I bought a used 2016 RAV4 with 80k miles. In one year I have put over 20k miles on it and it still runs like a clock. But recently, during the recent heat wave, the AC would stop working. When it reached 85 degrees, it would always stop working. I couldn’t get it to fail at the dealership but finally it failed for Al and Mike and they determined it was the AC Compressor. They installed an OEM Toyota ac compressor and $1,400 later the problem is 100% fixed. Yes it’s expensive, but the ac compressor lasted over 100k miles so I can’t complain about that. The car would never fail for a mechanic so for it to finally fail for Al and Mike, and for them to completely solve the problem is amazing. Al is my go to mechanic now.

Al is great. He is honest, quick, upfront and always available to help you out. I started using him because of the convenience of his shop to my home but will continue to use him and recommend to others based on his work and honesty. Als Automotive services my fleet of work trucks as well as my personal vehicles. They are always quick and very efficient. We had been with four other shops prior to finding Al. We have now been with them for nearly five years and have not considered going elsewhere once. Als understands that when my trucks are in his shop, they are producing nothing for the company. He gets them done quickly and at very reasonable costs. They are easy to talk to and have a great feel for their role on keeping our business moving. Recently, I discovered that one of my personal vehicles was due for inspection the day before I left for vacation. Al got me in, inspected (properly) and on the road in about 2 hours, late on a Friday afternoon. If youve never used them, just try them!

Al and his staff perform great work at a great price. the work is always good and you are always informed as to the necessities and well a recommended future items that may be needed. While the waiting room/office may not be glamorous it is clear that money was spent on a first rate staff. This is an honest shop in a less then honest world.

Ive had great experiences at Als Automotive. Theyre extremely honest and talk you through all of the repairs to help you understand whats going with your car. I really appreciated their help in prioritizing the repairs and figuring out what needed to be done immediately, and what could wait till a later date. If youre looking for a repair shop, I would definitely recommend them!

Al and the crew took care of my van inspection and emissions for two years in a row. I started using them after I felt taken advantage of from one of the bigger guys. These guys are quick, professional and honest. Im only sorry I didnt start using them years earlier.
