Dont be afraid of the location and outward appearance of the buildings. I had my King comforter and pillows shams washed and dried and they look and smell wonderful. I was surprised by the quick turnaround. I dropped off around 9am and was given a pickup time of 12pm. The costs was so reasonable and was able to pay using Venmo. The owner is also very nice. I wish I could give him more business.

The best laundromat in the chocolate city. The brother is real cool, and laid back. Its always extra clean, and the customer service is A+. You know its cool when they got the sandlewood incense burning😊

The machines lock so if you live close by you can just leave while machines are working and then come back when your clothes are done.If you dont have cash, you can send a Venmo payment to the owner and he will give you quarters.Also, the owner is really nice.However, in these times, I would like to see everyone in the laundromat wearing a mask which is not always the case.

This Giant is convenient to my house. Ive walked there on many occasions. I do a lot of my shopping at this location. The prices are higher than I prefer to pay, but prices are getting higher everywhere. I usually find the items that I need and will continue to visit this location.

I found this place on a whim, and I will be forever grateful. I needed a ton of laundry cleaned quickly. I made an appointment on late Thursday night, everything was picked up Friday and returned Saturday morning. I was offered same day (Friday) service. Excellent customer service and results!

I’ve used the laundry services of The Family Laundromat about five times recently. I have a lot of clothes. I needed some help getting things under control so I called and they offered to pick up and drop off for a small fee. That helped a lot since I am handicapped and I don’t have transportation. Each time, the total price was fair. I looked at other reviews where I saw that sometimes people are overcharged but this place will not do that to you.My last load was of five or six large green bags of clothes. I thought the price would be higher but it wasn’t so I was extremely pleased. I can continue using their services because it was affordable and they always do an excellent job. This time, I asked that it be separated and there was no extra fee. Now that my closets are cleaned out, I can put my things right away and get back to other important tasks.I’m not sure what I would have done without them. They really helped me out.Originally, I liked the name, “The Family Laundromat” but I also love the concept of supporting a local family business in Washington, D.C.I would highly recommend “The Family Laundromat” to anyone looking to not be ripped off and to get the job done perfectly. Wash, Dry, Fold, pick up and delivery from “The Family Laundromat” is one of my best finds in DC so far. Don’t waste time looking any further. They are awesome!

It was clean, reasonable prices, different sizes washer and dryers. But remember to take clorax wipes to clean out b4 you use. Because of Covid

I enjoyed the cleanliness. They are very polite & helpful. The young man helped me bring my clothes in and helped me put them in my car. I have called to have clothes washed & the have been picked up, returned & smelling good & folded nicely for a small fee. Great customer service.

Reasonably near a metro stop, friendly service (I bought a small detergent bottle and dryer sheets from them - handy!), and plenty of working machines in a clean environment. The only piece of negative feedback I have is not significant to laundry: sometimes the TV (full volume) is turned to a channel like TMZ which has shows that seem like absolute garbage. But hey, to each their own. I have earbuds.
