Pete and Arthur are two of the nicest people. Honest, hard working men. They have integrity and pride in their work. I highly recommend them to anyone with problems in their car!
Amazing, reliable, and honest family owned auto mechanics. Arthur and Peter are very professional and courteous.
I love these guys! They are honest & hard working. Peter & Arthur are salt of the earth type of people who are not looking to take advantage like MANY shops are. Im a single Mum who doesnt have a lot of money to spend on repairs. They have both gone well out of their way to help me out on separate occasions. Ill never go anywhere else!
Great service! Weve been going here for 10+ years and never had an issue. Absolutely fair prices and would never try to screw anybody! Arthur is great!
Great business for many years and have been getting work done off and on for awhile, honest, feel at home mechanics, that truly know what they do expertly, and fair, a no worry experience...🤗
THE MOST HONEST MECHANIC EVERI had my car towed here from Jake Kaplan Land Rover dealer. The dealer wanted $2400 to fix my leaking brake line (14 hrs at $148/hr). Peter fixed the issue for $282 in a day. My Range Rover drives beautifully. If I am ever within 100 miles from Hillsgrove, and have car issues, this is going to be my GO TO SERVICE CENTER.
Everybody there is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest. They have taken care of my cars for years and I highly recommend them. Arthur, Peter and the guys will take of your automotive needs and you dont have to worry about getting ripped off or taken advantage of like some other places.
Excellent service quick inspection solved my check engine light issues.Very affordable service .
Pete and Arthur are amazing, honest mechanics. Just go here for now on. Trust me.
These awesome auto mechanics are trustworthy, honest, experienced, professional and do very fine, excellent work for exceptional fair cost. When I asked for specific work to be done on my vehicle, Peter contacted me to inform me I didn’t need it, although, would do it if I wanted.Over the past few years they did whatever work was needed for two inspections in addition to oil changes, a tuneup, replacing my rear brakes, and, installing new hatchback lift support gas springs. When I asked for a quote to replace my hatchback lift support springs, they suggested I buy these parts myself and they would do the labor to install them for $20. I bought them online from Sixity Auto parts for under $20. Less than $40 total. I got quotes from other auto repair shops for over $180 ($140 for parts + labor). They refused to allow me to provide the parts. I saved at least $140 by going with Hillsgrove Service Center!!!If you want solid quality work done by reputable, ethical mechanics at the most competitive pricing, visit Hillsgrove Service Center. Peter, et al are reliable and will take great care of you and your car. They’ll tell you what you need, if you need it immediately, or, if it can wait in case you need to plan your budget for repairs. These guys don’t sit around and charge you for labor — they’re akin to work horses and get it done!!!
Great service. Great people.
Best Mechanics in Rhode Island. Fast friendly honest folks
I love how there are only 3 reviews, 1 w/o a comment, 1 that says theyre trustworthy & another that just looks fake. I brought my car here once... got it back with another problem and, of all the things to steal, they opened my BRAND NEW UNOPENED pack of cigarettes and left me ONE cigarette. Seriously? Come on. Such bullshit. Maybe its my own fault for not watching them work on my car, but I shouldnt have to expect/worry about theft from people that Im paying and trusting to fix my car.
Ill seriously never take my car anywhere else from now on. 09 Toyota Matrix with a whining sound coming from the wheels, Im thinking a wheel bearing. Its my wifes car, she takes it to Monroe, they say its a bearing. Im not fully convinced though because Ive done quite a few wheel bearings when I worked in a garage, different feel and sound. Finally take it to Hillsgrove, tell them that Monroe thinks it a bearing, he says I do my own diagnosing. Good start. He calls me a few hours later and explains that is not the wheel bearing, but scalloping tires, annoying but not dangerous. In short the tech was straight up with me, took the time to diagnose the car properly and in doing so saved me quite a bit of money. And for that, you guys will always be the first place I take my car.
Great service and very affordable.
Awesome work
