Great install the guys were very professional and on time. keep us informed on what was going on cleaned up after they were done. Would recommend them did a great job.

Great product and installation. Both the installer and salesperson were very friendly and accommodating. It did take them quite a bit longer than expected to receive the window, but I dont blame them for this as most manufacturers are struggling with labor shortages and the aftermath of the virus. Overall, I would highly recommend Mad City Windows.

We were surprised that the installation only took 6 hours. The workers were courteous and pleasant. We received several calls throughout the day to check on the status of the job which was unexpected, but totally appreciated. We did notice that the grab bar is not level and there is a gap between one of the shelves and the back of the shower. We were promised by the salesman that wed get a curved shower bar and the workers said that they no longer install those so some disconnect there.

A very good experience. Installers were upstanding young men that knew just what they were doing and did it quickly and left no trace. It was like boom I had new windows.

The rep who came out was very knowledgeable, explained everything, and loves dogs. He worked and talked while our dogs interacted with him! Jeremiah was very thorough and stayed late at our house, answering every question and working with us within our tight budget. The crew that came to our house was done in 1 day! They cleaned up and installed beautiful windows. We went from drafty, rotting windows that were glued shut to weatherproof, tightly sealed, smooth open windows that look amazing!

The Mad City Windows & Bath crew (of two men) did a great job of installing 10 windows and a storm door in ONE DAY! Their original estimate was 1.5 days. We love our new windows!!

I could not recommend them. I have had to call for service 3 times now to fix issues with the shower after installation. The tub and shower themselves are nice and seem to be of good quality; however, the installation work needs to be improved. They were scheduled to be here between 8 and 10 am to replace one of the walls as it was bowed out, presumably due to the panel being too large causing a weak bond with the adhesive. It is now a hour and half after and they havent shown up. I called in to check on the status, and got disconnected as soon as someone picked up. The next time I called and got someone, I got directed to someone else who rang and then went to voicemail. I finally got a call back from someone, and they informed me that they ordered the correct piece, but were sent the wrong one, so it will be another 2 weeks for them to come fix it while they wait for the proper part to arrive. This has been a back and forth for a month and a half now.For how much they charge, I could have gotten a much nicer tile shower and upgraded the rest of the bathroom, but I wanted the lifetime warranty and didnt want to have to deal with the headache of doing it myself. At this point, I should have just done it myself and gone on vacation with the money I saved.

After shopping around for weeks to find a company to replace my tub with a walk in shower I decided to go with Mad City Windows and Baths. Best decision I’ve made. From my salesman to the last man out of my home I was treated like their best customer. When the job was done, they picked up all the drop clothes that they laid out prior to starting the construction. Then they vacuumed. They are professional, patient and knowledgeable besides neat and clean. Two week after the job was done I decided I wanted another grab bar. I called my salesman and within another couple of weeks I had a second grab bar installed. I would recommend this business highly to everyone..

I ordered 3 new double hung windows and they are beautiful! Installation was so quick and Larry was very professional but friendly and funny! The color matches my other wood in the house so well, its very dark wood so I was wondering how they would look. The ease to operate them is amazing after having very old windows originally. They really cut down on the street noise and I cant wait for my winter heating bills, my other windows were so drafty. And the outer aspect of the windows looks great, the color of the trim matches my other trim on my house. I would highly recommend Mad City!

I found Mad City on-line and they contacted me the very next day to arrange an appointment to review our bathroom remodel project. The salesman was on-time, polite, wore a mask and didnt pressure me into a quick decision. The product looks nice and was certainly an upgrade over our existing bathroom but I was shocked by the price. Im amazed that anyone pays $13,000 for a shower that is installed in one day. Im very happy for your margins but that is out of this world and have decided to go with a traditional tile shower.

We had Mad City replace our 70-year old bathtubs in two bathrooms with a tub shower and a walk-in shower. Then my husband decided he wanted to replace the windows in the house. So we went with Mad City again. We are very happy with the service and installation. The installers were very professional and got the windows (including a HUGE front picture window) completed in one day. (13 windows, plus a picture window flanked by two large windows that open and close). They are worth a look when you are getting bids for remodeling! Google maps is posting my address as Wausau. We were only looking to get a window repaired. A salesman from MAD CITY came out, he pretty much told us, they cannot just repair one window? OK, we thought this was a waste of time. Well this particular salesman (Ryan) took the time to explain to us the benefit of all new windows, the money we would save on our energy bills, how outdated our windows really were? I mean there is no way we could afford this right? He took the time to do an in-home consultation to show us his product & how much energy we may be losing with our old windows. Then the kicker zero percent financing & no interest for 4 years with a monthly payment of only $360? We could actually afford that!! These were top of the line windows made at the factory. So we took the plunge!! Our windows were recently installed by the MKE remodeling crew from MAD CITY, what nice people. 8 old windows torn out, 8 new windows installed and trimmed out in one day!! They wore masks inside, they remover their shoes, they covered the work areas with plastic, they vacuumed up the mess, we were very impressed!! Do not hesitate to take the plunge, we love our new windows!! Worth the money!!

We went to a local home show where they had a booth. We gathered some information and signed up to have someone come to out house and tell us about their windows. The sales guy was on time and very knowledgeable. We had all our windows replaced. The windows were replaced in April 2020. The installers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. We had a couple minor issues with the windows after they were installed. I called right away and they sent someone out and got everything fixed up. We are very happy with our new windows.

I loved the windows themselves, the triple-pane is so clear and keeps out the elements and even a lot of sound, plus the double life-time warranty is a big plus. Other than the actual windows, I was not crazy impressed.... I had heard a lot of great things about Mad City from other people who had their whole houses done so I was excited, but I did not have a similar experience. It was winter in WI when we were having our windows replaced, so we knew it would be cold, however we were rescheduled two different times, which was difficult since we had to take the day off of work each time just to have the appointment canceled. The third time the installer called to reschedule the day of the install and I tried to cancel the purchase, which I think is the only reason anyone even came out. It took three guys 9 hours to replace two windows that were in the same room. They didnt clean up outside, and they trampled my gutter downspouts so we had to replace them. We were also sold on the windows that once installed everything would be the same as when we ordered them, however they did not use the same trim, and used unfinished trim so we had to try to paint it while it was on the wall. We did call and complain about the install and the techs and were advised that they were sub-contractors, not actual Mad City Installers. Someone from Mad City did come out and look at the job, then offered to give us a break on the price because of the unsatisfactory job, however once we mailed in the check for the remaining balance someone from Mad City called us to try to collect the balance, which was the discount amount we were promised. As I said - the windows are amazing - but thats where it stops. The scheduling, installation, install crew and communication between the people at Mad City left quite a bit to be desired. We started with just 2 windows because it was already over $3000 and we wanted to make sure this was a quality product and we were going to get what we were sold on before committing to the whole house. We did not contact Mad City to do any other windows in our house after this experience.

Mad City Representative showed up for an estimate on 4 windows, 2 doors and a screen door. Estimate was fair we thought and was a good estimate. We told them we didn’t want to do it until next spring. That was fine. Bid was good for a year Next week another phone call from Mad City saying they wanted their salesman to come and could substantially lower our bid. Salesman came out and re-did the bid and ended up being almost triple the bid. We asked if they were going to honor the first bid? He made a call and they said not unless we had signed a contract. Asked the salesman to leave. Twice! Dumped his BLOODY MARY out, yep, DRINKING ON THE JOB! Don’t think we’ll be hiring this company. Not another call from them! Hmmmmm.

I used Mad City Windows and Bath to replace a walk-in tub with a walk-in shower. The tub was in the condo I recently purchased, but I dont need it and prefer the space of a shower. The work was all done in one day and everything went as planned and the final results were stunning. My experience with Mad City Windows and Bath was nothing short than wonderful! From the full one-hour presentation of their durable product to the friendly customer service throughout the process, I was as satisfied as a Thanksgiving meal! The project I had them come out and quote was for windows. Prior to Mad City, I had a few other companies come over for some quotes and it was a quick 10-15-minute ordeal where they took window measurements and emailed me numbers. Please note I have enough skilled family members where I was just looking for the windows to be made and I would install myself. However, nonetheless, I was surprised when the salesperson was in my home for close to an hour! I was happy to understand windows more and being a visual learner, the show and tell concept was right up my alley! The salesperson was able to answer all my questions during the meeting as well as after when other questions emerged. Mad City was willing to work with me for all my needs and came in at a very fair price! Their options for 0% financing was also a bonus as I was a first-year homeowner and realizing windows can be expensive. I was appreciative that the salesperson allowed options. For example, instead of ordering 10 windows, I was able to get it down to 7 just by converting some double hangs into sliders. This also saved money and before, I would have not known that was an option, unless the time was taken to explain. Another bonus about Mad City was the customer service. I called after hours and someone STILL picked up. I apologized, not realizing the time but had an urgent question. The customer service representative noted it was after hours but would have someone follow and call me the next day. Well, right away the next day, I had an answer. I was more than pleased with the work crew and they worked their tails off to finish my windows project in one day instead of having to come back as I had a busy day the next day too. Overall, I was treated like a person and not just a project through the whole experience. I would highly recommend Mad City Windows and Bath for any project!

Went to a trade show at Expo Center inRothschild, set up an appt. 15 min before the appt they cancelled appt and didnt reschedule. A friend also had an appt for a bathroom remodel, same thing 15 min before scheduled time they cancelled and didnt reschedule. We bought our entire house of windows through someone else who showed up for the appt. This company is a joke. Dont buy from them

We had quite large windows in our historic home that desperately needed to be replaced. Mad City worked with us on creating replacements that mirrored the old ones but brought us to this century. We are in love with the new windows and we havent even had the chance to see all the energy savings that will come with winter especially. We cant wait to use them for more projects in our home!

Had a new shower installed, very good work and a good price. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is I found out a water line they worked on was leaking into the basement a couple days later. They responded right away the same day and fixed it and replaced a couple ceiling tiles. Since that fix everything is working great!

They are much better than Menards windows, but you pay dearly for the upgrade. The life time warranty is very nice (and transferable) As a contractor of 40 years I believe they are worth the extra money. Keep an eye on the installers, they are definitely not perfectionist. Check for level, square, straight etc. I would recommend having a contractor check their work if you yourself are not comfortable with the installation methods. With that said, Im sure each crew is a bit different. I know I was glad I was standing right there during installation! So I would give the premium windows a 4+ star and installation a 3 star. I am purchasing morepremium windows from them, but again, I will be watching install very closely.

Project Scope: Removal of an existing whirlpool bathtub and installation of shower in its place. The completed project is good overall. You must be aware that the work is being performed by various contractors whom likely have done multiple previous projects, and you will be asked to sign off on approval paperwork as soon as it is done. Some time after the work was done, several electrical outlets in an adjacent room were found not working. Later, a licensed electrician found a 3-wire cable in the wall that had been cut clean through as if struck by a sawzall or similar tool. It is because of this oversight that a 3-Star rating is being given. You must also inspect the trim work of your project, for scratches or other defects that may occur during installation. I did in good faith attempt to contact the person whom sent the invite to post a review of this project, and there was no response.

We only had one installer and he had to revaluate the install of the walk in shower due to the tub and walls being uneven. He did a GREAT job of making sure everything was legit for our finished product to be in working order. Everything ended up looking beautiful and all the shower fixtures work as they should.

Seemless experience from the salesman all the way through to the installation team. After install and inspection there were a few tears in the screens which they of course replaced free of charge just like they promise. The windows are amazing AND we are already noticing a reduction on the heating bill!!! Would highly recommend them to everyone!!

The windows were way too expensive. The screen used is very cheap and had a hole after installation. They did come back and fix it though. The big sales pitch is that you’ll save 40% on your heating bills. We have not seen any savings. When the sun is shining it’s 80 in our house and I refuse to run air in May!! We regret our purchase.

Wanted to get an idea on price over phone or email. They said they couldnt do that. WE have to do an in home quote. Seems fishy. I just wanted to have an idea of price if its a few thousand I might do it if it 10k I dont have that much money and dont want to waste either of our times
