I applied to be a temp through this agency in the summer of 2019. I had several e-mail conversations with the recruiter, and went in with the documentation necessary. My recruiter was Calvin Brown. After having a meeting with Mr. Brown I was told to wait in the lobby to continue processing paperwork. Mr. Brown left the area and I sat and waited for the receptionist or someone to give me directions. Mr. Brown came back around the corner, whispers something to the receptionist while shaking his head no, and leaves again. Then the receptionist tells me I can leave and I never heard from them again. Ridiculous.

Not a very good place to work. If you need a quick in-between job for a few weeks then yes. They dont care about their staff. It is better to just apply to the schools, daycare, nursing facilities, ect on your own. Communication is horrible. Money isnt worth it. They will lie when it is beneficial for their needs. Definitely the worst place that I have ever worked. I do not recommend. I had no recruiter for months and was never informed that my previous recruiter was no longer with the company. Once I applied for unemployment since I they were no jobs offers coming my way, they sent a spam email to make me ineligible for unemployment. Even though phone has been my primary source on communication. They are very shady.

Tbh I had the worst experience. It’s a lot of running around and no communication on they’re end. I would not recommend anyone to this temp agency it’s a waiting a game. And you will always have to reach out to your recruiter bad experience.

I applied online for the front desk position. I got a call 1 day after I applied. The recruitment manager Anastasia Oatis was very friendly over the phone. She gave awesome details about the position. I love the company background and everything the company believes in. The pay was a little too low for the position to be in Baltimore, MD. I declined the position, but referred a friend to the job. Anastasia still reached out to me and wished me well. I would recommend this company for any entry level front desk candidate.

Its quick to get in. If they properly handle your paper work. I have encountered some very unprofessional behaviors on visits to the main office on K street. Its always typos on emails and text messages. I dont recommend applying unless its your last resort. Or your comfortable with a abundance of inconsistentacy.

Alignstaffing helped me tremendously!!! My recruiter Anastasia Oates was consistent, motivating and helpful in all areas. During my interview with her, I explained to her what my passion was and from there she took over! She helped me find a job in my field. Even though it was temporary, it still felt long-term. Why is that? Because I was never out of work longer than a week or two! Every job was similar to one another and something in my field of interest. Anastasia was always down to earth and completely honest with me no matter how it could affect her. There were times when she had a job available for me but would constantly ask how comfortable I felt working there before accepting the position. Anastasia Oates is really unprofessional. She called me and left a voicemail wanting to talk to me about a job Id applied for. I returned her call promptly. First time no answer I left a voicemail and wrote an email. The second time I called again and she did not answer . The third call came from her which got me excited but she didnt remember who I was ..once I told her, she gave me a bogus excuse saying she had to leave her office and said she will call me back shortly but never did. Im happy she didnt because if the people at align staffing act like that Im better off else where! Although the request for Teachers are in high demand on a daily basis unless schools are closed or on break; you have the opportunity to pick and choose your own schedule, determine whether or not you would like to work at a particular school, and have the potential to receive request from school Principals wanting you to return based on your Stellar Performance. Dont get me wrong Align Staffing is not perfect and they make mistakes but they strive everyday to be better. I still remember when I was recruited almost 3 Years ago by my Recruiter Mrs. Shelly Belton! Shelly showed that she cared within my interview and was willing to give me an opportunity to showcase that I had a lot of potential even while pursuing my Doctorate Degree at Howard University. I recently graduated from Howard University with my Doctorate Degree and definitely have future plans to pursue other opportunities but I still receive request from schools until this very day. I been with them for about a month now. After completing the background check and stuff, I will admit that I waited for a good period for an assignment but I just assumed that they was waiting for everything to come back. Not really sure. My first week of work was crazy in the sense that I was in different places everyday. This information wasnt new to me though because my recruiter informed me that the first week would be different places so I can get a feel in different environments. For the rest of the time (the 3 weeks after my first week with align) I was in one placement only because they had openings at their site and REALLY liked me and how I performed/ interacted with the students. My recruiter, Tyree is AWWEESOOOME. Love him in a professional way because he make sure Im good, does check ins and have given me a placement since I started. The hours I work is good and Im happy Im not getting or going for only 4 hours. Some other people from Align told me about their recruiters and Im glad that he is going hard for me like he is because I have heard bad stories and experience about others recruiters. I sometimes feel like I run my mouth about how good he is that one time a girl was like Im about to change my person . I was thinking to myself oh no, I hope she dont request my guy lol.

I came in for an interview for a recruiters position about two months ago. I signed in at the front desk, and was told that Ms. Anastasia Oates would be with me shortly. I waited for 30 minutes, and Anastasia never came to the interviewing room. I then went up to the receptionist to inform him that I was still waiting on Anastasia, and he told me that he would inform her. I asked him did he need my name, and he rudely stated I know who you are. I finally was able to meet with Anastasia, and after the interview, she told me that she would follow up with me via email to set me up to come in an shadow another recruiter. As a professional, I sent her a thank you email for the interview. It has been two months, and she never followed up with me. As a a recruiter of 12 years, it is the recruiters job to provide feedback to each candidate they have interviewed. This was very unprofessional of Anastasia. Additionally, the receptionist is very rude and someone with this type of attitude should not be the face of this company. I hardly write reviews on a company I have interviewed with. However, I think anyone applying for a position here should be aware of how unprofessional the staff is at Align Staffing.

Friendly welcoming staff. Tends to consider anything for contract positions, which can go either way depending upon what your looking for. The recruiter I dealt with seemed to second guess my background regularly despite having my transcripts and paperwork.

Its a shame how they play games with people assignments and money yet get a lot of people at once to make reviews just to make the company look good. Most of the recruiters are very young and dont give a damn about the employees and are nothing but illiterates. I remember working with one recruiter that was apart of the smart team she placed me out on an assignment I get there and they told me they didnt need me anymore. I kept calling her she was ignoring my calls and messages then when I called from another number she answered. I let all of that go. The next week she says I should report to another school. I accepted the assignment but then I had to cancel it because something came up and she started yelling at me. They also sent someone I know out to work an hour from her home for only 3 hours he threatened her saying if she doesnt do it she would no longer receive assignments. Rickelle needs to go back to her wack singing, Peter Doku is a rude slow fool. When you report these things to the manager Anastasia she does nothing about it because they are all friends and shes in charge of the circus. Bunch of unprofessional childish dummies

This company has A LOT of potential however, it will never see it because the management is atrocious! The entire company sells false hopes to their employees! You are led to believe you will be placed for employment, only to never be contacted again. The companys in-house retention is truly horrid. The recruiters arent properly trained and very unprofessional, the HR is dreadful and not compliant according to state laws at all! The management team obviously have no clue of the amateurs theyve hired! Anastasia who is a manager is a narcissist ! She doesnt care about any employees. she talks to candidates without an ounce of respect!
