The service was nice. I was here for 2 hrs for a simple pedicure and eyebrow wax. I didnt get a warm neck roll like all the other customers. Plus the lengthy visit hence 3 stars.

Love this place. Been going here for years. Love And and Lee. They do just exactly what you and very personal. I take my two granddaughters here now. They love Artisan also. Everyone treats them like family. Will not go anywhere else. Always clean.

Clean, courteous, and good prices. They offer complimentary drinks which is a nice touch. The massage chairs are absolutely excellent they practice excellent health safety standards. They use brand new tools every time out of the package, they also put a liner in the tub before you put your feet in. If you keep your receipt and bring it back your next time you get a discount. To top it off the place is absolutely posh.

Lee is so great..she gives the best pedicures. I have been with her for 4 yrs. Cody does a great job as well. He takes good care of my mothers feet. Kelly and Cody are great at nails.

I brought my stepdaughter here on a Saturday evening. She got the Princess pedicure and her service was just fine. Her nail tech was very sweet and her toes came out great. She loved the complimentary slushy.My nail tech, however, was extremely rough with me. Despite having called ahead to make sure they had time (we arrived an hour before close), it felt like she was racing the clock. I was getting a dip set. She tore up my natural cuticles and repeatedly grazed my skin with the electric filer. When I winced or flinched, she said nothing and just pulled my hand back toward her gruffly. When she wanted me to switch hands (I was in a pedi chair so I could sit next to the little one), she would practically throw my other hand back at me.The whole time she was doing my nails, another tech was sitting next to her— not working on anyone, just chatting with her in hushed tones, playing on her phone, and periodically showing her pictures. It felt like my nail tech wasnt paying attention to what she was doing and it was honestly really uncomfortable.Even after pointing things out a couple times, my nails came out really uneven. Not a single nail matches the one on the other hand.About 10 minutes before close, a man started mopping. He mopped us right into our chairs. They had to help my step daughter out of her chair and onto a towel to try and keep her from slipping. It just seemed so far from customer service etiquette. It was a pretty big place and where we were sitting, it would have been easy to save our path to the front door for last.I was really unhappy. Gladly, I don’t live in this area and will be able to go back to my regular place with my regular staff next time.

Went in to get a pedicure and my nails redone. I do acrylic over my real nails. The lady at the desk argued with my friend and I for 5 minutes trying to get us to get something different than acrylic. When we sat down they started with our nails. Instead of getting the acrylic like I asked. I got dipped, my nails are not shaped. Half are sqaured half are rounded. The tech made me bleed she was extremely rough in them. The tech that did my toes did an okay job but my pedicure was supposed to come with the wax bags. I did not get them at all… my big toes paint is already coming off. Ontop of that she maybe spent 5 minutes doing my feet. For a $40 pedicure…My friend mentioned “it’s like a puppy mill” that comment completely describes this place. It’s a get you and get you out as fast as possible.

Took my little sister to get her nails done for her birthday here and loved it. She just turned 12 so we just got regular nail paint but I would love to go back and get a pedi. Inside was beautiful and very clean.

My 11 year old daughter asked for acrylic nails and she wanted the tips painted orange. When she was finished & showed me, they were super long (way too long for a child) and completely painted orange. Being completely painted wasnt as big a deal as her refusing to fix the length & charging her for long nails! She was unprofessional and trying to take advantage of a child! Kimmy 4 should be ashamed of the way she treated a child.

I absolutely love this place! Its sooooo beautiful inside and very cozy. No matter what service you get you will always have exceptional care from the staff! They are so kind and think of every comfort you need. The chairs are comfortable and do all the massaging you want. On this trip today I got Artisan Pedicure, Artisan Mancure with a shoulder hot stone massage! I was in heaven! Artisan nails take walk-ins so no appointment necessary! I arrived at 4pm on a Saturday and got right in even though they were very busy. I was served 3 glasses of white wine with my services and felt so good! Trust me, this is perfect after a long shift or just mommy time!

Customer Service was not good. The person doing my nails was talking to other workers. It appeared to be unpleasant conversations. She was constantly looking around at others working. Clearly something was wrong with the way clients were being assigned They also rushed through payment. Too busy to care about doing a good job

Probably the worst experience I have had getting my nails done here so far. I am disappointed with the outcome. I dont notmally get my nails done but once every few months. I understand being busy and trying to get to the next customer, but quality over quantity really matters. A few extra minutes goes a really long way. My toes on the other hand were done by someone else and they look phenomenal. Even so, I dont know if I will return here.

Went on 7-26-2020 es charged 50 she did great on my nails I like the way they looked but I was in pain through the while process. What I thought was she cut my cuticle turned into she actually she ground my actual nail bed so bad it cracked not on just one nail but three. When I called today I was told I would be refunded but when I tried to reach out again to see if they were processing the refund I was told they were busy and someone would reach out to me al it takes is 5 minutes. Never going here again.

The lady was sooo nice but half of my nails are crooked and i didn’t realize until she was almost done (not entirely her fault, i should’ve checked when she asked if they looked okay). there is no apex on my nails, meaning the nail itself is flat, so i’m sure these will only last about a week. after i said no to gel, they asked me again and again until i gave in. i don’t understand the point of gel on top of acrylic. regular polish lasts just as long on acrylic nails.

First experience for me was great! Gigi did my nails and they are perfect! Great place to relax and get pampered.

I have gone to Artisans for about a year now but went last Thursday & had a horrible experience. I should have known something was wrong when the girl did not even say hello. She was extremely rough even though I had asked ( and it was translated to her) to be very gentle. She missed a spot & I asked about it & she just huffed. She did a rough, sloppy, rushed job without saying a word to me. I don’t she even made eye contact till I showed her NO TIP(which I never not tip anywhere). I told her about her rudeness & also the manager. He said we will make sure you no have her next time, I said there won’t be a next time!!

Excellent, never had a pedicure or manicure. Had both done. Loved and enjoyed it so much so I will go again, as a matter of fact I intend to make it a reoccurring occurrence.

Very impressed with everything, arrived Christmas Eve 3 people in our group had 3 pedicures and 2 manicures, all of us were happy with the services. Hubby loved his pedicure said best pedicure he had ever had...Guess we finally found our Spa!!

Very friendly place. Prices are reasonable. Weekends get busy, but during the week you can get in & out in no time

Prices are a little higher but you get what you pay for. Miss Kim did my pedi today and she was so friendly and did a really great job! I will definitely be back.

Called early in the morning to book an appointment and i was waiting for over 40 minutes. Told the receptionist I wanted acrylic nails and insisted on gel or powder nails.They sat me down and never assisted me. First time going and not going back. I’ll rate it zero stars if I could.

First time there and it was a great experience. Very detail oriented and not just rushing through me to get onto the next person. I needed an artificial toenail and pedicure and Helen was excellent!

I have been to this nail salon a couple of times, the first time was great. I went again today and not that a great experience. I had Thao do my daughters and my nails and it just seem like she was in a rush the whole time. She did a good job on my nails(I got dip) but she cut up the sides of my fingers with the electric file(don’t really know the name). I went in with my natural nails. I told her I wanted all my nails the same length, because I have a couple of nails that broke so they are shorter, she just kept saying that natural nails are better. So now I have some nails that are short and some long. I plan to keep going to this nail salon but I’m not back to her.

The last three visits were the worst my dip nails were lumpy not smooth in the least. All three times I was there for over 2 hours and was never offered anything to drink. While everyone around me was either offered a drink or already had a drink.

I would give 0 reviews if I could. I’m gonna go with the short story, which is practically, 3 of my nails broke off within a week after getting my nails done. Meaning, I had to go get them fixed throughout the week, which was an inconvenience since I work in Dallas and live 20 minutes from the salon. In the end I had to ask them to file them done short during my third visit because I could not keep going back. One of my nails broke while opening a ketchup packet. Wth. Also, while I was there, the guy did one of my nails crooked and he said it was my finger. Which it definitely was not, I’ve gotten my nails done for a long time now, so I know. And when I asked him to fix it he got mad. And when I went back to get my broken nails fixed, they didn’t care if it looked the same or were the same length. I asked if they could fixed, they got mad and fixed them a little. It made me think they did not bother to do work they are proud off. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was my second time there and my last. I thought I could keep it short, but looks like I couldn’t. Right now, I am soaking one of my nails in acetone, because another nail had broken, from the same set. Save your money for a place that actually deserves it.

I’ve been there many times, but today “Kimmy” was the worst pedicure I’ve had there.I had to tell her what to do... she was so interested what was going on with everyone else around us. Very disappointed in the massage, wrap, and cut she did.

Ive been coming to Artisan since they opened. Because my schedule is a bit hectic so walk-ins are usually what I do. However todays (7/26/2019)visit was mediocre at best.Let me start off by saying your manager or receptionist is rude and pushy. I dont want dip powder nails, I dont want shellac that lifts, I just want a manicure and pedicure. Having to explain repeatedly that Im traveling and will not have time for these is exceedingly annoying.The pedicure was okay, but just okay. I was asked to pay before my manicure was even started. While I dont want to mess up wet polish, I also dont appreciate being treated like Im a customer that isnt going to pay.I had thought I had found my holy grail of nail places, consider the sanitization, and new files for every client. I guess not.

OMG one of the best nail salons Ive been to in awhile. Technicians know what the client wants. Great customer service! Drinks are a PLUS. I highly recommend coming here.

My girls and I have been coming here awhile and we have always had excellent service but today 8-4-2019 I am highly disappointed. I walked in at 10:45 this morning to be my nails dipped a pedicure and eyebrows, usually when I’m here I’m out within an hour and that’s with me and my 3 girls however it’s now 12:17 and my nails just got done and I’m sitting here with my feet in freezing water because I’m pretty sure they forgot about me and my eyebrows still aren’t done. Literally I feel the service today is the worst service I have ever gotten anywhere and the price I am about to pay is going to be ridiculous for the service I received it’s safe to say I will probably not be coming back after this and honestly if there was a towel near by I would dry my freezing feet and leave and go somewhere else. Literally so disappointed

I only get pedicures, but they do a great job! Its very clean and there is rarely a wait. Price is comparable to other salons in town.

Went for a mother/daughter day. I got their signature pedicure ($68!) totally NOT worth it! Agree with the other reviews my nails were not filed properly and looked slanted, she pulled on my big toe and I still have a sore 3 days later. The massage was terrible and I also paid to uprage to gel pedicure. I usually do gel on my nails and was told I needed to upgrade to dip (again more $$). I feel like I have acrylics on!! They drilled on my nails and then burned my cuticles on several fingers!! Ouch!! Final bill (after we brought our own champagne) $154!! Ugh!! Totally disappointed!! The place is nice, but not worth it!! I could have received the same services for 1/2 the price somewhere else!! 😔

They do an okay job, but I went once and the lady was rough on my cuticles to the point where I was bleeding. Went the next time and the guy was on his phone most of the time....definitely not professional. Would only go again if I didnt feel like driving a further distance to get my nails done, but I would rather drive a greater distance for a better place.

Went yesterday and had a pedicure which was a total nightmare. The lady was digging and stabbing claiming I had ingrown toe nails. She hurt me so bad and they now look infected. I will never go back. I had one 3 weeks prior and did not have any issues.

This place is hit or miss for a manicure or pedicure. One out of three times my nails looked good. My dip manicures chip off quicker than applications from other salons...not sure what is going on.

I have natural long nails, the manicure was good but not great! when the lady cut my nails, one split in half. She used the worng tools to clip my nails. My nail split down to the skin and it hurt! And I agree they do rush !

Visited from Houston and I must say I love this NailSalon.

Nice facility but that’s about it. I feel like the services we got (mani & pedi) were very rushed. On the callus removal pedicure, they spent probably 30 seconds, if that, with the heel file... so obviously those are still rough, nor did they remove all of the polish that was on my toes prior (it was a dark color and I can still see it on the edges of my toenail). The polish was a rush job on our hands: the primer paint was under my nails when I left and I had the polish color on the sides of my fingers, my daughter had her nails filed unevenly and quickly painted so that the color didn’t extend completely to the edges. I also got an eyebrow wax and it hurt more than any other eyebrow wax I’ve ever had done. With all of the choices in nail salons, I will not be a return customer and will definitely go elsewhere.

Ive been twice and each time Ivan has done my nails. I have no complaints. He does a great job and is very friendly. I will continue to make my appointments with him.

First visit was good. Mani/Pedi with two friendly ladies for a good price. The manager stopped by and have me a discount on top bc it was my first time in.Facilities are nice, clean and airy.The 2nd visit I had a different technician who was grumpy and was very obvious she didnt prefer my nail color choice. WTH? A salon visit should be positive and relaxing not being at the receiving end of someones bad dayI do plan to go back but will definitely be requesting one of the two technicians from my first visit.

I Went in the salon today Saturday 10/14 to get my nails done, and Vu the manager was nice and professional. I felt so welcome. The shop was so clean, and my nails look so beautiful. This is going to be my new place.

First and Last visit. Techs being pulled and rushed. Nails cut way too short, cut slanted and rough spots left. My feet are rougher than before pedicure. Fell they did half the job. My advise Drinks were good work was very poor. They will not get anymore of my hard earned Money.

I go to the same nail salon every 2 weeks and came here with my best friend and her wedding party. Place is clean but they rushed through my dip nails. You can tell they value quantity over quality. The woman was in such a rush to finish my nails that she spilled the dip powder everywhere. She was too rough on my nail beds and left part of the previous color there before adding the new one. Very unsatisfied.

The people are very nice here but the quality of my nails were horrible. I got the powder dip done. Two nails fell off while I was washing my hair and I had only had them for a week. I went back in and they were very nice but only fixed the two after I explained to them what was going on. After they fixed them the other ones started to fall off also. I was not happy since the cost was $50 and because they fell apart within a week and have continued.

Went in for just a manicure and the technician did an excellent job well worth the money and the atmosphere was very soothing. Definitely will be making this a regular place to pamper myself.

I just left the place and the first thing that upset me was I asked for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. The lady says you know the pedicure is $68 right and I said yes I know. Thats the first thing that put me off like oh you dont want a cheaper pedicure? No I dont. So i got there at 3:57pm and i waited patiently. They got me in a pedicure chair within 5 minutes...ok no problem there. However a lady came in with her daughter and they were automatically placed in a chair and seen before me! They were a different race but Im not gonna start there, and I waited 15 minutes just sitting in the chair, with no water in the pedicure bowl. The after they finally came and put some water in the bowl they offered a beverage to me. Then I sat there with a watery beverage and did not drink it for another 15 minutes. Then I told them I was ready to go. I told 3 people that before someone came and got a towel for me to get me out of the water. The lady said she was sorry and that they were busy. I said yall werent busy enough to not check on me, and take those individuals that came in after me or even acknowledge me. Mind you there were literally 6 people in the nail shop being serviced. Most were being serviced at the same with 2 people. For example getting their nails (manicure) and feet done. This was the worst experience and worse service I have ever experienced at any nail shop. The lady stayed at the very end...do you not have time to wait? I told her that they did not value my time and it didnt matter if i had time which I dont. I expected to come and get a service and have that service complete within an hour and half. But 30 minutes in I havent been seen or hardly acknowledged and yall took some one that came in after me who also did not have an appointment, but you made her priority. And you blatantly disrespected me by saying you know that pedicure is $68 right? I will never come here again and I advise that you dont either.

I visited for the first time just recently and got a gel mani and regular pedi.To confirm some other posts, they do seem to rush things here, which is not a big deal if youre not sacrificing quality. It seems common to have customers sit in the pedicure chairs (which do not massage) while getting both a mani and pedi at the same time. The chair is not set up for quality manicures, so whenever the girl would place the gel light on my nails, it was balancing on a pillow or I was awkwardly angling my hand on the side table. There were two times when she placed the machine right on top of uncured nail polish, messing up the nails she just painted.One of my big toes on my pedicure is messed up, but I didnt notice until after leaving. Also, when I was told to pick colors, I understood that they had matching colors for gel and non-gel polish. I chose a color, not knowing whether it was gel or not. Turns out it wasnt, so thats what went on my toes. The nails do not match.It was not a horrible experience, but I will probably go elsewhere in the future.

This was my 1st time here. Wanted an upgraded mani with a gel set. DID NOT HAPPEN. My nails looked horrible. Then I got my upgraded Pedi and honestly felt like a regular pedi. This was Saturday march 17, 2018, today is march 21st, I have 5 nails that are removed because the lady failed to scruff the nail for the gel to stick more, my heels are cracking and skin is peeling up. I will not be back. The manager was not helpful when i told him i wanted an upgraded mani he said i didnt choose it when in fact they just were not paying attention trying to rush my friend and I out because honestly we were young girls. Prob thinking we werent going to tip. I complained how my nails were rough and how they were snagging instead of fixing it, he hands me a file to go!!!!

I really love the gel manicures Ive gotten on two occasions. The time and care given to my mani on both occasions met my expectations. The pedicures were ok. Ive never had to wait and was serviced in a timely matter. I drive from Desoto to Artisan bc I havent had the best experience locally and the skill set in my opinion is below average.
