Decent customer service but marked down for not doing a good job at online orders. Lots of stuff. Reasonable prices.
Went there last week during lunch and got some great service! Not a lot of staff, but a gentleman approached me a few times down separate aisles and helped me find all that I needed,. The service desk paged him for an override or something and he said he would come back to finish helping me and did. Other employees approached us as well so he must have been a supervisor. In any case, I felt appreciated, thanks!
I have been shopping at this Lowes for years. I am not the kind of person to complain but after this happened a few weeks ago and then again recently, I had to react. I went in the store to the service desk to speak to a manager. When I waited 15 minutes and inquired again, they said she went outside and may be on break. I waited an additional 30 minutes and asked for her name, Brinn?. They said they saw her out in her car and must be on lunch. I left and passed the car they said she owned and saw her in there. I came back and hour later to talk with her and they again paged her. When she did not come after 20 minutes, I left and again passed her car seeing that she was taking a smoking break. This same scenario happened the other day. I needed a manager and Brinn was on duty again. She was paged and never came. I went out frustrated and there she was outside smoking in her car. It might have been a coincidence but the order I wanted to place will probably go to the competition. This is a good store with good employees. I guess I had some bad luck.
(For my mother) Richard and Ruby and the delivery guy are the reason for the 2 star score. This was the first time coming to shop here. Thinking that she could order everything she needed and have it delivered all would be well. But NOPE that was not the case. When she was placing the order in the store with Cal everything was great. It wasnt until they delivered it all went down hill. He was rushing to sign off on the delivery and it hadnt been checked. She called and spoke to Richard, his attitude was snarky. Then when we went back into the store Rubys attitude just added the salt to the tea! Just rude for no good reason. But Cindy came in to assist and saved the day. But after all of that with being a first time shopper in that store my mother has decided to stay at her store in Clinton Township.
Fantastic with the help and patience that I received there yesterday. I purchased a refrigerator and was immediately helped by Paul who showed me everything I needed to know in terms of installing my water line, etc. He was very patient with me from the start and was able to answer my questions without being pushy (unlike my previous experience at ABC warehouse the day before). I then was helped by David in the tooling dept. with the same amount of patience and knowledge. Very good experience there.
Very disappointed that it is up to me to do all the legwork when purchasing a new hot water heater! I am 68 yrs old and expected to provide adequate photos to the company installing the appliance. RIDICULOUS! I would think an $1800 would warrant better customer service.
They help me very quickly. I didnt have to wait for services. Workers are kind and courtesy. They sell everything you made need from bug spray to BBQ grill lots more items for home, garden, office and other things.
We had the best experience at Lowe’s in Warren, MI.Their online inventory was an accurate reflection of what was actually in stock at the store. The facility was clean and organized. All the staff we encountered was so kind! Specifically, Matt had an answer for every question we asked. He gave great recommendations based on our home project. Jerrett was so friendly and beyond helpful. He helped us load up 36, 16 foot planks into our truck- it even took multiple trips. They made this errand as simple as it could have been! We will definitely be going back in the future! Thank you team :)
I haven’t been to this location since it was Builder’s Square! I wasn’t there long, but I had a great experience. The two women who helped me were nice and patient and were the only workers I interacted with. So if I’m basing things on just them, I really think this Lowe’s has something special.
Employees are reflective of the companys core values. Employees are not only helpful but acknowledge their customers by a simple hello or do you need help makes for a enjoyable shopping experience.
My most recent interactions with Lowe’s have been absolutely deplorable. The lack of professionalism and customer service is NOTHING like I’ve ever experienced. I had two major purchases with them for installations which both were mis-handled and absolutely no follow through. This last time which was for a fence installation was the worse! I ordered it back in May and no contact whatsoever was done by the company to say hey your fence is in, we’re working on getting with your installer for a date and yet I get an automated call saying your fence will be delivered tomorrow. I called as anyone would because I had no idea about this and I have a major party scheduled this weekend at my home, and was basically told yea they’re scheduled to be delivered but you have no install date. Which means they were going to sit a fence in my driveway until God only knows when. I hesitated with using them after the experience with my doors which was very similar to this but I thought well maybe the fence installation will be different. It wasn’t it was actually worse. This is unreal and dis-heartening! This will be my last time dealing with them for anything, my lesson has been learned!
Do NOT recommend. Would give 0 stars for lack of employee assistance, even after having employees paged to my aisle and having non educated employees tell me they will send someone to help. Unfortunately, their competition didmt have what I need I actually called their competition while Ive waited 40 minutes for assistance

2 stars not because of bad visit but because every visit is bad in a way. how is it that they have such small parking space, god knows the have more than enough real-estate sitting empty. do they not know or see most of their customers drive bigger cars out of necessity. you know what Im making only one star.

I would like to have given ZERO stars but that wasn’t possible!We ordered flooring from the Warren store 6 weeks ago and have been checking with the store periodically for the last 4 weeks. We were told THREE TIMES that the employee would be “pulling our products today and then calling the installers. You’ll get a call from someone tomorrow”. Never happened! Just got a call from the flooring manager: “We only charged you for 1 box of product so you’ll need to come in and pay for the additional 16 boxes, then we’ll be able to schedule installation!” I just looked at our receipt and 16 boxes of flooring was paid for!!!
High as ever b.ut i alway go and see if they are cheaper than the Menards or Home Depot..normally its a big no..and as usual i went to get a pex tool it was 109 and 79 ..home depot was 69 and Menards was 59 plus 11%rebate. Just saying

Amazing customer service in paint. We had a ton of questions to ask before starting a major project. Chuck was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us. He answered all of our questions and then some. Because of this experience, we will be back to purchase everything we need to complete this project. We went back today for the next batch of paint and another man helped us. I didnt catch his name this time but he was equally as helpful and pleasant.
I stood in there for over 45 minute waiting for someone to come to the vanity/pluming area to assist me. 3 staff members walked pass me and would not assist me. They all stated that they will get someone to assist me that work that department.
Filthy and mismanaged are the best words to describe this location.Their not helping themselves either by only hiring Woke angry white women, which is an absolute disservice to customers

Came to this Lowe’s this now my 3rd time in a Lowe’s the 1st time I just walked out the 2nd time I was met by a rude gentleman in Allen park the manager Kathy helped me and made me very happy soooo I’m at the Van Dyke store I was helped by Georgious even though he seemed to be having a rocky day he STILL managed to muster up the best possible attitude to help me out thank you George for putting a smile on my face😘😘
This store has really gone down hill the last couple of years. It started with a mess of a delivery of my stove and dishwasher in 2019. Went in one day to inquire about purchasing a new garage door opener and having it installed and waited for 15 min for someone to help me before I walked out. Had my front door measured 10 days and no has contac me to finalize the sale and schedule installation. Call the store and cant get a hold of anyone. Ive spent over $15k at this store in the last couple of years and I think I might make the switch to Home Depot.
Cell person was able to help and get a discount on the item that I got.
We searched menards and home depot for a bathroom vanity with a counter top we could bring home that day. Couldnt find anything very small selection at both. We came to lowes praying they had one. We found not 1 but a few we liked. Reasonably priced too and super cute. We got to bring it home that day. And lowes employees went out of their way to help us find the right size. Which was way up on the high shelf they had to use a machine to bring down. Very happy we went here. Great selection.
Whole store I can see only about 8 employees working!!Have been calling staff to come to wood cutting area for 20 mins and no one showed up!!Unacceptable level of customer service ever!!!

Make sure you watch them like a hawk! If you make deferred interest promotional payments they dont automatically go to the oldest purchase! Lowes spreads your payment over all the promotional purchases regardless of what is about to expire. So you buy items at three different times on promotional deferred interest, you make large payments thinking they are going to the one that comes due first.WRONG! Its very unethical if not criminal!

Very poor experience. Went to the Southfield, MI store for garage cabinets. Saw the sign below for cabinets (2) that I wanted, advertising @$199. They were out of them and said there was inventory at the Warren, MI store. Drove all the way there and they had the cabinets but their price was $265 and they would not honor the price of $199 which was clearly posted at another nearby store. Department Manager (Joe) was not helpful at all and store manager was nowhere to be found. Very deceptive and very poor customer interaction. They lost a high dollar customer in me!
Came in looking for a new washer for the house. They had many different models, manufacturers and price points to fit ones budget. I meet Darren (sales representative) while I was there. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable. Caring, very helpful in advising me on the different models I chose. Problem though was there was a three to three and half week wait to get the washers I was looking at. This was the only down side.Lots of parking, handicap parking, restrooms. They accept cash, credit cards, debit cards and the Lowes credit card with special finance options. They even have a lease to own option.Unfortunately, due to the wait I had to look elsewhere to make my purchase

Specifically drove to this store from 12 miles away for a particular heavy duty wheelbarrow that online showed they had 8 in stock. After combing through the the garden center I couldnt find it so I grabbed an associate. He quickly double checked with me in the garden center and then went to the back of the store warehouse to search for the one I needed and came out a couple minutes later pushing the wheelbarrow. It was nice to find an associate that not only knew what I was looking for but where stock was actually kept in the store! This hardly ever happens at any big box store.
Went there a lot of things that I wanted had already been picked over. Need to know the next shipment day of new items. A little disappointed
The online pickup was at the front of the store and labeled online order pickup. The items were not what I thought it was therefore the cashier canceled my online order for me. The cashier in paint knew little to no helpful tips on how to remove old paint from hardwood floors. She did suggest I sand it out.

I not sure what happened to this store location but the employees are RUDE, SENSELESS, and lack total experience when it comes to any sort of home improvement. Absolutely USELESS. I guess with the amount of money the company is making and taking advantage of it just DOESNT give a damn!
Usually dont like to be negative, however, I believe that this was the worst experience I have ever had at a Lowes. I went there for some electrical parts for my house. Of course Im looking for a service panel and theyre all boxed no floor sample. 2 Lowes employees walked past me to pet another customers dog and then left the aisle. I finally was able to track down an employee and was told the electrician wasnt there and I would have to come back. Guess what. Not going back.
Finally self check is at this lowes location...which allows for super fast check out.

Awful! From the time I came in asked 1 person whom took me to another person and when ou asked about a replacement blade for my mower? She replied to the co-worker thats seasonal!! Duh!! If I could do zero stars I would. I WAS a loyal customer of lowes, spending thousands this year alone as we are repainting our home as well as other household projects. Now I will have to think twice before shopping here.I went into the store to attempt to return a 5 gallon bucket of white paint 34 days after purchase, I was not aware of the paint return window changing from 90 days to 30 days, that day started the terrible customer service. I was asking for store credit as we had many other things to purchase, but they told me about the policy change and said I needed to talk to a manager. The customer service representative then proceeded to give me a phone number, refusing to call a manager down to the service desk. I had to step out of line, call the store, request a manager just to be laughed at on the other end when they put me on hold. I hung up to call again, got ahold of the store manager, she wouldnt give me a name just titled herself as such, and after the rude conversation I had with her talking down to me over the phone, and still not coming down to the service desk to talk to me even though I made her aware of the situation, I asked her to give me corporates phone number. She refused, saying she wasnt allowed to give out that phone number. I then asked for her name so I could let corporate know this when I got their contact information. She refused the name, but she ended up giving me the number.I am a young woman, who is visibly younger than the average home owner. I went home, distressed and spoke to my parents. We all agreed that this was a good example of age discrimination based on the repeated events of disrespectful behavior shown by their staff. We called corporate and made an incident report, they had us follow up with an email. 3 weeks go by, bringing us to the beginning of this week, and I call again. Im unaware of why I hadnt gotten a response. I explained it to the woman on the phone and she transfers me to the refund department. The call got disconnected so I called back. The man who answered informed me that the department I was transfered to didnt exist. (I can only assume that it was a dead line.) He told me my incident was closed and reopened it. He said I should get a response within 48 hours. Fast forward and shocker, still no one reached out. I call back. The man who answered said it was actually 72 house but made another note. At the 80 hour mark, I finally get a response of them still saying they wont give me store credit. They didnt address the initial problem of the age discrimination or the poor customer service.All this trouble for an unopened bucket of white paint that couldve been resold and store credit that couldve been in their pocket too. Im extremely disappointed in the repeated neglect from their customer service team for not responding to two emails and then the lack of communication between the teams to let the discrimination and disrespect slide under the rug.If that is their standard of customer service, I dont want to be a customer any longer.

I was having trouble with an order at a different Loews and they ended up transferring my order to the Warren Lowes. I called the Warren Lowes, explained the situation and they said they could have it ready if I wanted to head over now. Order was ready by the time I got there despite the Lowes being just as busy as the other one. I wanted to thank the gentleman working curbside pickup for helping me get this taken care of!

I was a little surprised at checkout when one of the items higher than I expected. The signage and and product location of a little confusing. Because I wasnt expecting to spend that much at Lowes I didnt bring my Lowes credit card. The cashier was able to take my ID and some additional information and print me a temporary card for this purchase. Thats pretty cool and pretty convenient
I waited to get some service over ten minutes then I had another employee to call for help waited again ten minutes scooter I had used kept stopping every few mins. Not s good store anymore so I went to Menards
Most of the staff here seems uninterested. The service counter has some of the rudest people. Either everyone is always having a bad day or they just dont care. The selection of product in the store is good but for the most part, I just use this as a pickup for online orders.
Visiting family, picked up some supplies. The ladies that helped me were amazing!! Even tried to locate the driver of a U-haul truck that blocked me from getting into my truck. They are in the middle of remodeling and the store personnel are looking for ways to help!!

Love the customer service at this location. Theresa went above to make sure I could find what I needed. Shelves were well stocked with various household needs as well items needed for home improvement.

Stopped in for 6 bags of mulch and some potting soil. Connor, who was working in the Garden Center, helped me load up the 6 bags of mulch on the cart and select the potting soil. He then proceeded to push the cart to the check out and loaded my car for me. I am grateful for his assistance and he has a great personality!
