I saw Abbey for waxing at Beau Monde and highly recommend you schedule an appt. Prior to the pandemic and moving to Waterloo, I was a regular waxer (every 6 weeks for about 3 years). Sugaring seems much more common here, but I never had an issue with wax and wanted to stick with what I know. It had been two years…. I was prepared for the first time to be the worst time, but I want my routine back! I am so happy I found Abbey. She takes pride in waxing and could clearly and eloquently explain her choice of products and why. If someone has developed their technique in knowledge in something – go with it! She either believed me that I really did know what I was in for, or just knows the more decisive the pull the better. I was in and out of the appt without any issues. Price was typical and outcome was totally worth it. I cannot wait to go back. I probably talked her ear off, but I can see her being great with a quiet, focused appt too.

Smaller than I expected, but quaint in a sophisticated, modern way. Sarah S. was incredibly charming & professional. During the consultation she took my ideas & helped me turn them into a visual reality. She gave me the most relaxing scalp massage during my wash Ive had in a very long time & did an excellent job on my brows. By far exceeded my expectations, looking forward to trying other services in the near future.

The ladies here are all really nice and I have always had a great experience when getting my hair cut here! I used to bounce around because I never really had my own salon or person to cut my hair, but I have finally found the place! Prices are good, they do a great job with weddings/events/updos. They are who I trusted with my wedding day hair along with my wedding parties hair! Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with my stylist, Whitney. She really listened to what I wanted and took the time and effort to get it perfect. Even after two weeks my hair is still perfect! Ill be going there for a long time, just like my friends have. All of the employees were very thoughtful and helpful. Beau Monde is very clean and the building is beautiful as well. I found everyone was extremely professional while still maintaining that down-to-Earth quality I love. Also, their prices were very reasonable and are listed on their website.Beau Monde is my favorite salon in the Cedar Valley.
