Nails for a Fill and Pedicure after going elsewhere and they showed me the correct way a fill should be done and gave tips on what to look for if going to a different salon in the future. Not only did they give me good tips - they also did an amazing job on both my fill and pedicure for a great price too! Will definitely be a returning customer!

I love going to Pro Nails. The owner does the best job with my acrylic nails. Ive never had an issue with my nails. The employees are so friendly and always happy to see everyone that walks in the door. The pedicures are wonderful and prices are very reasonable. If there is ever an issue, just let them know and it will be fixed right away. Im a customer for life!

Made an appointment at 3 to get acrylics and they said that they could do that. Went and was told to wait and I waited but after 15 minutes I left. They seem like nice people and good at what they do but I’m not gonna wait all day after I had made an appointment. Very nice people though!

Got a full set from Tang -- he was amazing! I love my nails, they were a great price, and he was super friendly. I was able to get in right away as a walk-in. High quality nails at a good price, with amazing service.

They all do a very good job on making the nail look great and making it last with their final coats. Just watch the file, it got me once, ouch!

New favorite place! Ive been to the fancy nail shops and Ive been to the cheap shops, but this one is a gem to find! Thien (sorry if misspelled) was so welcoming and gave me exactly what I wanted. He was professional, but made me feel so at home and we spoke the entire time! I will definitely be coming back here on the regular, even though I live 45 minutes away. Thanks so much!

I have been going to Pro Nails for years. The owner is so nice and always smiles at my mom and me when we come in and chats with us throughout our service. They do one of the best dip manicures in the metro area — I pick at and bite my nails, and I really appreciate the extra smoothness they shape on the nails. This is also one of the most covid friendly places — they have movable clear plastic partitions between every station, and special clear plastic cubicle-like setups around the pedicure chairs. Very clean, very friendly, very good service!

Had a wonderful experience today at pro nails. Ive never had a mani/pedi done and they were so nice and courteous! My nails look absolutely perfect for my wedding, thanks a ton!!

I had a fantastic experience with the older gentleman who did acrylics for me! He was very articulate and paid special attention to the fact that I bite my nails and he put in an extra effort to make them beautiful again. They are so efficient that there was no line and I got right in at noon. During downtime, I watched another nail tech teaching younger techs how to do designs and such. This shows me that they have a passion for nails and really know how to make someone feel pretty. I will be going back!

I love this place. i’ve been to other nail salons that people say are “amazing” but they really aren’t. i always end up coming back to Pro Nails because they do SUCH and amazing job. and the workers are always so nice and open to trying new things with me, and i love their enthusiasm about it!!

I love going to get my nails done at this shop! My experience was amazing! Employees are very nice amd cater to your needs! They offer free massages with your manicure or pedicure! They also offer snacks and beverages while you are there. This is an all around great place to go and their prices are cheep compared to most places! The reason why I did not give them five stars is because the man who did my nails did not pay attention to specific details and left smudges of nail polish on my fingers, I had to go home and remove it with nail polish remover myself!, it just depends on who is doing your nails, but overall a great place to go!

Had the worst experience because I was charged over 80$ for normal painted acrylics- that started peeling after 3 days. He also shaped them weird and they were uneven. And he didn’t even cut my cuticles or provide any kind of prep.

Got my nails done tonight at pro nails and I love them! Their salon is clean, staff is super friendly, and they take great care of their customers. Highly recommend!!

Nice establishment, but if youre not a regular customer ... it seems as though you will get subpar service. I paid for French tip & each nail is very uneven. This is a simple service .. & I dont feel as though I should have had to request the lines be even.

I always have a great experience here! They get the shape and length I want perfect every time, unlike some other salons in the area. They have a huge selection of colors, which is another reason I love it here! And they make sure to check if you like your nails multiple times while they are being done.

I made an appointment for me and my 15 year old daughter for 2 manicures with shellac paint. They seat us apart and next thing I know the OWNER is putting tips and a full set on my daughter who had NO clue what to expect or what they were asking her, which is why I made it clear what we wanted when I made the appointments. My own nails were not done neatly, not the same length and the polish had visible bubbles. Not a good experience, we will not return.Edited to add: When I spoke to the owner at the time of the incident he blamed my daughter fully for not understanding and did not offer to take them off or fix the problem, she did NOT ask for a full set (she didn’t even know what I meant when I said “oh wow, they put acrylics on you”). She also said she asked for them to be shorter but he did not understand or hear her correctly. After leaving we also noticed he did not put the clear coat on 2 of her fingers and I took her to a local nail parlor to get them fixed. All and all an awful experience.

Thien is the owner and runs a very professional and clean establishment!! They care about all their customers and provide excellent service! I have been a loyal customer for 3 years and will continue to be a loyal customer. They sanitize everything after every customer and are following all covid 19 precautions. I had completely stopped getting acrylic nails because I could never find someone to do them right. I finally decided to get them done today and I am so thankful I did because I finally have found my go to person. Tang did an amazing job. He left my nails looking beautiful and I even got a neck massage. I highly highly recommend him and the nail salon. Customer service is amazing. Went way beyond my expectations.

First time visiting here today. I got a pedicure and manicure with the owner Tang. Very reasonable prices. He definitely knows how to make you feel comfortable! Very warm and inviting place! Love this nail salon!! They have beverages for you if you’d like, and all the employees are super nice and welcoming. They always remember you and your name and do great work. I dont go often, but this is the only nail salon I visit. Everyone is always professional and friendly. Today I was assisted by Lina, which was an absolute pleasure to speak with. Prices are great, and service is excellent. They even usually provide arm/shoulder or feet/leg massages depending on which service you are get.

They have amazing customer service they gave me a certain nail shape that wasn’t one of the choices and it turned out amazing I totally recommend coming here

Usually go here but the service has gone down hill. They rush through the services and the owner who did my moms nails was rude the whole time and made her bleed and called her a cry baby for telling him it hurt. Her nails are uneven and he just went ahead and did shellac when we asked for a regular set. If you go here be careful as they try to overcharge you and rush through the services. I would recommend ALL ABOUT NAILS which is 2 mins down the street they are more professional and dont make you feel like a burden.

This is the best nail salon in Des Moines.. I always have perfect pedicures and gorgeous dip manicures that last for weeks and are so well done that my nails look painted, never thick or rough.

They did a terrible job on my Pedicure. They took forever as the lady doing mine kept walking away and doing other things. She also did not do the whole pedicure process and they look just the same as they did before I came in. I would not return to this place
