I visited Capri today and got a cut, recondition, eyebrow wax, and manicure. My beautician was Allie H. and she was friendly and good with conversation. All told my total was $37 not bad at all. However I probably won’t get a manicure there again, it just wasn’t up to par with what I expect.The reconditioning made my hair feel nice but I wish I’d have been offered a magazine or something once I was under the dryer. I got bored and lonely lol.

I went here once (so far) for a facial. I was received well and everyone seemed really nice. I had to wait about 15 mins as soon as I got there at my scheduled appointment time, which is not too bad, but be prepared for something like that.They took all my details, my allergy information, medication info and such. My facial started about 30 mins after I reached there. The whole facial lasted about an hour (customised). Larissa was very sweet.I loved the experience and it costed me under 30$ including tip! (There was a 40% discount that Larissa told me about, and I jumped at it :D)Overall, I’m definitely going back every month!

I got an ombre here last year and Riley did a great job! It took quite a few processes since my hair was pitch black and I wasnt really sure what I wanted but was completely satisfied with the turn out. I recommended my mom here too for her haircuts and she always comes out pleased.

I have never wanted to write a review for anything, nor have I gone to get my hair done by a student. I went and got my hair cut by Izzy T, Im pretty sure that is her name, and she did amazing. I have gone to professionals who have done a very bad job on my hair. With the help of her instructor, my hair turned out exactly how I wanted! Thank you for that, and that girl will go far!

First experience wasnt the best, but today with Michaela (?) was awesome! Super friendly and honest.

I’m visiting from out of town and my children needed some haircuts. I decided to give this place a try because I hate spending a ton of money on kids cuts that never turn out well.My 3 yo son has SPD so cutting his hair is a hit or miss on whether he has a meltdown. Today was a meltdown day. Screaming, crying, the whole works. He can’t help it and he hates having the meltdown as much as we do. Nicole did a great job with him. She was hesitant because she didn’t want to hurt him and doesn’t seem to have had training or experience with SPD kids, but she did a good job keeping calm and did most of his cut herself. When it was clear both she and my son were overwhelmed, she got help from her instructor who did a phenomenal job finishing his hair. It’s not perfect, but it never is so I am very impressed with how much they were able to do.My 2 yo daughter got her bags trimmed up. She needed a nap so she was having a hard time sitting still and cooperating but Sam and the instructor were able to get (most) of her bags trimmed up. There’s one sort where it’s a little off and I’ll have to fix at home, but they were worried about cutting her or themselves by that point which I understand. I wish they had been able to wait a little longer for her to calm down so we could try again, but with both kids, it was a bit overwhelming.All in all I think they did a good job. I would recommend some training on SPD and ASD to help makes things smoother for both the students and the clients.

My first visit here and unfortunately it was a bad experience. I understand that these are students. Hence, I was not expecting the cut to be perfect. However, the student who cut my hair was inefficient and highly inexperienced. The student did a terrible job. I have gone to La james beauty schools and never had such bad hair dresser. I wanted to get straight bangs and they were cut way too short to be acceptable. The student appeared hesitant and was not confident. I should have stopped her right then. However, the supervisor decided to let the student (who was so hesitant) still proceed with the cut.

I love going there for facials and relaxing back treatments!

I went in for a massage for my car accident. I had seen a pt many times .The supervisor helped a lot .. the few days after I was so sore .. but the. After that my neck felt.better for at least a week . I was amazed .. Im going to go back again .. it has really helped qith the pain I have ..

Booking my bridesmaids and myself for full body massages for my batchelorette party here was absolutely the WORST experience i have ever dealt with regarding appointments. I called them a month in advance to make sure that i would be able to book for 1:00 for all my girls at the same time. Everything was fine until 3 days before the scheduled date of the appointment and they told me i need to either cancel my maid of honors appointment or move it to 12:00. I explained that would not work because she worked until 12:00 that day and i also let them know i was irritated because i had already booked our appointments around 4 weeks prior!! All she could tell me was that since the employees are students she cant do anything about them not being able to show up. Its understandable that they are students but MOST places that offer a service to the public will have backups to come in and work in the situation that one of the employees wouldnt be able to come in one day. I decided that i would just get mine done separately and i would let all the bridesmaids get their massages at 1:00. I went in today at 11:50 and told her i had an appointment. She then told me that i was not in the system. I asked twice, Im not in the computer? For a full body massage? Are you sure? She said she wasnt showing me listed. I then asked if she had my bridesmaids in the system and she told me she only had 1 showing up but they were trying to get ahold of her because the person assigned to her massage called in sick!!! I couldnt believe how unorganized they were and that they didnt have a backup plan for situations like this!! I told her to just forget about it because its just ridiculous. She told me she would be able to give me a credit for next weekend and i told her that i am not able to do that. Today was my batchelorette party and next weekend is the wedding. We were going to give them our business for my batchelorette party but they didnt have it together so i would go elsewhere. She then told me that she WOULD be able to fit me and ONE bridesmaid in but the others wouldnt be able to get a massage. I told her just forget it Im not leaving one out because of their mistake. I DO NOT recommend this place to anybody simply because this was a horrible experience and i have never even had a chance to get past the front desk. You would think that from all the money we would have brought in today they would have thought to make sure that we would be taken care of but that was not the case. I feel bad for anybody else that may have had to go through this because i felt like i just wasted my time.

Called 4/13/16 to start esthetics.They didnt get back to me for a week 4/19/16.It just makes me wonder how they treat their students here?I went to capri in Cedar Rapids They were awsome.They got back to me the same day and setup a tour next day.I went for acouple days.Tested it out loved it!.I also had family problems going on,They understood.They treated me so nice and like they wanted to help me.Ill travel everyday for hour and half to get treated right
