Nothing jiffy about Jiffy Lube. I started my journey at the Lafayette Jiffy Lube on Mt Diablo Blvd. There were two other cars, so I was the third. They told me it would be an hour and a half to get my oil changed. WOW! As I was waiting, an irate customer pulled up because he just recently had his car serviced and his was leaking oil. In their defense, they gave him priority, so my hour and a half turned into two. So I left and drove to the Walnut Creek location on N. Main st (3 miles away) pull right up, nobody in front of me, but it still took close to 2 hours to change my oil. Again, WOW! On top of that, I was not allowed to use the bathrooms and was told to go to another business to use the facilities. Hello, I’m a paying customer waiting toooooooooooo long for a simple oil change….bathroom was right there, just saying.Friendly service, but extremely slow and inefficient. Moral of the story is if you go to “Jiffy” Lube in Contra Costa be prepared to wait, pay higher than you should and find a bathroom if nature calls.

I had a tire rotation and a high mileage oil change done. I was very happy with the service and the team who helped me was amazing they were very time-efficient and well-organized. I highly recommend coming to this Jiffy Lube! Most of time my windows are done really poorly at this location that they were done really well and I really appreciate that!

Best Service! To much cheaper than Toyota Service. Last month in Toyota service paid $119,71 for the same oil change. But in here I paid almost $63. They servis best than Toyota...

They were very fast and professional, but they misjudged the amount of oil my vehicle takes, and had to drain some out. No big deal, but they still charged me for the oil. Not the worst thing, more of a learning experience, but worth mentioning. Besides that, they saved me the trouble of changing the oil myself.

My experience at this particular Jiffy Lube is always a great one. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. The wait area is comfortable. The staff always provide a coupon for you if you cannot find one. They give you a brief history on your previous visit so you know what oil to get on your present visit. Wait time is short.

Very pleasant experience, not pushy about adding extra services, listened and shared professional opinions when asked.

Disappointed to discover that they removed all the keepers on the plastic covers over the engine on my wife’s Lexus RX 350 then never replace them so that everything just rattled and bounced around. Evidently they do this quite often: therefore after 20 years of regular and passable service there I have found a new place. Can’t tolerate shirkers.

I have come here a lot and I have to say that service has changed. I noticed that staff tend to work at a pace that only suitable to them. I noticed no teamwork everyone kindly work a negative response to what is required of the job. I pulled up and 4 cars in the bay and several car parked waiting. I thinking owners or company doesn’t read the reviews but only the staff. So give service the way they like. I have to find a different location for Jiffy I’m sure not all locations are not behaving in such a manner.

The masked staff have you stay in your car for the duration of your stay to limit the possibility of pandemic spread. This is good for those who have put off an oil change due to Covid fears, disappointing if you want to get a coffee next door.

Misadvertising and misinforming.They did not honor the $20 off promotion printed on the banner. They said bringing your own filter will reduce the price. There was a $60 difference between the initial quoted price and the actual price.

Good for an oil change, but not much else. I changed my transmission fluid myself, took it here for an oil change, and they said the transmission fluid was dirty and needed changing, among other other services they recommended. When I checked it at home, the fluid was clean and bright red. They also said they vacuumed it, but that didnt happen. That said, Ive gone back two more times for oil changes, because thats all I want and theyre fast and cheap.

Have gone to this Jiffy Lube for 2 years. Brought in my husbands car for the first time in January. By February the fluid light was on. Took it to the mechanic and he pointed out the coolant had not been filled in at least 6 months and we could have blown a cylinder (turbo). Theyve been totally reliable for 2 years before with quick service and nice guys... but I cant go back after that kind of screw up.

Called for oil change price out the door. Was quoted $39.99Woman brings ticket when my oil is draining of $60.54 holding my air filter, which I did not request being changed. Said $30.00 for a new $one. My response, no. Will knock $10.00 off. Lost all credibility. Will not return! Price was reduced to $44.91.

Do not use Jiffy Lube or this service location in particular. I went through several weeks of unprofessional behavior with this location after they damaged my engine due to a terrible oil change from negligence. They offered to replace the engine and reimburse any cost incurred for travel due to the fact I use my car for work. They only reimbursed me a small amount and not the original amount provided from saved receipts. I had to contact them throughout the whole process for my engine replacement and still had to ask for proper warranties for everything. Stick with proper mechanics and professionals and do not take your car to this company for any repairs. They will take your time and money away. I wish I could give them no stars at all.

Amazing first experience, got an oil change and tire rotation. They vacuumed and washed the windows even. Very fast service and quality seemed like the priority, will definitely come back.

Got an oil change here. On the way to Sacramento, I ran out of oil on the freeway. After a fun day, getting someone to come get me and witnessing oil literally stream out of my car onto the ground upon putting more oil in, I get told by a repair place that Jiffy Lube screwed up. Seems they do this stuff often.Anyways, Im lucky my engine didnt explode and I didnt get injured considering I was on the freeway when my car started freaking out.Jiffy Lube refuses to make it right and pay for expenses. They blame me for not contacting them and bringing it to a Jiffy Lube location after running out of oil because of their screw up.Anyways, I contacted the Bureau of Automotive repairs (turns out their license is on probation for this location). Next step is to take them to small claims court. Ill update this when everything is done.

Ive been here a few times. Theyre always fast and helpful.

This last visit at Jiffy Lube was awful. The manager clearly did not like her job. They were all out of customer stuff like coffee or tea or anything. The manager said yeah were still waiting for the shipment. Ok.Then they even had no soap in the bathroom, and when I mentioned about the soap being out to the manager said again in the same I dont care tone, yeah were still waiting for the shipment. (I thought she would have said thanks for letting me know, well have someone refill it?)Anyway, on my few other visits they seemed great. The place seemed cared for and the staff acted like they enjoyed their work.I noticed most of the workers looked different then before so I guess they get allot of worker turnover. (Or maybe theyre going out of business? Anyway, thats what it felt like to me on that visit. But I think that they get too much good business for that?) So ultimately I guess going to this Jiffy Lube is a hit or miss thing.At least my oil seemed to be changed correctly?I personally will try someplace else from now on because Im looking for both quality and consistency. I had went to the dealer for my previous oil change and had a full service done so I knew there was nothing complicated wrong. I just wanted a quick reliable oil change. I also want a reasonable price, but it does not have to be the cheapest around.Just a quick and reliable oil change in-between dealer services. Its not this Jiffy Lube. However I dont know where else that place might be yet???

Fast and clean service

Incorrectly reassembled air intake hose after oil change. I had to have car towed to dealer 20 miles away. Dealer confirmed after oil change reassembly was not done correctly. Cost for tow and repair came to ~$150. Jiffy Lube denied responsibility. Very poor training and management at this facility.

They tired to sell me a engine filter and cabin filter which was changed on 15K miles ago by Toyota. These filters are good for 50K miles. I would only recommend Jiffy Lube if you have a $10 coupon on the oil change.

Changed my oil there. Worst mistake eve. They replace my drain plug for NO reason. Didnt tell me. Car is now leaking. Took it back they refuse to help. AVOID JIFFY LUBES EVERYWHERE! Employees are provided little training, they do not care about your car or your safety. There is no pride in their work!

Do not go here they will overcharge and give you things you didnt ask for. All i wanted was an oil change, I told Kevin that. The manager snuck in filters i didnt ask for. They take advantage of you here.

Came to get oil changed at 9:10 am when they opened and it took 75 min to get my service. They did not share with me that they were short staffed and they were very rude.

A bit pricy, but that is jiffy lube in general due to which service. Friendly staff that explain everything well and willing to take their time if you have questions or ask for something to be different it changed.

My wife went there for an oil change and they took advantage of her while she was distracted taking care of our baby. They said there were a bunch of stuff to change and tried to charge her $400! Of course, they did not give any estimation before starting to work on the car. She complained about the price and they acted like it was a mistake saying the bill was not the right one and then they came back with another one of $200! How professional is that? How much trust can these people expect from their clients? I was worried to let my wife go by herself and get ripped off, well, finally it is exactly what happened!

My wife went to get an oil change there 2 weeks ago. Now my car is leaking oil. It didnt leak before the oil change. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

Lets be honest, nobody likes getting their oil changed, but its a necessary evil. These guys get busy, but even when theres a line they still get me in and out fairly quickly. And theres always online coupons.
