They do good waxes esp for beards... they also did a great job on my bfs toes.. Kim is hilarious and very nice. Would definitely come back.

I’ve gotten my eyebrows, nails, toes, and massages done here. It’s in a convenient Georgetown location. The customer service is okay. The technicians are like able. I’ve also brought my friends there.My biggest complaint is that during COVID the technician do not disinfect. I’ve seen customers sit down after one another without the business disinfecting the area first. If business is low, the technician will work between two different people. Interacting with them and not thoroughly disinfecting things. Therefore COVID contamination is very likely to happen here. After COVID is cured I’d be interested in their service.

Horrible. They charged me $70 for overlay. Take off and my nails were short. Same day they lift. My nails keep snagging on to my hair and hair under my nails. Worse service ever. Will not recommend. Over charged me and tried to rush with taking off my nails as well. Disputed with bank! Low reviews for a reason! I went there from out of town and worst choice I made. I posted photos. They are lifting like press ons for $70... will be sending these to the dispute department

We called and were told it would be 30 minutes they did not seat us for 57 minutes. Then I sat in an actual chair for an additional 25 minutes. The woman knew I needed my nail fixed and instead filed it and lifted it more. Then she had to use sns on a single nail that she ruined herself bc it was lifted and couldn’t be put back after she filed it. I was charged for her mistake. My friend’s technician was sloppy with the nail polish and didn’t correct the numerous mistakes properly that were pointed out.

Hopefully Im the only person experiencing this but Im not going back there for fill-ins. On my last two trips to get a fill-in, I asked for a Gel fill-in and she used acrylic powder but used gel nail polish. When I told her she used the wrong powder, she said next time I come Ill have to to get a full set to redo my nails with the gel powder and she charged me the price for a gel refill. She got made that I knew that gel powder is clear versus the acrylic which is cloudy. Its always a fight with her. If I dont like the way my nails look, she doesnt see anything wrong with it, but then say Its no big deal, it doesnt look that bad. I dont see anything Then when she tries to fix it, she has to keep removing and applying it because now it doesnt look good to her. Then on my next visit tells me she thinks its an old nail polish but shes still offering it to people. On top of that the new color she bought began peeling off my nails the next day. When you go to pay she always charges a higher price that whats advertised. I used to love coming to this shop. It was convenient to get to, the prices were on her sign were fair.I do not know what happened but unfortunately I will not be going back.

It is a low key local place with friendly personal. Have been coming here for a while for waxing and manicure. It is one of the few places I discovered in the area where the waxing procedure is less painful.

Updated 8/14: day 6, 3 of my nails have somehow chipped (I did a no-chip) and one is lifting. This is the worst manicure Ive ever had.I needed mine done in a hurry so went here--but NEVER again. She used a USED emory board that had someone elses nail dust all over it!!! Then she pulled out a ?used? cuticle clipper from a drawer. It wasnt in an autoclave packet. The place was dirty, loud, chaotic, waited 20 minutes. NEVER again.

Annie is not only extremely talented and professional, she is a very sweet person.

I went in to get my gel nails done, and first they advertise that there is a discount which you later find out there isnt ... and apart from that its been 4 days and my gel has already come off from 3 nails. Gel nails are supposed to last weeks. I was not happy with the service either, really disappointed.

ASK HOW MUCH YOUR SERVICE WILL BE. dont let them play with you when it comes time to pay.$35 for a pedicure? it was amazing dont get me wrong... but for real. And I saw they used gloves of which I am allergic to latex, I told this to the owner and she replied they were not. Lady, I know what latex looks like. A strong feel of dishonesty here, which makes me sad for the girl who helped me. I wanted to tip her but I felt already overcharged and messed with.

Very unimpressed. Went in for a pedicure since they were advertising student discount, and I am a student in DC. I decided to do the higher end pedicure (European), which was not anything special. Asked for a design, they dont do designs. There are no tvs and it was warm, so not a great environment. When it came time to check out she looked at my student ID and started asking where the school was, so I told her it was only like two miles from there. She yelled across the salon to some other lady asking about it, and I tried to tell them that there are many schools in DC, and it is one of them. They proceeded to tell me the student discount is only for Georgetown students. I told them they need to change the sign then because thats not what student discount implies! Will not return here.

Bad experience. Walked in and was told we could be seen in 5 minutes. Counter was dirty with old nail clippings. Tried to use tools that had been used on the previous customer. I had planned a regular manicure but stopped the appointment when I realized the lack of sanitation. Gross.

I figured it would be ok since it’s in G’town, but don’t be fooled, it’s horrid. Worst pedicure I have EVER had. Place looks semi-clean, and although you can see what looks like a autoclave, I think it’s a prop, lol. Go somewhere else.

They will have you pay for more than what is advertise. Service are poorly done, especially nail polish. Will never return.

One of the worst pedicures Ive ever had. The technicians were unskilled, slow, unfocused, and unfriendly. The physical space tired and not in good condition - not a relaxing environment. The only redeeming value was the fact that the pedicure chair actually gave a decent massage.

Took my girlfriend here to treat her to a pedicure and an acrylic fill. Excellent first experience, great prices and she was more the satisfied with the end result.

Went to get a refill and was told that I need to remove all nails first because I used powder instead of acrylic. I got another broken nail refilled without an issue. She clearly did not want my money, so I walked out. If I could give this place 0 stats I would.
