Got the answers I needed. Wasnt what I wanted to hear as I was trying to switch over from hydraulic to electric brakes and the axle I have wasnt going to work. Very Helpful Customer Service! I selected this 12v RV ceiling fan for use in my solar powered cabin. Very happy with my choice! In the photo, you can see I used a hanging assembly to adapt this flush mount fan to hang on my sloped ceiling. I love the challenge of adapting things like this. I will also have to adjust my switch cover plate a little, and the switch itself needs a bit of adjustment to mount in a standard wall box. Thanks for your support with my questions!

Good information regarding the wiring for my new IRV stereo in my travel trailer; however, there was one error. I was instructed by Jameson to connect the IRV yellow wire to the power feed from the RV and of course the black to the ground. The unit did not work. I called Quest Audio and was instructed by their tech to connect the yellow (battery) wire and the red (accessory) wire to the RV power source. Voila. The unit works.Thanks very much.

I had read forums on tow packages and bike racks for our CR-V Hybrid and was concerned about getting the right one (Honda does not allow towing on the hybrid). Someone on the forums recommended etrailer so I looked at the website and still wanted to make sure I got the right one. I asked the question and a couple of days later received a very detailed reply with recommendations on both the tow pkg and bike racks. I have not ordered yet but will do so soon. The advice given to me was that I needed to unlock the lock. Yes, I have already had the key twisted counterclockwise into every position and the knob still wont catch. I have taken it off before. I know what Im doing. I could have used some advice on what to do if Im already doing it correctly.

Part numbers I requested for my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe were not able to be verified as correct. My second request for confirmation of correct part numbers for my vehicle was just a forward to me of the first email from them, no hep at all.

On Curt 2in receiver hitch, I knew spare tire clearance was going to be close on my 2001 F350 SD TD, and Michael here assured me with text and diagrams about the fitment with a 275 R18 all terrain, and Im glad we figured it out because I got some Fall camping to do..fast helpful response.

I was given a trailer brake controller and did not have the correct plug for my truck. I did some google research and was unsure if the product I had found was the correct one. I used the ask a question feature on this web site and expected I would have gotten an answer within a few days. I was pleasantly surprised when I got an answer in the same day. They gave the correct part number and link to said part. I would say etrailer.com is an outstanding website and would recommend it to anyone looking for trailer accessories.

Ive tried to order a few times. 2 out of 3 times the package comes inadequately protected and damaged. Customer service was decent - offered refund, but defended their shipping dept as extensively trained and told me to shop locally. If that were true, I would not receive damaged goods. Ive literally had pillows shipped to me with more protective packaging that my trailer hitch and brake assemblies.

Hitch and wiring were shipped extremely fast and Jameson answered my question about fuse size promptly. Very satisfied with etrailer and their employees. Five stars.

I’ve yet to deal with ANY member of their team who does not go above and beyond the usual or expected effort to answer my questions as thoroughly as possible. I have no personal, professional or commercial connection to etrailer.com other than being a retail customer who has made multiple purchases and asked many questions. Occasionally when I’m having a third party vendor build something for me, I’ve done the research myself through etrailer.com, and then had the vendor/reseller purchase the part(s) I need directly from etrailer on my behalf. Helpful answer and presented an alternate product that I will investigate further. In fact this week Im testing my 5th wheel to truck cab clearace at maximum manuvering positions. The positive about the Pullrite #2400 is weight and it adds 3 1/2 clearance. Negative is I will have to change my pin box from the Mor-Ryde rubber to a standard box, so If my clearances are adequate I may opt for the recommended hitch assembly.

The customer service with this site is top of the line. They go out of their way to make sure your experience is a positive one. Quality products and great prices. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a spring bar to replace an out of stock part that would be around 60 bucks normally. The expert suggestion I get is to buy a whole new hitch system. I mean if I wanted to go that route the better suggestion would have been to buy a whole matching Husky set to get my missing spring bar. Then at least I would have lots of useful spare parts and wouldnt have to uninstall my current setup and then install a new system. Luckily I found a local dealer willing to break up a complete set for parts so I could get the bar I needed.

The only thing we ended up feeling a need to do was put additional screws in so it was a BIT more stable. But it worked just as promised. Were happy.

My service agent took several days to respond - a sign of the sites popularity and his workload, I expect, and not his work ethic. His response did make me aware that there could be an off-the-shelf solution for me, and I understand why he couldnt advise me on the potential of the custom solution I described and asked about.He was as helpful as he could be, and that was a lot more help than any other place on line for trailers that I know.

I found many options, which is both good and bad, because I was overwhelmed by the choices!I looked at the questions and answers on a variety of products, and it seemed that asking a question of an expert would be the best option.The automated message said it might be several days to get a response, and that was correct.That was not a problem, because the answer I received was very good. I asked for some options to have cameras on my van and box trailer. Usually have a good service. But my recent 4000 dollar solar system I purchased was shipped with a missingcontroller module I have been playing email games and now I have a system I purchased unusable. As advertised it is not! Make sure you open even if it’s factory sealed to be sure all parts are inside. Now I am disputing credit charges and they will have to take their incomplete “Top Of The Line” Solar package back! I am purchasing elsewhere and at a better price! This box was sealed from their shipping department and undamaged on outside, which I have pictures of pallet before opening! They simply forgot to place item in the box ! Over a month with no resolution. Other than a week old concluded investigation from their dock department, and now another week has passed with no part! Two months and they still never have sent me a part horrible company service

Everything thing was great. Camera advice was excellent and the camera works very well. However, the application for the phone did not work, but after some searching I found an answer that pointed to a different app. It could have saved me some time and frustration if this was noted in the camera recommendation.

I had a situation where I needed to figure out how to secure a plastic over bins I used for transporting my crafts to the craft events. The answer did not surprise me and did not give the information I was hoping to obtain. I seems like I am the only one to have experienced this condition - which I think is strange. The recommendation to add an external vent may resolve the condition, but I am trying another fix to verify or prove out whether that may work.The timely response was appreciated. The indication that I am alone with this condition is strange.

You folks were great at responding to my query about whether a pair of specific custom trailer mirrors existed for my towing vehicle . They don’t. The mirrors you recommended were about double the price I paid at Camping World. They appeared to be identical. You seem to have many satisfied customers based on many of the reviews I read online, but I felt you were overpriced on this item. I will continue to shop your other products and see if this is true across the board.

Customer technical service was great, the ordering process left a little bit to be desired. It took a full 3 days for them to process the order and send it to a third party. Still waiting on the parts to arrive!

However, on critical projects such as replacing the brake system on our vehicles it would be refreshing to be able to speak to a human being about brake components we are buying from you.Mike did well getting me helpful information that I can apply to this brake project.

Bryce answered a question and was Wrong. The Brake shoes DO come with the retainer springs exactly as in the picture I showed him. Its obvious that when answering the question, Bryce chose the easy button and looked at their website description (which was wrong) instead of walking out to the warehouse and verifying what actually came in the box. In picture attached, the bag includes the retainer clip and springs I was asking about. Instead, Bryce tried to have me purchase an assembly for 5 times the price to get the springs.... Lame useless Tech support if all you are going to do is parrot what is already on the website.

This was very helpful in knowing whether or not a specific locking pin would fit my Bike Rack Rig. I was able to find a 5/8 11 Threads Per Inch locking hitch Pin. The Advantage Sports Rack Pin by Heininger is a 5/8-11 hitch pin and works perfectly with my Reese Outfitter Adventure 4 Bike Rack.

The people are very nice and helpful, but there appears to be no follow-up. My order was lost, and I still havent received a notice that it has been reshipped. Very frustrating!

This was completely my fault! I didn’t look at the instructions closely enough to notice the 4 clamps and 4 rubber feet are all different numbers and shaped to fit vehicle. Once I reassembled all the parts as instructed - they fit! :) completely my mistake for not looking at instructions closely enough.

Gave good advice on what to check on my trailer brakes. Although I havent gotten around to checking these things, at least I have a starting point.

Sam was responsive and helpful. He answered my questions about a coupler lock that I was looking at, which he determined would not fit my trailer, so he quickly provided an alternative product to fit my trailer coupler.

Bob C. was great: he did the research with the manufacturer and the answers he gave with the video were perfect. I mounted the bike rack on the new car (the rack was purchased years ago for a previous vehicle) and it worked great; while it’s not the perfect fit everything he warned me about could be accommodated with some care and had been noted. I’d recommend e-trailer to anyone in a heartbeat!

We checked the breakaway plug and it is securely attached. The dealer we had install the unit is getting us a new unit. And is sending the original one back. Still not sure why it is locking the brakes on the truck, they think it may be defective. Thank you for your quick response.
