The staff was very friendly and salon was very clean. I was able to get an appointment the day I inquired. I had my hair colored with a glaze. I was pleased with the color but for $165 the stylist didnt even dry my hair. I walked out with wet hair. Ive never had a salon not dry my hair after coloring it, nor have I ever been charged that much for color. I intended to get my hair cut as well, but that would have been an additional $125. Its no wonder the salon, which has about a dozen chairs, was completely empty the entire time I was there. Extremely over priced. Would not go back.

Second time seeing Hanh for a cut and color today and she does such a beautiful job with color… and I really appreciate that she doesn’t chop off a bunch of length when all I need is a trim- seriously! Also, had a gel manicure at the SAME time with Lidija and she is also so talented! I was just asking about services and Sandy (at the desk) just coordinated it in a snap and all three ladies were so nice to me… so nice to go to a place like this with kind people who work like a team!😊

Donna gave me the perfect cut, and my nails have never been better. Friendly and comforting place to get put back together after the pandemic. A few days later Stephanie produced a shampoo and blow dry in time to go home looking terrific.

For amazing melted balayage with a perfect blend, see Hanh! Ive been getting balayage for years, and I have never had any stylist do as great of a job as Hanh. Naturally, my hair is dark and pin-straight. Im very picky with my balayage because any demarcation lines are so obvious and look horrible with my straight hair. Hahn did perfectly placed ash-blonde babylights over my entire head, and they look so natural! The blend is seamless, and I cant see a single demarcation line. Honestly THE BEST balayage ever. Thank you, Hanh!

The facial was great and the employees were very friendly, but I got home to find painful cuts on 2 of my toes from the pedicure. The manicure is already starting to chip a bit only a day later. I would not go back in the future.

While I am very happy with my color and cut I give them three stars because I was shocked at how much the little amount of color I got cost. I paid a $180 for a headband of color ( I have very short hair and one side is shaved, So really a half of a headband), and a cut. My advice would be to verify what services your getting and cost up front. I feel I could have gone any where else and received the all over color I wanted for almost half of what I paid for about 10-15 streaks.

I got basically pushed out the door when I didnt want to do additional costly services and wanted to continue my regular facial & massage schedule. I was surprised when both professionals cancelled on ME, even though I tipped at least 15%, usually more than 20% unless I forgot to get enough cash. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Luckily Im no longer local, as I will never return.

I have had a variety of services done at Daryl Christopher and have yet to disappointed. The atmosphere is serene and sophisticated and the employees are all professional and friendly. Hilda is amazing with hair and Ann-Marie gives a great massage. If you are looking for a high quality facial, I would recommend Olga. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Everyone was friendly but my gel manicure was chipping within 3 days. Unfortunately, the tech painted the color and topcoat outside of my nail bed so it was inevitable. I was disappointed with the outcome.

I went to a different salon first to get highlights, low lights and a cut. Walked out looking like a clown! I was so embarrassed of my new hairstyle that I canceled my Saturday night plans. Plus, I had a job interview two days later. I ended up going to an Aveda store a few hours later in search of a toner so that I could try to fix the color myself, where a very nice associate recommended Niki at DC to me. She was able to see me the very next day (Sunday) and fixed not only the color, but my crooked cut as well. My hair looks fabulous now!On a negative note, the new location needs some TLC. It looks like they havent yet hired a cleaning service. The other shocking thing is the prices! I had never before paid $70 to have my hair toned; thankfully, I had a $25 off coupon. Based on other reviews, I will likely never get a blow dry either if its going to cost me an extra $40.

Had a massage with Ana. Easily the most relaxing massage I’ve had. She was very thorough, pressure was great.Check in and check out experience was great. Every employee I came into contact with was very friendly.

The first time I visited, I had a pedicure. I was told that I had terrible feet, did not take good enough care of them, and should get a pedicure every 6 weeks. I felt humiliated, but I scheduled another pedicure for 6 weeks later as advised. The person who did my pedicure the first time canceled the day before the second pedicure. DC assigned another person to do my second pedicure. During my second pedicure, I was injured as well as insulted. The technician abraded the side of my foot so severely, I was in pain for days. They apparently did it on purpose so I would never return. I have never felt so angry after a pedicure. I hope those two people get fired. I would never recommend anybody going there for pedicures. For less money and nicer treatment, go to any other nail salon in Waltham for your pedicures.

From hair washing, styling, color and even a complimentary hand massage. My experience was with Vera. She did a remarkable transformation. Im beyond happy with the results. I had a WONDERFUL Facial by Larissa followed by the BEST MASSAGE IVE EVER HAD with Polina!!! I was on a work trip & decided to treat myself and was not disappointed- plan to go back when in the area for sure!!

I have no words to describe my experience at this location. The service was good and their prices were affordable as well.

First and foremost, let me express that I previously reviewed this salon about a year ago and gave the salon 5 stars hands down for their outstanding talent and top notch customer service. Well, lets just say, what a difference a year makes. If I could give 0 stars I would.Heres my story...Just about a week ago, I booked an appointment for a highlight (balayage) and scheduled it with Lauren. This was my first time seeing her. The appointment was for 5:15P. I arrived earlier than scheduled knowing that this would take some time. When I sat in the chair I proceeded to let Lauren know exactly what I wanted which was to lighten my hair to a shade of gold blonde balayage (my natural color is brown-black & I was well aware this would take several appointments to achieve). Her first response to me was I have to leave here by 7:30P and getting the color you want is not happening today. Certainly not the type of response I was expecting especially since this was my first time seeing her. In hindsight I should of probably taken that as a hint & left to save my hair from what was a nightmarish outcome. But I decided to stay, a decision I ultimately regretted.Needless to say after about an hour of application and processing, Lauren informs me that she cant fit me in for a blow dry and I will need to leave the salon with my hair wet. My first thought was how can you tell if the color came out okay? Well, guess what? It didnt. When I returned home after paying a whooping cost of $220 my hair was orange and patchy. Best way to describe it is looking at a strand of hair and having color at the top, none in the middle and then color on the end. It was a complete and utter disaster. It looked absolutely horrible to the point of embarrassing. In fact, I had to go to a different salon pay an additional $300 to have it colored corrected and fixed to look half way decent which is still a work in progress.Anyhow, after this complete nightmare I will not be returning to this salon. Furthermore I do not recommend this place to anyone unless your goal is to look like mascot clown from McDonalds. This was probably the worst salon experience of my life. Save yourself the agony and money, not worth it.

Nice the first time, not the second time though.I went to donate my hair for locks of love after growing for 4 long years and gave Vera a good tip after she gave a horrible ( almost chewed on my hair) diamond shaped haircut 💇 Without a sense of style, I wanted to donate 10 inches and without my consent she cut off more and there wasnt much to work with to begin with... then she ended up cutting more OFF adjusting on each side after side. It was like watching a horror movie.I was way too polite even though I was shocked beyond belief in the car seeing myself in the mirror and my husband called me An Amish man ! Yes, I did look like one..Also avoid Delaila for hairstylist ✂️... she almost poked me in the eye many times and very rude Matilda movie principal type woman, seriously!This place is nothing but a hype...staff are money mongers andVera was very impolite the second time. She made me wait over 30 mins to fix ( sorry, chew) more of my bangs 2 days later when the place was empty and clientless..
