Im a frequent visitor at the residential building located at 1211 23rd St., NW Washington, DC 20037.I have many concerns for my safety, the safety of others and the lack of security in this building . Approximately a week ago while gaining entrance into the building, an unidentified male suddenly approached me from behind, reaching over my shoulder only to pushed the door open and dashed into the lobby area of the building. Not only was this alarming I nearly fell to the floor. There was no security on sight. I was startle and affected by this occurrence and took no chances going into the building for obvious reasons. I have a love one who resides in this building and Im concern for their safety and well-being. The owner of this establishment should strongly consider putting in some type of security to ensure the safety of all who enters the building before serious harm comes to anyone, because the current situation poses a risk to all who enters this building. I welcome any contact from this building establishment to address this issue.

Current management at Square50 is outstanding. Theyve always solved all of my requests in less than 48 hours, you can tell they care about the community in the building.

The star rating is for them not having pictures. I have to move soon and this is walking distance from my job. Please email me photos or answer the phone so I can schedule a tour. I DO see what others are saying about customer service and the weirdo of a maintenance man that works here but, I’m willing to keep an open mind with this complex.

Recently called about an apartment and no one has called me back. I left my name and number with 3 different reps. First few months in DC and its sad that customer service is this bad, I can only imagine what tenants go through. April 14th 2020

I have spent three weeks trying to get in touch with the leasing office to virtually tour an apartment. While they claim on the website that they are still holding virtual tours and selling apartments, no one has gotten back to me by phone or by email. Their call center just keeps telling me someone will get back to me. But no one does. With such great pricing and location I find it shocking that the leasing team is so disconntected. I realize this is a hard and unprecedented time, but people still need to move. By not communicating with potential residence they are making a bad situation worse. The worst part- I probably would have applied and moved into the apartments without a second thought just because of the location, it would have been an easy sell. Now I am just frusterated and telling everyone how horrible this place is at communicating. Not worth it at all.UPDATE: After calling the corporate office twice and DMing them on Facebook and Instagram, someone has called me back and sent me a very rude email saying there was a waitlist. If this is how they treat future tenants, I could never imagine actually living there.

I live in DC at square 50 and this management company is the worst. They are unprofessional and unreliable. The community manager is not licensed as she should be check consumer protection records! She is never in the office. The regional manager is useless and the maintenance man is weird and enters your unit without permission even when you specifically ask him not to. If the place was not so cheap I would definitely have moved long ago. I guess you get what you pay for!

Honestly, VERY POOR customer service. Ive been trying to reach someone since last year to see a unit and I have not heard anything back as of yet. I have emailed, stop by, called, I even left the handwritten letter in the office and nothing as of yet. As a last effort I scheduled a showing online to be proper and no one was in the office to meet me for my scheduled appointment. Its a shame because I work right down the street and this place would be perfect but the lack of customer service is making me think twice.October 4th 2021. Per their request below I did give them a call and I got the same message to leave a voicemail . I have done that multiple times before and no response. I have called the offsite office, the onsite office, left a note... You name it, Ive done it. No one is getting back to me. Very poor customer service. Its a shame since I expected better for a place that is down the street from GW hospital and University
