Im from Detroit and my mans Big O got me out the way. Been knowing him for years and its always more than a cut... its the experience you paying for. Plus, the other gentlemen working there are more than just Black men cutting hair, but authenticly good people. Theyre making sure D.C. Black Barbershop conversations stay knowledgeable and relevant.Cozy spot with dope lighting and right next to Rhode Island Metro Station.

I am very unhappy. I bought the pen razor and it came without any instructions. I sent messages through the contact form three times to no avail. Nobody ever contacted me. I finally got through via phone and I just want to return the pen, but they say they do not accept returns. I dont want to buy anything from a place that wont accept any returns or explain how to use their product. Never again!
If you need a cut ask for Chaun. He will take care of you. This is a very nice upscale barbershop. Its pretty small so youll need an appointment.

Morono cut my hair twice. The first time was 2wks ago and it was great. He took me as a walk in which hes appt only so I was very grateful. My avatar pic isnt recent but I have a shortcut. The first time of my visit I asked for a light fade, no edge up, and a 2 line design which he did. However, he gave me a hydrotherapy treatment I didnt ask for which I had to pay for of course, on top of my haircut. My total was $47 which I thought was absurb, but whatever. I truly got what I desired THAT day. However, I returned this past Saturday around 1pm as a walk in again, and he took me in again thankfully. Being pretty never hurt lol..Buy anyway, he asked what I wanted and I said, The same exact thing; a light fade, no edge up, keep it feminine, with the same design. He replied ok. At the end of my visit I quickly looked in the hand mirror without truly examining my cut bc I had to run and I just said, thank you. Now mind you I didnt get the hydrotherapy treatment as before (I never asked for it) but my total was still the same as the first time, $47...SMH. But being a newbie to the shop I paid it because I had things to do. After leaving the shop I kept my hat on pretty much the rest of the day while running errands etc bc it was cold out. I finally get home around 7pm and moment of truth.... I took my hat off while in the mirror and I had drastic receiding uneven edges I didnt want OR need, plus a masculine shape up, the line art design was crooked, and way too much hair was taken off. I was/am annoyed, disgusted, pissed, and I feel played. I didnt say nor do anything to warrant the complete opposite of what I asked for, more importantly PAID FOR. I contacted MoronO via ig dm AND his styleseat page cordially expressing my haircut woes and he never responded! That speaks volumes alone. I immediately contacted my bank and got my well deserved refund/reverse payment. I wore a hat to work yesterday out of embarrassment. Today, I showed my coworker and she said that looks like nothing I would want nor anything I should have to go wear! Ugh!!Long story short, I shouldve stuck to my female barber who listens instead of experimenting on a whim to be fluffed & disappointed.
