Tenleytown did excellent work, on time and on budget, but what stood out to me was their clear and prompt communication. So many groups in the landscaping space lack communication and management skills, but our Project Manager Jess was so responsive and helpful, I could not believe it. Happy to have found my landscaping group forever!

Super glad I found a great landscaping company after my move to the area. Beautiful new patio, new beds, they helped identify the plants in the yard and had amazing ideas for new ones. Looks way better than I thought it could, and theyre always available to help with maintenance and clean up. They offer so many services so I dont have to hire different people for hardscaping, trees, or lawn care. Customer service is a huge bonus because theyre all really nice and patient. Tenleytown Lawn & Landscape is my go to landscaper. They met with me on time and quickly chopped down a dead tree and mulched my front and back garden areas. They were truly responsive and did great work.

Way exceeded my expectations. My front yard had gotten so unruly I didnt know where to start, or what was a weed or a plant I should keep. The crew weeded and mulched so everything looks organized and we have some nice flowers that were hiding under the weeds. I feel really proud of my yard after the work theyve done, and the price was very reasonable.

We had met with several landscape companies (including some well-known names) to discuss our project and possible maintenance of our lawn and yard. Overall, the process had been frustrating and there was lack of communication and follow-up, and we felt we weren’t getting anywhere. When we met with Tenley Landscapes, we knew we had finally found the right company for us. They were responsive and provided a high level of customer service that we surprisingly and disappointedly did not receive from some of the other companies. We moved forward with Tenley and working with Lisa and Jess was great. They were able to get started quickly, their team worked extremely hard, and did an excellent job in a quick timeframe at reasonable cost. We are very pleased with the results of both the yard clean-up and the steps they built into the path on the side of our house. We look forward to working with them again and would certainly recommend them.

Great work at a fair price on a big job. Their crew has done excellent work over the past seasons keeping our gardens and property looking top-notch. With lots of trees, a large and sloping lawn, multiple beds, and wide areas of hardscape, weve had difficulties with prior companies managing the whole property while paying attention to details. Tenleytown Landscaping has shown such care and consistency in their work, ensuring our property looks its best. Highly recommended.

I have had Tenley come to do three projects involving hardscape. I cannot get over how beautiful my side walkway looks. It used to be old railroad ties, and now it is gorgeous stone. They also transplanted a Japanese maple tree early this spring, gave me care instructions, and it is budding as predicted. Thank you Tenleytown

Highly recommend this company! They have taken great care of my one acre lawn - aeration, overseeding, mowing, planting, pruning, mulch beds, walkways - they’ve done it all! They have always been reliable and fair with pricing! The team is great with communication and profressional! The work is always top notch and my yard and lawn look great - year round!

Customer service could have been better - used them in spring of 2018, did decent work. Only thing I felt could have been better was communication and them answering emails/texts.Still recommend them though.

We have used Tenleytown Landscape exclusively for the past nine years. They do our maintenance and had done several projects like two patios a wall and several walkways. We even put in a driveway a couple years ago. Each project was done efficiently, neatly and the quality, superb. We enjoy our yard and consider it just another wonderful living space in our home. We were disappointed with the customer service and final results of our landscaping with Tenleytown. I usually dont write reviews but feel compelled to do so after trying to contact Tenleytown and being brushed aside. We had a few thousand dollars worth of landscaping done on our back patio. One week after the gate was complete, the lock no longer locked properly, our plants starting dying a week after being installed (despite being watered adequately) and our wall garden was much smaller than what was promised. I had also asked on several occasions prior to the work to be notified of the day that work would start so I could let them in and show them what needed to be done. On the day of the work at 9am I received a call at work from the workers saying that that they needed to be let in so I had to come home, cancel a meeting and show them around. I wasnt offered an apology when I followed up with their reception about this. Finally, we werent told how long the work would take and when it was done we werent given any instructions on how to care for the new plants nor even what species we had been given. It felt like the job was rushed, it was poorly completed and contact with the company was unenjoyable each time we tried to get in touch. I would not recommend having work done with them.
