I called for a price quote..sounded very reasonable!

I called asking about my car and the dude was just so rude and unprofessional he told me to call my insurance it’s clear they just like to hold the cars to run up the insurance

Rude customer service from the phone and no follow up. Wouldnt recommend as even a last resort.

At midnight (THU 27 JUN), they are assigned by my roadside assistance as a towing provider to tow my vehicle from Union Station in DC to Arlington, VA. I call & find out their ETA is 2 1/2 hours! I ask what is going on that 2 1/2 hours is a reasonable response time? And the emphatic response I received was Your insurance accepted that and it is firm. No explanation of so many calls, not enough drivers, etc. or any number of reasonable explanations for a 2 1/2 hour wait. Just a too bad, so sad type of response. So after I called my roadside to cancel this service & had another tow on the way, this truck shows up, but says USA tow so I didnt know it was from this call. They tow my car & thats when I found they were my insurance call b/c I had expected to cover the full cost. I was still charged $25 (which my insurance is supposed to cover it all, invoice states over mileage but I am authorized 10 miles, & Google says its 7.5 miles) and the driver asked for a tip. Oh, & when the charge went through it was for Georgetown towing. So this will be posted on both those pages as well.

I used Able Towing recently through my insurance company. The only reason I give four stars is because they came 1st with too big a truck and no jump box, although the request was put in for a low profile truck and need for jump. It took them longer than their ETA, but they finally arrived. Luckily I was in an office bdg & garage. Mahmoud, was very helpful and courteous. He even retrieved the night drop box envelope and stayed until I completed it and my pickup person was onsite. I appreciate the service. Able Towing, although they didnt come right when I expected, they were right on time.

WORST SERVICE EVER. Possibly criminal. These people A. Failed to find my car on the side of 395 (a major highway) the first time I called them out. B. Towed it to their lot in DC instead of the shop in Falls Church like THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. C. Then told me if I wanted it moved to the shop THAT ID HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 160$. D. During the time my car was sitting in their lot or during the tow to the shop, they PUT A MASSIVE DENT in my front bumper causing an estimated 1.5g extra damage to the vehicle (the damage went through the actual bumper) (I have the qoute) (picture of damage attached). E. REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGE, CLAIMING THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs unless youre considering a legal battle out of boredom.

One of the best Roadside assistance interactions that I have ever had (DO NOT BELIEVE THE ONE STAR REVIEWS). My vehicle was not starting and needed to be towed. After a failed attempt by another company using a flatbed I needed a dolley tow. The Able Tow Truck showed up promptly (even ahead of schedule). Gary was the mechanic/drive on scene and he could have not been more friendly and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently with the vehicle being recovered within 15 minutes. I highly recommend you ask your insurance company to go through Able in the Washington DC area.Most of the lower ratings are not from customers but from other drivers who had brief interactions with the tow truck during traffic or because their vehicle was towed for traffic infractions. Not at all indicative of the service they provide.

I got towed from K st for parking in a vendor spot (typical situation where sign was at end of block but I used Park MObile App and parked in front of the pay station) . I get ahold of the company and they tell me is $120 and the credit card machine is broken so bring cash. I show up and the guy tells me its $180. They clearly extort money from people. All around felt like a big scam that our oh so trustworthy parking enforcement is apart of. Dont give in to the extortion...

Are you kidding me? How dare you say not to believe the one star reviews. They are the only honest reviews on here. If any decent human being actually speaks to and deals with these people, you will be offended by the rudest people on the planet. What company hangs up on someone calling to ask questions?

Towed my car on a Saturday, refused to give it back on Sunday morning because they were closed (even though they were answering the phones and towing cars), and when I got there before they opened at 8:45am on Monday morning charged me for three days of storage. Literally had it for 36 hours. When I pointed that out and argued paying for Mondays storage they were beyond rude and told me they didnt have time to deal with me, laughed, etc. Complete robbery, I understand business is business but this is not fair or ethical at all. To boot, there were zero signs to find the dilapidated little mud lot slam full of wrecked cars blocking mine in, and no parking to switch out cars either. Was honestly cheaper than some other towing companies so Im hardly upset about the money, but the unethical charges and terrible treatment, not to mention the condition of the property, were the worst Ive ever dealt with in a towing company. Avoid at all costs!

Someone stole my items out of my truck and they failed to reach back to me under police investigation

Customer service here is AWFUL! After being in an accident and having my car towed here, I called to ask if someone could let me in my vehicle to retrieve my things. He said only if you pay. I asked why if you all have my key -- I gave you my key! He said well then the door should be unlocked just go down there and get your stuff! And hung up!
