Seemed very professional until the x - ray . I went in a with half my face swollen from a severe infection an tooth ach . The x ray lady wanted to talk about anything an everything . Hello whats the first clue I dont wanna talk unless I have too . Next she showed me to room . I sit in the chair an as that lady walks away she stops in front of the door an tries to whisper to someone You need to get whatever the person name was I didnt catch that part . Next thing I know a different ladys in their telling I need a schedule all these cleanings An different things I need to do . I started feeling like I was no more than a DOLLAR sign to them especially when I find out shes not even the dentist Im there to see or even touching the issue that brought me in there in the first place . Then the dentist walks in an begins his work an tells me my options nice guy then prescribes antibiotics an Ibuprofen. The receptionist that checks me in is standing in the door escorting me to some office an an starts trying to pretty much pressure me into all this dental work an applying for this an that an between this office an another office its gonna be about 2500 out of pocket an how I should pay them first with the money . Once again Im feeling like a dollar symbol an lets not forget I cant hardly talk . Even after I tell her I need to talk with my wife first she still pushes the money .as Im leaving the office I need to remind them I need a drs note for work so they write one up because I left work because of the pain an how swollen the one side if my face had become . So I get home go to take a picture of the note an notice it says to be excused for 2 hrs an return to work, so I go back up there an tell the lady I hardly think I can return to work in this condition . So they rewrite the note excusing me until Monday which was fine I dont work the weekends an should be enough time for the medicine to have kicked in an started working . This was at 9am so about 330 I go to get me prescriptions an I was informed that they were never called in so I called them back an told them an was told the Dr never signed them them an it would have to wait because he was busy. So I go back later that night to get them . Monday morning I wake up for work an nothings changed with the pain or how swollen my face is so I call in an to work . At 8am Im back at the drs office telling them still cant return to work an that I need a continuance of the drs note an also that if anything I feel worse an that the infection has moved up to the corner of my eye . The receptionist reply the Drs note going to change anything . I then tell here that somethings not right the infections spreading an show her my eye an she reply Ill talk to the Dr an call you .....remember thats at 8 ...its now 330 an no word Ill have to go somewhere to get help because his place surely cant be trusted

No stars. Made an appointment to pull a broken tooth. They started a checkup and wanted me to schedule an appointment to pull the tooth. Then told me I had to pay for the part of the checkup since I did not let them finish. Left and will have to find a new dentist.

Ive never been but Ive only heard terrible things about their business practices. They pressure you into treatments you dont need and then overcharge you for what you do get. If you go make sure u research them or at least have some knowledge about what you do/dont need.

Aspen Dental got my in when my regular dentist was shut down due to Covid19 and I had one maybe two major abscessed lower front teeth. Aspen got me in and took care of the problem. Very gentle and the dentist and her tech were GREAT! The only negative was them not accepting my insurance.

The place right now is closed for the Holidays, but Ill let you know when I go Monday when I go.

Every staff member was so friendly and helpful in answering all of my questions. I like that there is a computer screen in front of the chair so that I can look at my x-rays along with the doctor. I really appreciated that they gave so much explanation to each step and what they were looking for, it made me feel more respected and empowered as the patient.

Professional took xrays, and several other tests never done before. They have all the latest equipment. You pay in advance once they determine what you need done. Discovered I had periodontal disease never diagnosed before and just finished my first treatment and Barb did very well explaining everything and confirmed what I had paid for in advance.All the tests and exams were free...initially I thought I was charged for them but it was my mistake what I paid for was treatment they schedule the same day. That I misunderstood. thought it was for what they did during the tests and exam.

Couldnt believe how wonderful Aspen Dental was to work with. Everyone had the answers to all my questions and got me through the process as quick as possible. ive already referred them to a friend. Thanks to all of them i finally can smile again

I would give zero but thats not allowed. No clues where the caring staff is at this place. Husband PAID UP FRONT for a full set of dentures. His first set of brand new lowers broke 3 times in a week. So after dealing with different aspens around the country we went to another company for REAL IMPLANTS. After he got his training teeth in at other co he called up the marshalltown aspen to pick up the dentures we paid for or for a refund. They stated we had to have an appointment and have the dentures fitted. After explaining until we were blue in the face that we just wanted to pick them up,we made an appointment. We walked in and were told to wait while they readied a room to remove his teeth. At this point I flipped out and said for the umpteenth time that day that my hubby has implants and just wants what we paid for. They practically threw the uppers at us told us there were no lowers and the last words they said was youll have to remove the implants for that to fit right. Darling his implants are permanent NOT magnetic snaps like Aspen has. So after reading the glowing reports I am wondering if it was the good staffs day off and the 3 stooges were left in charge. I knew we were in trouble when making the appointment they asked for our phone number 6 times. In 3 minutes.

This is the most thorough dentist I have ever been to. They tell you how it is and what you need to do to fix it. They are awesome.

This place is a scam! Dont go there! They have you finance through care credit and i had to pay them up front for services but still owe care credit. Total scam!!!! $2000 for a cleaning and 5 extractions. Dont go there more loopholes than fishnet stockings. They never even done a follow up to check on me wow!

I toke my 5 year old to aspen and she had a get experience. They were super nice and gentle with her even when she was really scared.

I had a tooth extraction on a tooth that was split down the middle and abscessed. The procedure went well, but the pain after the numbness wore off was unbearable. I think some pain medication would have been helpful. Otherwise, no complaints.

I absolutely do not like going to the dentist for any reason, Aspen Dental made me feel comfortable, they explained what was about to happen, what to expect, and the staff here are very polite! I highly recommend!

I am very pleased so far with my experience at Aspen Dental. I was having terrific pain associated with an abcessed tooth and had no current dentist. I was able to get an exam right away and was given several options for my overall dental health. I was prescribed an antibiotic and was to return in 3 days for an extraction. My whole procedure was over in about 20 minutes. Dr. Singh was very reassuring as I have a fear of dental procedures in general. Its been almost 24 hours, and am relatively pain free, and no apparent complications.

In the course of a year I visited this dentist over five times. You know its bad when they cant have a dentist stay... Every time I visited it was a different dentist. All of them did sub par work on my mouth. Each time I left I was in pain (Ive been to a lot of dentists and know what is normal and what isnt) the billing department is a joke. .they told me it takes 6-12 months to see what insurance pays for. (I went in over the course of a year, after the first visit my insurance was maxed out. I continued to go back and pay everything out of pocket and upfront. Each time I paid I made sure I was paid up and didnt owe anything. They continued to say I owed nothing. Six months after my last visit I received a bill for 650$ stating my insurance didnt cover something 9 months ago for my FIRST visit.)Insurance does not take that long to hear back from. Will be contacting the BBB with this! Upgrade your software or retrain your employees Aspen.... Customers should beware..
