The staff is very professional and friendly. Quality work performed and prices are fair. Service is prompt. Hours of operation are good. Great location and very well managed.
He deleted my review, i went to go see him for something simple with my tire. He completely overcharged me to patch my tire, and only accepted cash. That should have been the first red flag. The entire experience was unprofessional, he takes advantage of women that go there by themselves. I would give zero stars if I could. Dont go here, avoid at all costs. Find an honest mechanic.
I’ve known Mike for 11 years, he has been my mechanic and everyone that I know I send them over to Mike’s auto repair.Mike is an honest person, he would not lie to you. He also is very friendly and very knowledgeable. The best thing is that he will show you the problem with the car and teach you about it.Also when he finishes the Job he will show you the old parts.I don’t know any shop that takes the time to educate you and show you the work done to your vehicle. His shop is very clean, you only deal with Mike, he is the only employee here and makes it easier to work with him.I highly recommend him.
This guy is totally dishonest and way overpriced. I took my car to have snow tire put on and balanced. He took my car somewhere and was gone all day. I called and no on answered finally he called. $189 to put snow tires on and balanced. In addition to my tire caps was missing. BE WARNED Go at your on risk.
Mike is an extremely honest, hardworking mechanic. He always explains exactly what needs to be done, takes care of it in a timely manner, and at a fair price. I have been bringing my car here for a few years and it has always been a great experience.
Mike is a great, experienced mechanic that ive been using to keep my car alive for several years. He is so friendly and accommodating. He does thorough diagnostics and explains things well, allowing me to make good decisions. When he completes the repairs he shows you the parts he removed/replaced. I trust him and his work and highly recommend Mikes Auto.
I took my car to Mike for brake pad and rotor replacement because he has great online reviews, he was helpful on the phone, he quoted the best price, and hes located in my area.Mike continued to impress with his warm and helpful customer service, putting my car on his lift immediately, showing me everything he saw, and walking me through the alternatives. He was able to get the appropriate parts in ten minutes and get right to work, and he had my car finished in less than three hours. He even took a test ride with me to ensure everything was to my satisfaction.I highly recommend Mikes service.
I never write reviews, but my experience was so good that I felt inspired to do so. When it comes to car stuff, I know the basics, but not enough to be do anything myself, and Im always a little scared to bring my car somewhere new. I moved, and needed a new mechanic.I brought my car to Mike in February to replace a belt. He did it, low price, and was friendly and explained everything he was doing. He was so kind that when my car started squealing again in April, I brought it back. He fixed it, no charge, and also caught that my brakes needed replacement. I thought this was the case for some time, but every time I brought the car elsewhere, they told me the brakes were fine. He took them out and showed me- corroded, rusty, not a good situation. He fixed them and replaced the rotors, and it cost less than half of what I was told to expect by friends who had similar work done elsewhere.Mike is a stand-up guy. He will do what needs to be done. Hes not a big chain, so his business depends on the quality of his work. I recommend him highly.
Mike auto repair has been my mechanic for many many years. He does a phenomenal job repairing and he repairs my car promptly. He has great customer service his prices are very competitive very reasonable I never came back from the same issue twice. He found the problems on my car that other mechanics could not even locate. And the repairs are done same day unless it’s a major repair two days Max. He uses genuine parts unless it’s dealer item only. I’ll recomend him to everyone.
Mikes Auto Repair is great. He is reliable and I go to him when I need my car fixed. He is honest and I trust him. I never had a problem with him ever. He is professional and very knowledgeable. Thank you Mike. I will be back.
Mike is a one man show, his shop is clean and organized, perfect customer service, he’s so polite & honest! He does an amazing job and for the best price, I was recommended to go there by a friend, all I can say is I’ve sent my whole family to him and everyone praised him, I would’ve given him 6 stars if I could!
Ive been taking my car(s) to Mikes Auto Repair for more than ten years. He is prompt, reliable, and honest. I am always impressed with the cleanliness of his garage, the quick turn-around time, and his courteous personality.
Mike is a very experienced mechanic who has been fixing cars for many years. When he fixes your car you can be sure it will be done right! He is also a good communicator so you can understand what needs to be done.
Horrible customer service. I would never actually bring my business here because I witnessed him yell at my friends (one being 9 months pregnant). We pulled into his lot when their car got a flat as it was the first safe place we saw. They would have had no problem paying the $20 to have him change the tire had he not acted like a crazy person. Instead we pulled out to the road (which he insisted we also shouldn’t use because he pays taxes on-??) and I switched the flat in 10 min and saved them $20. It’s just not good business-they could have been new customers as they just moved to that neighborhood.
This review is based solely on customer service and not quality of work. After getting my car registered, I looked for a vehicle inspection location. I pulled into a spot at this location and must have lingered a minute too long for the staff member’s liking. He bangs on my window asking what I wanted, reprimands me for not having the plate on yet, tells me he can bring it to his friend (kinda sketchy), and then tells me to move when I say I’ll go to another place. Zero customer service here.
They just want to empty your pockets.
Im a long time customer of Mikes Auto, and have lived and learned about good mechanics who know what theyre doing, and bad ones. Mike proved during my first visit that he knows his stuff for anything mechanically in any car, and he opened my eyes about how Id been ripped off by previous mechanic who didnt change part (O2 sensor that I bought myself). Mike takes the time to get every detail right and will proactively advise to save you from a major problem ahead in case somethings not done on time. Hes the best mechanic I know, and hes a nice guy, honest, and takes care of his customers.
I work next to Mikes and took my car to him for an oil change and other work. He did a great job and I trust him. He is honest and goes above and beyond to service your car!
I have known Mike for 16 years and he has worked on both my Passat and BMW. No job is too small which is a great help and Mike is very practical. My favorite story was when I backed into a snow bank and made a basketball size dent below the back bumper. The dealer wanted $1650 to replace the bumper. I said to Mike that it looked like you could just punch out the dent, right? Which is exactly what he did for $75!
Very nice and helpful, reasonable prices. Took the time to show me what was wrong and how hed be able to fix it.
Mike was really friendly and did a great job fixing the broken gear linkage on my Fiat 500 Abarth. He has a keen eye for detail.
Best place to get work done on your and reasonable prices. Professional guys!
Mike is one of the few honest and reliable mechanics out there! He always does a great and thorough job. Highly suggested!
On a positive side Mike seems a friendly guy and he will show up on time. The rest is not so positive. The shop lacks basic/ decent tools and he’s “old school”. If your car is less than 20 years old there is a high probability he will do more harm than good due to incorrect tools and procedures. As others have noted he will try to sell you -intentionally or not - repairs your car doesn’t need. The worse is that after any job (…very basic, standard jobs like an oil change for example) he always wants more money than previously agreed and - as others have noted - he will only accept cash. Showing up with your own parts is considered pure blasphemy. In the end Mike’s “experience” will cost you more than the dealership. To avoid.
I had a problem with passing my smog inspection on my Toyota Echo a few years back. Mike looked at the problem, replaced the O2 sensor on the tail pipe, took time to explain the feedback mechanisms involved to me, and charged me surprisingly little for the repair.Several years later, I had a problem passing emissions with a Toyota Tundra. This time, Mike gave me a tune up that filled every line on the receipt - from changing spark plugs and wires to flushing deposits out of the oil system and putting state of the art additives in my gas tank, insulating grease around the plugs, etc, etc. My truck passed emissions with flying colors, runs like its 5 years younger than it is, and I avoided a more costly repair that a cheap check engine meter at another establishment had given a false positive on. In a nutshell, Mike made my trucks engine buff. Its very clear that Mike knows and loves auto mechanics (and engine optimization) the way some people know and love statistics on the Red Sox or whatever a given individuals passion may be. And like all people who have the good fortune to do what they love, Mike is a real pleasure to do business with.
Mike is very honest and fair, and I will recommend him to my friends.
Tries to sell you repairs you dont need. Quotes you a lower price then charges you more.
Mike is the best mechanic! very friendly and always on time!!!
Rude owner- don’t go here.
Nice guy, seems to get the work done well but overpriced and will sell you a job.Look elsewhere is my opinion.
