Did laundry there today and this woman came in without a mask on and and she was allowed to stay and do her laundry. But everyone else had on a mask. Dont made no sense, if she wants to get sick and die its alright with me but I want to be safe and live a little while longer.

This little place is very clean and affordable for the ones who dont have laundry facilities at home. Ive been going there for many years and always happy.

The lady running the place insists you can not use hot setting on washer...and will come change it to cold...the place is hot and she closes the door with a breeze I was standing in front of to have air while I fold and pack my clothes...the machines are just ok...clothes have been washed better at other coin laudrymats... regret coming every time I am stuck using this place....😔

Good, cheap machines. Very friendly people. Only downside is that they close at 6 pm. If youre in Columbia Heights, this is where I would recommend you go.

Needs longer hours. People have to work doing the day. Too crowed on the weekend. Need evening hours until 8:00. This would make a big change in people lives.

Now called Special Laundromat. First time visitor.I had the afternoon off and did laundry here mid-day. There were about four additional people that came and went the whole time I was laundering. Its clean and was being cleaned while I was there (sweeping/scrubbing the floor and vacuuming the dryer vents, which is good to know they do!). They have large commercial dryers in the rear and older washing machines on the right side as you enter. It was $1.75 for wash (I think $2.50 for the commercial washers) and $.75 to dry for each load - dryer costs could be more if your laundry includes heavy blankets and many towels.Ill go back. The woman working there is pleasant and helpful if you need to leave your laundry bag and grab your car for a drive-by pick-up.

Local clean laundromat. Large machines there also.

I went at 4:40pm on a Tuesday and was turned away even though there were six or more people inside.
