Avoid at all costs!My experience: scheduled me for 7am, then called the night before to move my appointment to 8am. Around 7am the following morning, they called and told me that actually, the cleaners would be there in 20 minutes, and I had to be there to let them in. So I drove 40 minutes from my old apartment to get there as fast as I could. They acted like I was the bad guy for keeping them waiting after 20 minutes of advance notice!The actual cleaning job was just...so bad. This is a one bedroom condo; it can’t possibly be that much effort for a two person team, right? But they kept trying to upsell me for an extra hour, and I told them all I really needed was a deep clean for the bathroom, so $125 for one hour should work fine. When they were done, there was still gunk in plain sight under the cabinet in the bathroom. I contacted the boss, Sandra Benitez, and she told me they “can hardly do anything” (her exact words) with only an hour, and offered to have the team come back to finish the job for an extra $75. Absolutely outrageous; one almost has to admire the sheer chutzpah of intentionally doing a bad job and trying to extort more cash for finishing. Don’t waste your money when there are so many better options in DC.

I had hurt my back while moving and hired this crew to come finish the cleaning job so I could maximize chances of getting my deposit back. The landlord is indeed basically giving it back, but he said they only did decent. My other issue is that I asked for notice if it would surpass 200. The total was nearly 300 and yet I was told nothing until they informed me of the cost due.

Great service! They worked very hard, were very thorough with minimal instruction or oversight. They made our three-story house spotless. I would recommend this company to friends in the area.

Ive tried several cleaning services in DC, and DC Maids are the best! They do meticulous work, are communicative, and even made my puppys bed in her crate during their deep clean of the place!

I can’t say that they’re the best maids around but I can definitely say that they do know how to clean houses. They were able to do an incredible job the last time I used their services. My house was left spotless and smelling fresh. I’d definitely recommend guys to try out their services.

I have to say that I have had quite an experience with cleaning services in DC. I run a small business, and since I am understaffed, I hire a maid every week to do the cleaning for us. No one has ever been as good as this lady that DC Maids sends every Saturday.
