Went for my birthday (12/17) and Tommy was the best. So much attention to detail and patient and helpful! Definitely will be back.

1st time getting my feet done a very long time, Nail Lux is a Safe, and very Professional establishment! I have Size 18 feet, and the tech did an amazing job on my feet! Cant wait to come back! A++

Costumer Service was awful. Employees were very dismissive.

Kevin did a really amazing job with my nails. He really took the time to make sure they were exactly what I wanted and the result was perfectly.

Was able to get my nails done without an appointment first thing in the morning. Other than that nothing really special. Paid $75 for a gel mani and pedi. Seemed a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Excellent Job!

I spent way to much money to have my fingers hurting from the way they were done, by last night. To only be told I have to wait till 4:30 today to be seen . Just to have nothing done. I was treated so badly I left crying. They tore up my real nails. Done wit them.

Excellent service. Appointments are recommended. They stay busy. The techs are courteous, professional and great at the work they do. Parking lot. Convenient location in NW DC. The service isnt rushed.So far, havent been disappointed. And, I have high expectations.

This place is family owned and you can tell they take great pride in there work. My manicure (power/dip) and pedicure is one of the best Ive ever had. My nails look amazing and they took care/time to get it right.

Totally acceptable manicures, pedicures, acrylic sets. Went with three family members, and everyone left happy. Very reasonable prices, too!

BOOKED & BUSY! Helen is awesome! She’s been doing my nails now for the last 5 months. She is very thorough and neat! She doesn’t talk too much and is very focused on her work. She is detail oriented and my nails last for a long time. She even gives you a little hand massage at the end. Thanks Helen!

The owner in this nail salon is very nice. And also does good nail. Also Tommie and Helen will always hook up your nails. And the staff is super nice.

I go there a lot and love how they do nails but not anymore.Yesterday I went there had 3 appointments for pedicures and 2 manicures we all got pedicures and only 1 person got a many when it was time for me to get my mani Kevin was like I have pedicure to do and the other lady said no .So unprofessional never going there again and then my pedicure the lady didnt even massage my feet and stuff that much the just soaked it scrubbed a little bit and then put the salt oil and cream hot towel for a little bit of time she half way did it then she put my polish on she did my feet to quick and didnt do my hands

My first time and will NOT be the last time. Kevin did my lashes and did an awesone job. Staff super nice and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Paid over 100$ for gel fill and pedi..didnt last over 4 damn days... nails not done well at all. Been here before and theyve done a good job. But this will definitely be my last time coming here... I dont play about my nails and feet, Im so disappointed the gel peeled off like glue.. I really liked the designs and colors.

Three strikes you out! Kevin is very unprofessional and expect to receive customer loyalty. How do you ask someone to have a seat than 30 minutes later ask them to come back in a hour. Absolutely Not. My time is valuable too! Quality and Customer Service is so hard to come by at Lux Nails.

I tried this place site with a friend. We both had appointments. First off the first 40 minutes nobody even approached us even after we picked at our colors. I had to go and get somebody to notify them that we were there. Im disappointed that I didnt approach anybody earlier but Im astounded at the lack of customer service regardless of how busy they were period why have people make an appointment if youre just going to ignore it out right? Perhaps give your client the courtesy of a call to say that youre running behind. When they finally took my friend for her pedicure, they warmed up for water and then walked away for about 15 more minutes. When she finally got her pedicure she was in the chair for an hour and seemed relatively pleased despite her long wait. In the meantime I was waiting for my regular manicure. I waited an hour and a half period If I had not been there with a friend I would have walked out. I made it very clear that I was unhappy with the service. You think it best they would have tried to offer me a glass of water or maybe shaved off a little bit on the price, but nothing. I will never go back here again. Im not the only one who seemed disgruntled here period I heard some people saying that they had been in the salon for 3 hours by the time they had their nails finished. Just very unprofessional.

David st Nail Lux is very thorough. He does a great job. My mani pedi is very well done abs lasts a long time.

THE WORST!!!! The bowls were dirty the man probably wouldn’t have cleaned it if i didn’t mention it. The “massage” on my legs was painful and not relaxing. The color choices aren’t good, the towels look dingy and dirty. Won’t be back

Ive been going to this place for a while now and for the most part I enjoyed there services and the people there. But overtime despite my regular attendance there ability to manage appointments and walk-ins have gotten worse . On too many occasions I have gone in and waited over an hour for a pedicure and then have to wait almost another hour for a manicure. While most people would have left or maybe came back another time I felt like the wait was worth it because they did a good job. On top of all the waiting, if they have multiple people waiting, they make a point to rush through you pedicure or manicure and make mistakes, such as cutting you. This was my go to place whenever I needed my nails done, it is close to home and convenient. If you dont mind waiting long periods of time even if you have an appointment. Have people taken before you even though they do not have an appointment and walked in after you, and dont mind being rushed through a service you are paying for then be my guess and give them a try. I will no longer give them my services or recommending them to anyone.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST NAIL SALON! They are extremely unprofessional. I was waiting for an hour soaking my feet in cold water, with only tips glued on to my nails. The service is piss poor. Kevin and his staff are very bad with keeping appointments, you make an appointment and youre still waiting for an hour or so. They also will ask you to wait, and then once an hour is passed ask you to come back tomorrow. This has all happened on too many occasions. Sad to say I wont be spending anymore of my money here!

Poor. I was not pleased with the unprofessionalism of this salon. I was not happy with my powder manicure. They DO NOT know how to apply the overlay on nature nails and the product is cheap. For $40, this was the worst yet and I have had it done several times. I left with streaks and numerous excuses.

Tried to visit this salon and they already had the door locked 22 minutes before the stated time on their door of 8pm.

I got a gel manicure and my nails chipped the next day. If I could give zero stars I wouldve.
