This is the most disreputable business I have ever dealt with! Beware! My 23 year old son bought his 2009 Cadillac in for service related to check engine light being on in early June. The service department had the car for over two weeks. Our contact person in the service department, Josh, was very vague with us to what was wrong with the vehicle, however, with the diagnostic they did the car displayed maney codes. He felt it was the BCM and said he replaced it. Meanwhile my sons life is totally disrupted for two weeks with no vehicle and it affects his schooling and job. We finally go to pick up the vehicle and as soon as we drive it home its starts the same problems that we brought it in for and just paid $809.00 to have fixed. We called the dealership immediately and Josh said to take it back. This time the vehicle was there over two weeks, which again affects every aspect of a young mans life when he doesnt have a car. We finally hear from Josh again that the car is ready and again he thinks its the BCM and supposedly puts another in. We pick up the vehicle and the same thing happens again -there was nothing fixed on the vehicle. We take the car back again and after Josh let it sit there a few days and several calls from my husband and I that this was the poorest service we had ever seen Josh said they could not fix the car and they were going to refund us the money. Returning the money to us was beyond unethical. Per Josh and his Manager Dale they could not return my sons money to his credit card, because it was company policy. We had to wait two weeks for the check to be processed. We werent allowed to pick it up either, it had to be mailed. Well of course we knew we would never see this check and after two weeks when it didnt come we went down to the dealership again because of course we never received it and they gave us numerous excuses about they were short staffed in the finance department and when we asked to speak to the Manager of the dealership possibly someone named Joe Pappa, because they wouldnt tell us who the Manager was we were only told he was on vacation. He was apparently on vacation the entire summer. Finally after three weeks, we still had a broken car and no check we put a stop on the credit card payment. They then had the nerve to call us from the dealership to say that they were putting a stop payment on the check they sent us! The check never arrived to us and thankfully we did challenge it with the credit card company because we would still be waiting for the money and the car would not be fixed. We then took it to the Cadillac dealership who were wonderful and they were surprised that Balise could not fix the car since it is a GM product. They also put a new BCM in the vehicle but we had to pay for it because they one Balsie put in was not under warranty because Josh or what other incompetent was working on the vehicle documented the car had 150,000 miles on it when it only had 110,000! So Beware before you bring your car there or buy a vehicle that may need service from this business.........now my sons car is finally fixed and he has his life back.

I brought my car there for a recall repair because I wasn’t allowed to use my own mechanic and I was forced to use a mechanic chosen by GM. They didn’t hook my air-conditioning up when they were done. I brought my sister’s 14 year old dog to the vet and the poor thing was panting the entire time. I told my mechanic (who also happens to be my brother-in-law and owner of the 14-year-old dog) that my ac wasn’t working, he fixed the problem, that wasn’t a problem until I brought my car to Balise for a recall. I’ve heard that mechanics mess with people’s cars so they get more work, I guess it’s true. I would never bring my car there for service again.

Bought a car from them about a week later the car starts making noise when backing up, I bought it to my mechanics and they did an inspection and they told me the car need brake services because they something wrong with the brake system since I had 3 months warranty I bought back to them, they check and told me the brake is good nothing is wrong with it. If the brake is good why does it make noise every time Im backing up day or night cold or not cold. They just didnt want to fix it because it would cost them since its under warranty. I dont recommend buying a use car from them. Last time using them.

Like others said, no funny business. They do what you ask, and if you say “don’t do something”, they simply don’t do it. Simple, straightforward, decent prices, excellent. And I agree with the others that Joe Papa is a good one.

If you get your vehicle serviced at Balise Chevrolet, you can always experience the best! Every time I have gone to Balise, theyve always fixed my issue and within a reasonable amount of time. Be sure you visit Joe Papa at the service desk. He will go above and beyond for his customers. Ive been using Balise Chevrolet for service for over 3 years, every time I went to Joe for help. He always makes sure my vehicle is in the best shape possible, and theres never any funny business, unlike most other dealerships.
