Sunshine was very helpful in helping me pick out something for my fiance. I have no idea about these things and she made me feel comfortable knowing I was buying something quality and unique and was not being swindled.

Poor customer service. They tell you one thing and do another. They are not very professional if they argue with their customers. We placed orders at the same time. Only 1 was returned in the time frame they gave us. They try to charge you for things that originally they will tell you are included. When a customer instills trust in you for a very sentiment piece of jewelry and you just keep getting a runaround. NOT good business practice. Family has been thru enough grief.Dont trust them.

I tried to sell over 500grams of sterling silver because a friend high recommended this place. I was treated like a thief when I showed them my jewelry-all mine collected and kept for a time like this when metals are up. I not oy was turned away FOUR times because whoever was gone for the day, or it was too late for the. To get everything out to do it (@6pm when they close at 7pm), and whatever other excuses to the point where I almost gave up on them but I still went back because I was told they give such a good price. WRONG! The man tried to tell me that almost half of my stuff wasnt even silver even though it was PLAINLY marked he said it was questionable anyway and wouldnt take it. He then offered me 1/3 of what I was actually paid at scotsman coin and jewelry which is where I always go and should have just stuck with. He wouldnt even tell me how much my stufff weighed that he made the offer on. I cannot believe how they tried to literally screw me out of over $200 on just silver. Imagine what they would do if I had been uneducated and brought them my gold pieces!? Never ever EVER will I sell, much less buy, a thing from this business.

The engraver, Amy, was very professional and engaging, and the one-week timeline for my order ended up only being a day or two. I will absolutely go back for my engraving and other needs!

I have recently worked with the jeweler at Altemueller Jewelry a I sold some family silver. The entire experience was very nice. He was fair in the transaction but more importantly he was patient and understanding as I had many questions. I was also a little emotional. I highly recommend the store, and specifically him, if you have any precious metals that don’t fit into your current lifestyle.

Altemueller Jewelry is the only jewelry store I will use. My family and I are loyal customers and we have used them for various things the past few years. I felt the need to write a review because this year for Mother’s Day, my dad and I went in to design a custom mother’s ring for my mom. The sales associate was helpful and was there to walk us through every step of the way. The process went smoothly and I was so pleased with the final result. My mom loved the ring and we brought it in this week to get sized correctly and it only took a few days. Love the service here. The staff even remembers me when I come in. Born and raised in Washington, Altemueller Jewelry was my 1st pick to purchase an engagement ring for my future wife. Upon entering the store I was greeted by two women behind the counter, I told them I was looking for engagement rings. One turned to the other and said do you want to show him the rings to witch she replied not really under her breath. From there the mood was set with a half hearted walk through of the rings with no real enthusiasm or effort. They made me feel as if I was wasting their time, or as if I didnt have money to spend. Well... they were wrong. Im 30 years old and again being raised in Washington iv always held Altemuellers to a higher standard. I didnt want to buy a ring from a big box store but after this experience thats exactly what I did. Went across town to Kay and spent my money on a beautiful ring. I did have money to spend and they missed out due the their poor customer service and rude employees. Very disappointed with my experience!

Every time I come here, I wait to be acknowledged with a handful of other folks. A simple Hello, be with you shortly or something to that effect would make a big difference in the perceived customer service.Everything from a cleaning, to repairs, to simply changing a watch battery takes far longer than one would expect. Its expensive, as well.Many of the staff Ive interacted with had an obvious air of superiority and pretentiousness.They got two stars because the place is well kept and clean.Ill be going elsewhere moving forward.

Altemueller Jewelry was recommeded to my husband by a friend. He had the best experience picking out my anniversary gift. I mentioned several years ago that I would love a pair of pearl earrings. With limited jewelry knowledge and style preference they were able to help him pick out the most perfect pair and truly personalized the experience. My husband and I are both truly greatful for their help and we will be shopping there together next time. We would most certainly recommend them to all our family and friends.

So, I spent a fair amount of time looking for engagement rings before I found the perfect one for my fiance at Altemueller. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The ring I picked ended up being one that their staff member suggested I look at.When I called in to buy the ring, they had a slight glitch in the system that caused my saved ring to be misplaced in their system. The staff, in hopes of fixing that hiccup, went above and beyond and located my ring with only a description from me.My fiance LOVED the ring, and Im so thankful to the Altemueller staff for the entire experience.

I had a ring made for my diamond from a 5 star company called Ivy and Rose in Chicago. I took my ring and diamond to altemuellers to get it set. The lady was quite un kind to me and stated that the diamond would not fit the ring and I was lied to. I stated there was no way this was true, she stated it was and they cant help me. After the shock of how I was treated I went to Brune Jewelers across the street. I meet their jeweler and he started it would be a perfect fit and they would be glad to set my diamond. Do not give Altemuellers your business.

I wanted to get my fiancés wedding band done made of my own moose antler. I was told on 3 separate occasions that I needed a 1 inch by 1 inch piece of antler. When I brought it in AFTER cutting it, they told me that I needed a 3 inch by 3 inch piece of antler. They said they would try to work with what I had. Four days before it was supposed to be done, the called me and said they needed a 6 inch piece. I asked what the other dimension should be. They had no idea. I cancelled my order and now they are holding onto my down payment and refuse to give me my money back until I get my antler back. So I cut on my moose antler for nothing and have to find somewhere else to make his ring in a two and a half month time period. They are terrible at answering questions and calling people back when they say they are going to.

I took my diamond ring in for repair (that has been in my family for 7 generations) to another local jeweler the end of May. They quoted me $258 & 10 days to get it done. As of 2 weeks ago I hadnt heard anything. So, I stopped by and was told just a few more days, that they had been really busy. Still hadnt heard from them so I called yesterday. Guess what? Still not done. They had it for 2 months!! I decided to just pick it up and take it to Altemullers. I should of gone there first. Amy was great!! I got an estimate of $100 less!!! She promised a better experience than I received from the others. And did they deliver!!!!! Amy called me this afternoon to let me know it was ready to pick up!!! What?? One day?? That was AmAzInG!! Their work was perfect and the ring that means so much to me has never looked better. I cant say enough good things about them!! Customer for life.

I went in there today and asked about a ring quard for my wedding ring the lady with shoulder brown hair was very snooty made me feel like a burdon. Hatefully said youll have to come back on Monday no one is here to put one on. So okay well took my business over to Brunes jewelers helped me right away and lady is super sweet and acknowledged my presence even gave me eye contact. I really used to like going into Altemueller but the service skills has really went downhill.

I got my wifes wedding ring and wedding band from here and was treated with the utmost respect. i was wearing gym shorts and a ratty t-shirt and was treated with nothing but the utmost respect by their staff. i have nothing but good things to say about them. i had to get her ring resized twice and bonded after the wedding, and they have been amazing to work with.I was told prior to walking in that Altemuellers is super pricey, and that was not what i experienced. everything there was quite reasonable! all in all a great experience!

Terrible customer service. I bought a necklace from them for my wife.. took a month and a half longer to get it then when they told me I would. Once we finally got it, my wife wanted a longer chain (the chain was physically attached to the pendant), waited almost 2 weeks to get a response about if there would be a price difference, never did, finally called them instead. The necklace was just sitting in an envelope with the replacement chain. Agreed that the chain was proper length and left hoping to get it back soon. 2 weeks go by again, wife finally calls about it and the tell her that they will get it done that day or the next. Had we not called, who knows when we would have got it back. Save your time and frustration and go somewhere else.

Terrible customer service. I am all for supporting local businesses. But that was ridiculous. Stood around for several minutes before someone even asked if I needed help and there was only one other customer in the store. Had a ring resized here and within a month it cracked where they resized it. They were going to charge me AGAIN to fix it. My fiancé also wanted to have my engagement ring custom designed here because he wanted to support local too. But they said it would be easier to just pick on from the case. He ended up going to jareds and they have been very helpful and great. Dont shop here!!!
