Very nice and clean! I was a walk- in and it was packed, but fortunately I got into a chair within a hr. Tommy did a awesome job! I got a fill in and a cut down. Tommy was super nice, friendly, was a able to replicate the screenshot I had shown him and patient with me as Im extremely OCD about my nails. He finished within a hour. And offered a drink while I waited to cure under the uv light. With tip I paid $50(I always tip well when I get what I want) only reason I didnt give Diamond Nails 5 ☆s was for the long wait I had. But other then that I think that I have found a nail shop finally after 4 yrs of looking since I moved here!

I really like this place especially for their pedicures. The selection of colors and types of nails is great. You can relax and have a glass of wine while you get pampered. The only reason i gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because the last 2 times i got manicures with tips they were not wide enough on more than one nail and they were crooked. I will still continue to go here but Im going to start watching very closely while they are doing my finger nails and masking them use the correct size tips.

This place is always busy because theyre one of the best. Worth the wait or book an appointment!

This is the best place to get ur nails done in iowa so clean and nice, the people are so nice and they say sorry, please and thank you. They start conversation when bored and the seating is cunfy.

Walked in and only waited about 10 mins and then got my nails done within an hour. The guy was patient and nice. This was my first time going and getting my nails done and felt great

I got a fill, fix, and pedicure. The price is higher but the service is great the staff is happy and they give you a punch card for $5 off your 6th service. Which is nice. Ill be going back for sure.

I go to diamond on the regular. Usually a good experience and this time I went in looking for a specific summer look but I knew it was difficult. They put me with Ken and we worked with each other to come up with something similar and still just as beautiful. Oh my gosh did he do amazing!! Beautiful dip ombré turned out great. Ken was also gentle and very friendly.

It was super busy today and as a walk-in I still didn’t have to wait long. They got to everyone and worked quickly, the lady doing my nails helped me do exactly what I wanted from pictures I brought. I’ll definitely be going back.

Wonderful atmosphere. Many designs and colors to choose from. The friendly staff offers a drink as you wait. My only con is it is more expensive, but you get the quality you pay for which is exceptional.

I have gone to this nail salon for almost two years & will never again. The worst experience I have EVER had getting my nails done. The guy made my nails bleed 3 times. The whole experience was painful. The nail tech was not competent to be doing so & needs to go back to school. When expressing my concerns the manager did not listen & gave me a ten dollar gift card. I explained they will lose much more business if they keep this employee working without properly teaching him. It fell on deaf ears. Oh well their loss✌🏼

After reviewing previous post I’m surprised this lady still work there with her nasty attitude. I’m talking about the lady that sits to the left, in the first row when you walk through the door. She was answering her phone while doing my nails. I was never offered anything to drink. My nails wasn’t what I actually wanted I just picked any color. Because I was so ready to go. I do know the owners and I love the way they do nails. Honestly, y’all are missing out on so much money. I’ve noticed this lady always have this nasty attitude with certain people. Please get this lady attitude together or get rid of her. There’s so many different nails shop people could be spending my money at.

WOW! Really blown away by the PROFESSIONAL service I received at Diamond Nails in Waterloo.Walk-in pedicure and acrylic fill, no wait. I called ahead, they were friendly and told me to come on in!Lovely, clean facility. Classy decor, not tacky like a lot of places.Tina did an absolutely amazing job: by far the BEST PEDICURE I have ever had and BEST ACRYLIC NAIL fill I have ever had. My acrylics are so professionally done they actually could pass for natural nails!!I found this business online, had great reviews and an impressive and informative website.To the other nail salons out there: this is how its done!To Diamond Nails: I will be back for more services, thank you so much!!

I had a great experience at Diamond Nails. I usually go to LA Nails and was not pleased with my last visit there. At Diamond Nails I just got a pedicure this time. They did a great job and everyone was very pleasant and caring. The facility was very clean. I will definitely go back.

Very nice place, but, I came with two other friends. They told my mom we would sit by each other but when she left we were all on different parts of the room. Me and one of my friends were not offered drinks. The person doing my nails didn’t make conversation, and put on one of my nails crooked. It’s a nice place inside, but I think they could focus more and if people come in together have them seated by each other.

First time here. I had appt for a pedicure and got right to a chair. I soaked for awhile but my feet needed it. After leaving I heard they have bunch cards. No one offered one to me that is my only complaint. I will be going back.

Me and a friend went to get gel nails and pedicure because I we wantes the massage that comes with the pedicure, they quoted us $24 as they were doing it they ask if we wantes polish I told them I didnt really care but he proceeded to pick a color that would look nice) I said whatever thats fine then the lady comes over and tells me that was gel polish n it would be $44 and I told her that wasnt what waa quoted then she informed me they would only charge me 38 and not give me the massage and was extremely rude, I told her I told her to just take off the polish and was informed that was an extra 12 dollars for the polish removal that was their mistake in the first place. I will NEVER EVER return it was one of the worst experience ive had

Great service! Specialist knew what I was asking for and I love how my acrylics turned out- she took her time and perfected them. Very pleased❤️ The only things were that one nail is not shaped quite like the others, and she was a little rough on my sensitive cuticles. But other than that I’d recommend to anyone!

This was the best pedicure I have ever had. Scrub, paraffin, hot stones. Wonderfully experience. I got the most beautiful design and my pedicurist was a perfectionist.

I’m had to wait an hour, plus when we got in the chair, I was not offered complimentary drink, the lady who was doing my nails, got up five times! She stopped also to answer the phone and take appointments 3 times. I’m have been going there for 3 months and observed how they have little conversation with black customers, they don’t treat them the same, they only try to sell shellac products when they speak to us. They try and get to know white women that look like they have money, everyone else, they don’t take the time to get to know and make all continuing customers.. it’s a nice salon just poor customer service..

Alex is always the best! Always does a great job, and while he is fast, he doesnt rush, and is absolutely a perfectionist. They have done a lot of remodeling and the inside is beautiful, and it is clean!

Ive been to quite a few salons around the cedar valley, and Id say that Diamond Nails does the best job and remains consistent each time. They take direction well when you want a certain shape or design, and it can be hard to get that kind of experience with other nail shops around town. Ive tried many of the new shops that keep popping up, but always come back to Diamond!

I went to get a pedicure and I had read really great things online! The atmosphere was clean, and welcoming, I had no wait, and all of the staff seemed really friendly. I had a basic pedicure, and the lady who did mine seemed to just rush through it. My nails weren’t properly filed or trimmed, my cuticals weren’t touched and they were really bad... she did basically 2 passes with the foot filer and on top of that really sloppily painted my nails. The polish got all over my skin, and the color is really streaky. I asked if my feet were supposed to feel this rough to another worker and they said that I could have them re-filed. Just from the way I was treated I don’t think I will ever be choosing to go back. To echo what I was reading- you can tell when someone doesn’t care and just wants to rush through. Customer service is a big deal, and anymore when people want a full refund on anything and everything, I understand where the business is coming from in not wanting to offer a total refund, but it’s disappointing when basically the whole service is messed up and not hearing any remorse about it. Unfortunately my pedicure looks like a friend did it and not a professional.

The best place I’ve gone! I was constantly getting compliments on my ombré dip, which was suggested to me by what I presume was the owner. My fill a few weeks later was beautiful as well. Never chipped or broke off and I am ROUGH on my nails. Going back this weekend!

I went here for the first time today and Im not going anywhere else for my nails from now on. I was hesitant since it was my first time here but it was great and my nails look amazing! Theyre very friendly and have lots of colors to choose from. My only thing was I made an appointment online and still had to wait about 20-25 minutes to get in but I didnt really mind, they were pretty busy and it was totally worth the wait.

Got my first SNS (dipping powder) manicure today and they look amazing (and were only $40)!! There were so many colors to choose from and the gentleman that did mine was very talented. I will definitely be going back here!

I got my nails done and they were too long so I went back to have them cut down because they said they would fix them for me and the lady was extremely RUDE!!!!!!!! she literally cut them down and told me I was done, she was going to let me walk out with uneven and jagged nails! If you’re going to run a business successfully and want people to return then take pride in your work and try to make your customers happy! I loved my nails before she got ahold of them and based off of that one experience I will never go back and I will NEVER refer someone to go to diamond nails!!!

Ive never had an issue with any of their work here. I would only get basic stuff done (acrylics, fill, etc.) but they always did what I asked. My daughter recently had acrylics done for prom and four days later, one of them popped off. Went back and they redid it for free. Would definitely recommend.

I made an appointment with a specific person for my first time that a friend referred me to. I was taken by another person after telling them I had an appointment with so and so. This other person took me and started on my nails so I’m thinking I had the right person. This person did the worst job I have ever had in my life. Polish dip all over my fingertips. Paid with no tip. Very upset!

I have gone here on and off for a few years. It truly depends on the person you get. Tonight I went in and the girl doing my pedicure kept digging her thumb nail into my toe so much it hurt and kept placing the lamp on my toenails so it was smudged and she had to redo it. I know they were in a hurry because another lady came and did my nails while I was in the pedicure chair and used the lamp with my hand balancing on my leg. After I got home I realized my toe was bleeding from the woman cutting me when doing my toes. The same woman did this to my finger one time and I had stopped going for several months. I dont know if I will return. I wish I could schefule with a certain person when I find one I like or request not to have this girl but they never give names, or prices for that matter.

The gal that gave me a manicure was super nice however I got a very pretty light plum color (shellac) that developed what looked like at greenish yellow coat the next day! Almost like it had cured too long!

I have been to this salon, but my expeirence was not as good as these people are saying. I went for a pedicure, waited 45 min past my appointment, left the back of my heels rough, polish in creases, poor job, told lady she missed spots cleaning polish off, she rolled hers eyes and started talking to the lady next to her never did take the rest of the polish off, then she did not use any lotion for my feet, i said Thats it?will never return bad service and attitudes

I went in for a pedi/mani and i told them i already had my toes painted i just wanted my feet scrubbed and they didnt listen to me and started taking my polish off then i had my nails filled and i told them they missed alot of empty spots on the sides and they ignored me and didnt fix them. I drove almost 2 hours to this place that one of my family members reccomended to me. I wont be coming back again.I dont know the name they never introduced themselves. All i know it was a guy. I dont remember the exact date. It was last week some time.

I am a person who is loyal to getting my nails done. Every 3 weeks, when I like the work. My old nail place seemed to keep creeping up on the prices so I thought Id try somewhere new. I went on a Wednesday and I decided to try a new place.. I got the lady in the 2nd row, farthest to the left. I could tell she didnt care how she did my nails, because she never asked if it was ok, she just did them and I didnt want to be a complicated customer so I just let her do her job. She didnt ask if I liked the shape or anything, she just worked on my nails and that was all. I dont get anything complicated, just coffin shape, long, and paint.. No design or anything. I paid $40 and my nail broke within 3 hours of getting them done and I also noticed that one of my pinky nails were crooked. I called and they told me to come back the next day. I went back the next day and got it fixed, I asked for someone different and they still gave me the same woman. I didnt want to complain or be rude so I let her fix the shape and the crooked and broken nail, they were better but not how I liked. I dont do any hard work for my nails to break at all! Now, 2 more nails have broken off! It is now Monday and Ive only had them done for 5 DAYS!! That makes 3 DIFFERENT nails that I have broken since Ive gotten them done! This is the WORST nail service Ive EVER had! I will not be returning, not even to get the other 2 nails that broke off fixed.. If I could, Id give them zero stars. I am very disappointed 😡😡 Money down the drain!!

Good atmosphere and quick service

First time here. I called and made an appointment for myself, my mother in law and daughter. My daughter and I arrived a few minutes before our Mother in law and I was rushed into getting started before my mother in law even showed. I sat down for my mani and shellac, before I could even pick out colors he was drilling my nails. I said multiple times I wanted to wait for her (mind you, my mother in law was not late, we were a few minutes early). My mother in law showed up and she was split up from me even though there were many open places to sit together. The gentleman that did my mani rushed through the whole service and cut me multiple times! I mentioned to him on numerous occasions that he cut me and I was bleeding. He completely ignored me, never spoke a word to me through my whole service. I noticed a few other women were offered a drink, the guy doing my service never asked. Not only did he ignore me but my whole “relaxing” experience was rushed. My whole mani and shellac took a total of 20 minutes. I was finished while my mother in law was just starting her shellac service. I am very disappointed in the whole experience and will not be back.

My last visit a woman was Very rude and unprofessional. Advised me to go elsewhere and argued with me. I’ve been going here too long to be treated this way.
