DO NOT HIRE. I hired this company to do a significant amount of work on my house. Owner Emely Juarez over-promised in order to secure the work over other companies, agreeing to the following: In 2-3 days, for a total of $3,600 - $4,250, ECJ could insulate the attic, caulk the windows, service the furnace and AC, install new smoke detectors, address the water heater back drafting, fix the loose siding, and address the exterior cracking/seal/waterproof paint the interior block. I was then informed, much later, Im that, after paying $3,800+, they would not be covering three very important tasks out of a total of eight that they agreed to do, one of which was the most important task of all, and thats addressing the exterior cracking around the house/waterproofing. They continued to tell me - over the course of several weeks - that their techs were simply waiting for warm weather before they could come out, and when it did warm up, suddenly indicated that they had no intention of doing this work at all, ever.As if this wasnt bad enough: When I had the house inspected, it turned out they didnt even complete what they said they did - replacing out the smoke detectors and servicing the HVAC. They also then took it upon themselves to inform my prospective homebuyer that I needed x, y, and z additional work done on my HVAC when the buyer got in touch with them to ask about the work.Now looking into legal action, BBB, MD Guaranty Fund now. Hope that ripping me off was worth it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Great company. My company manages repairs on rental properties all over the country. We were thrilled to find ECJ Cleaning and Construction. Emely Juarez is very responsive, helpful and professional. They have completed several jobs for us (large and small) and always do an excellent job. Will continue to use them anytime we have a need in their area.

I am extremely pleased with the work Emely and her team completed for me. I believe the contractor’s name was Daniel. He repaired a large hole I had in my wall. He was fast, professional and friendly. If I ever need any contractors in the future they will be my go to!!
