I have to say I’ve been lifting weights and working out for over 20 years and I’ve never been one to entertain going to a CrossFit gym. After my wife went to try out this gym she told me I had to go check it out not going to lie it took me weeks to even entertain going and trying it. Finally I did and boy I’m so happy I did from the owner Jeff and his wife Lisa to coach Diane they are all so welcoming and helpful not one person in the gym from staff to athletes is egotistical or stuck up there all very warming and nonjudgmental. That was very important to me since I’m new to this and already was somewhat intimidated by CrossFit so if you want to come to a judgement free gym this is the place. He has the Wellington High School weight lifting team there as well and if I’m not mistaken he coaches some of the females. Lastly this morning my wife and me went in with our 3 children ages 2, 3, and 11 and coach Diane was so helpful while we worked out and engaged with them it shows you that family vibe and energy of a gym that is not always easy to find. Thank you and please go check out this gym it’s by fair 10 out of 10.
Staff is very knowledgeable and they take their time to explain health and wellness. I recommend this gym.
They put together a program for my specific needs and motivated me to achieve my goals. Recommend
I have been going to CrossFit for over a year now and recently switched over to CrossFit DOA. Best decision of my life! The coaches and members are truly unbelievable!! Passionate and have a real love for the sport. They walk you through everything and genuinely care about you as an athlete, pushing you to perform your best for every single WOD. I will never go anywhere else. CrossFit DOA truly becomes like family. HIGHLY recommend checking it out.
Coaches are remarkable and passionate about the sport and sharing knowledge with their members. Coaches maintain a safe environment for athletes. CrossFit DOA makes you feel as if you are family and I highly recommend you check them out.
Awesome place to come to. The coaches are very professional and knowledgeable. Great enviorment. Workouts are always fun. And the owners are very friendly. I wouldnt want to go to any other gym
CrossFit DOA gave me a warm welcome the minute I first entered. It was easy to spend my week in Wellington with DOA. The coaches caught those little issues that I can sometimes sneak by without getting called on. Good job DOA. I’ll be back.
As a first time crossfitter I cant say enough about the coaches and athletes at this box. Everyone is super friendly and supportive. Coach Jeff and Sam really care about proper form and make sure you are comfortable with everything you attempt, explaining everything in a way that all can understand. If you need help with anything, just ask cause everyone is willing to help you become your best. My kids are 15 and 11 and they love going and being pushed to achieve their best.
Amazing gym!! The staff are top notch and always eager to assist you.. the gym is clean, well maintained and never crowded.
This has been a great experience for my family, the gym is clean, organized, and well ran. The staff is positive, well trained and attentive. The ownership has done a great job with our daughter during her first year of crossfit and power-lifting.
Great box! Was totally new to Crossfit and I am totally hooked! Great coaches who push you without risking injury and focus on making sure you are doing all the movements correctly! Great group of people who are fun and encouraging! Check it out!
1st day back in Crossfit in over a year and first time at DOA and I already feel like part of the family! Great coaches and staff whos focus is safety and form first. Alex & Jeff know when and how to push you without making you want to quit the next day! I hope to be a member for a very long time!
Drop in were hassle-free, they communicated extremely fast via Facebook, Coaches and Front Desk are really helpful and friendly. I was able to do my own box programming one day in a separate room (Olympic Weightlifting Room ) and I joined the 930 am class the following day class was great and so was the female coach was leading the class. I cant remember her name but she was quite pleasant and helpful. I look forward to visiting in the future.
Great Kids CF class!

DOA is what CrossFit is all about. The environment; the attitude; the coaching - doesnt get any better. The whole family is loving it.

CrossFit DOA is a great crossfit box in Wellington, Fl. Whether you are a permanent resident, a snow bird, or just on vacation this is the place to get fit and have some fun! The wods are well programmed, the people are super friendly, and the coaches really care about the clients. I recommend this box to anyone who whether they are an experienced or novice crossfitter!
Simply the best.. Great coaches great atmosphere!!
I dont typically jump on the 5 star band wagon and there werent a great many reviews available when I was checking for a place to WOD during my recent visit so I stepped into Crossfit DOA a bit hesitantly. Ive been at Crossfit for 8 years and I travel quite a bit and been to boxes throughout the world so lets just say Ive seen a WIDE variation in equipment, attitude and coaching technique. Enough about me. Crossfit DOA is legit!I was visiting for a week so I was able to attend for 5 days. Crossfit DOA is the type of box I prefer. Located a bit off the main drag, light industrial business park without a lot of flash or traffic. A destination where you know the people who go there didnt just fall in by impulse and sign a one year contract. Its light and roomy the walls well stocked with equipment with two large rollups doors and fans for ventilation. (Personally I hate working out in air conditioning.) We had one WOD with hspu when there were about 25 people participating. My HSPU dismounts are typically not elegant and due to a perceived lack of available wallspace my usual 6 ft. of clearance on both sides was not available. Turned out not to be an issue; guess who got more focused and better at HSPUs?We had a couple of WODS with nearly 30 people participating and everyone was set up correctly with plenty of space. I was amazed when we did an ascending Deadlift ladder one day (185/135 starting and up) and everyone had all the plates they needed neatly stacked and ready for each set. Thats well equipped. The next day a two bar Bodyweight Bench/Clean workout with some beasts and nobody was scrounging 10s and 15s to make-up for missing 45s. (Having the right equipment available helps get your head in the game. ) We hadnt used up the bars or bottomed out the plates in the main WOD area and Im certain there were stacks available as necessary in the separate Oly lifting room which seemed well-attended, though I did not review.Community is sometimes hard to assess since a lot depends on who shows up. One bad encounter at a box with a prima donna or the local bench press champ can give the wrong impression. Nothing bad here. I was greeted enthusiastically by all the trainers each day, a few of the members introduced themselves and everyone else was friendly.More importantly, although there was some banter pre-WOD, everyone got about their business of warming up with purpose and knowing what they were there for. It wasnt tea social and we didnt have a trust circle to introduce the new guy. We just got on with it. Coaches were there for Q&A, more later. After the WOD, people spent time chatting and taking responsibility for their workspace. Wiping down equipment and floor of chalk and sweat before putting it away. If youre the next guy/gal to use it youll appreciate this attention to detail! Most telling about community is that every Saturday is a Hero WOD! 9&10. And it seems like everyone shows up! Nothing says intensity like hero WOD and nothing says were serious about training when everyone shows up every Saturday morning for one. Oh yeah, Sunday isnt an off day here. They (we) WOD on Sundays too (usually some bench press mixed-in Im told; also refreshing for the typical crossfitter).Coaching styles vary widely and people respond differently to each. For me I found the coaching styles here to be great. Attentive without being overbearing. Im not a fan of technique instruction when Im in the middle of a workout (unless Im going to hurt myself) but I dont want to be ignored. The cues were motivational, on point and timely. Jeff called good lifts during one set which was reassuring and set a competition tone. He and all the instructors were always active walking around, calling the times, (10 seconds remaining! etc.) instead of starting the clock and walking away as Ive seen in other boxes.Programming was excellent with a bit of strength bias. This place ramps up on the weekends when others are ramping down.Excellent box and experience all around!
Patient and welcoming. Could not recommend more
Great gym. Very attentive and super dedicated trainers. People who attend the place are super friendly and receptive. I have been to the site for only 2 months and I can already see a difference in my performance. I recommend the place for both beginners and people with more advanced training.
