Have been a Honda customer for about 10 years now & let me tell you....Walnut Creek Honda is the ABSOLUTE BEST! From the beginning to end, its literally like family. Sales Dept. works with you in finding a suitable fit for your needs and budget. Its not like other dealerships where you feel pressured and it becomes a chore to shop for a car. And the Service Dept. is OUTSTANDING! Literally no other way to describe them. David Gordon and the entire team always goes above and beyond to take care of me & our car. They are so friendly and even provide a shuttle if you need a ride. They are just wonderful!

Can’t say enough good things about Walnut Creek Honda and David Klenow. I live in Southern California and made the trip up to go to Walnut Creek Honda since I’ve previously dealt with them before. They offer wonderful customer service and David made the process so so easy. I essentially just needed to sign some paperwork when I came in as he had collected all the other info he needed ahead of time. Will definitely go back to them again in 3 years once my lease is up!

Came in for my appointment on a recall for starter switch. Even called an hour ahead to confirm. They check me in and then tell me they are out of the switches and I have to leave my truck overnight. No way. No courtesy. Never informed me.

I can’t thank the service staff enough. Dealing with new-car troubles instantly brings out stress, anxiety, and a world of uncertainty. I contacted the Walnut Creek Honda service department inquired about a part, I assumed was the lead cause of my problem. After several hours of research I determined that my turbo had gone out. It turns out the service director agreed, based on the symptoms my diagnosis was 99% most likely correct. Upon further investigation, the service director says “if we are correct, and your turbo is the main cause of all the symptoms, it will all be covered under warranty.” I had my car towed to Walnut Creek Honda, authorized a tear down, and the rest was history. Honda covered the cost 100% and even detailed my baby inside and out. As stated above, I can’t thank them enough. Thank you for not looking the other way. Thank you for restoring my car and most importantly for restoring my trust in the brand my family and I love and trust as far back as I can remember. Honda has proven to be reliable once again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Im so glad I didnt waste my time by going to this dealership. At first I was going to go there directly and had scheduled an appointment with Zack but due to COVID, I decided to reach out to several local dealerships via email to get the best OTD price for a 2020 Honda Fit EX-L.Prior to my appointment, I told Zack the lowest offer I had and asked him if WC Honda could make a better offer. He told me he couldnt send a response to me since he wasnt at work to draw up the numbers. A sales manager called me instead and said the best OTD price they could offer would be 1.2K over the lowest offer I had. Thats ridiculous! They really couldnt at least match?Zack then reached out to me and said if the dealership I was going to tried anything sleazy, I could still stop by.I went to AutoNation Honda Fremont where I had the lowest offer and Im so glad I did. Fremont Honda was honest, offered the best price, and they even had better inventory.

Top-notch service department. After 3 years of going here, Im moving away and sad I need to find a new Honda service center.I have a background in warranty and service quality, although not in automotive. Im convinced they have a good company culture. They are customer-focused, transparent, efficient -- and incredibly consistent. I never had a bad experience. Charges are always fair and explained clearly before I pay.I always use the shuttle rides. They set it up, then call when they leave and when they arrive. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the drivers and service personnel all wear masks and follow good safety protocols in the shop.Dave and Paul are knowledgeable, good advisors. Specifically, Dave helped advise what to do when I observed a problem with my A/C. Thanks to him, we decided to troubleshoot, had it repaired, and it was partially covered by Honda outside of warranty. Paul advised on which services were best to prepare my car for a cross-country drive in winter, based on my vehicle diagnostic history.This place really earned the 5 stars, and I wish I had found them sooner.

I have never been to this place so maybe its different when youre in store. But I had a couple of employees of this branch, one of whom I believe was management, come to my house to take care of a warranty issue. And it just could not have been a worse experience. They showed up unannounced at about 7:50 am. We dont get off work until midnight so my husband and I were both still asleep. Nevertheless, the two employees banged on our door and rang our bell for - not exaggerating - probably 2-3 minutes. I know this because it woke me up. Dudes, shades were drawn and all lights were off. Get the picture. They left a notice on our door that they were there to service a warranty issue on my husbands car. Later in the morning, I called them, talked to one of the guys, discussed the issue and told them that I was going to take car to a local Honda dealer to address the issue, which I was already aware of. Everyone seemed happy with that conversation and the issue felt resolved. However, a week or so later, they came back. Again, unannounced. I was under the weather and was literally on the phone with my doctor when these guys showed up. They banged on the door, rang our doorbell, yelled, I know youre in there! for - again, Im not kidding or exaggerating - probably five minutes. Again, I was on the phone with my doctor, sick, and couldnt come to the door. I called them back when I could and they were still parked outside of my house and demanded I come to the door so they could fix the issue. I reminded them that I had already discussed it with them and told them that I would handle it in my own time. Since we work very unusual hours in our house, we need our car ready to go and dont often have time for work to be done on it. These guys said they had driven up from the Bay and they absolutely had to take care of it. They were unbelievably belligerent and rude to my face and wouldnt leave until I gave them the keys to the car. They did not apologize but instead did their best to make excuses. I wish I remembered their names so I could call them out personally, but I dont. I tried to look up the employee list on their website but it was nowhere to be found. I would have preferred call the branch and address it over the phone. Like I said, I have never been to the Walnut Creek branch, but I have had interactions with two of their employees and they were so very, very terrible. Clearly did not care about their customers whatsoever and tried to make me feel like I was somehow putting them out. Just awful. Highly recommend you go to another Honda dealership.

I contacted the dealer to bring the price down on a car that had been on the lot(and other lots) outside for 2 years, a 2019 suv. They said that would bring the price down to $23,000 from $26,000. I agreed. Then they stated they would charge me for features that were already in the car. Extremely dishonest sales department. Thoroughly disappointed. Do not deal with shady business tactics. I would not recommend this dealer.

I bought a used car from them, it looked nice but they haven’t done anything on the the car, looks like they just change the oil only. Car is giving me issues with engine (oil burning) and steering wheel started shivering as I drove above 60mph. So embarrassing. Not a good experience with Walnut Creek Honda. They don’t give any Better warranties . Not interested to do business with them again.

I spent most of 4th of July weekend trying to purchase a Honda vehicle. I went to two other local Honda dealers before making my way to Walnut Creek Honda. I wish I had skipped over the first two and just went here.The process from start to finish was smooth sailing. I requested an e-quote from the Internet Manager (Dave) who immediately directed me to the on-site Sales Manager (John) who was ready to greet me once I arrived. He then immediately directed me to the Sales Specialist (Zack) who was able to answer all our questions and made us feel comfortable. We finalized the deal with the Finance Manager (Basilio) who was transparent in presenting our options. Also, the receptionist and another worker at different times asked if we needed refreshments while we were waiting. Just a polite and professional team all around. They arent a giant, fancy, big name dealer and thats a compliment. Did I mention we had kids in tow the entire time?If youre in the search for a Honda vehicle, look no further than Walnut Creek Honda. They will be my go-to from here on out.

I took my car with only 5k miles to have checked for a rattling noise from the driver side vent and a noise from the front suspension and nothing was found or so they said.As soon as I drove off the shop, I could hear the noises mentioned. ALSO, my car a a ding on the wheel arch!!!! NOT HAPPY WITH IT, as soon as I drove in a person in charge of moving the cars, opened a car’s door that was parked next to mine and hit my car with it causing a tiny damage on my door handle.I WILL NEVER COME TO THAT PLACE IN MY LIFE.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR YHERE.

Walnut Creek Honda goes above and beyond for their clients. If youre looking to buy a Honda in the east bay/bay area in general, dont waste your time at any other dealership. I went to several (avoid Concord Honda at all costs) and kept getting the 1950s sales tactics thrown at me left and right. Half a year from my first visit, its my 3rd service at Walnut Creek Honda. Always top-of-the-line service, awesome quality and swift turnaround. This time I experienced free ride service and it was AWESOME!I came in early this morning on a weekday for walk-in service without reservation, though a line of cars waiting in a queue, they quickly accommodated everyone and arranged free rides to customers who dont wanna wait. People take it for work or directly go home, chill and come back when their cars are done. In addition to that, the chauffeur driver was nice and patient enough to pick me up in front of my doorstep when my car was done. We had a nice conversation along the way (I was the only passenger!).By the way, the cookies are awesome today! Thanks very much Walnut Creek Honda and your awesome team! See you in another 4k miles. When you get there you’ll meet some gentleman, nice and polite professional team but you not gonna go to a car dealer to meet people. Of course you are there for a deal and a good offer. So the option that you gonna gets from them is super expensive and weird. I had an offer $477 monthly for a Honda CR V ELX. and I thought that’s too high for Honda. Went there to get their offer and unbelievable they gave me $1019.00 mo. Nothing to say just said have a great night and left there forever, while still some gentleman were there were saying Sorry!

I decided to buy a new 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Shopped around the entire bay area looking for the best deal. David, the Internet Manager, was awesome! He was very responsive to my email, and he gave me the best price in the entire Bay Area. The transaction was smooth, and the customer service is great. I am really not too sure why I even wasted my time coming here, Knowing damn well every time I do it doesnt work out very well. Well technically I do know why, because I had an appointment at 11 a.m. and my appointment was not very far from Walnut Creek Honda so I figured it would be efficient and smart to go to this location to pick up screws. However I was extremely wrong. The service advisor, correction the parts advisor advise me of the wrong screws to purchase I legit showed him a picture of the bottom of my vehicle and what screw I needed he brought out two screws and neither of the screws were the ones that I needed. He then proceeded to tell me that it is the screws that I need as if I am just some girl who has no idea of what she is talking about, I informed him that it wasnt, and took myself over to Concord Honda who helped me tremendously, I was able to get the right screw oh, and I was in and out a lot quicker then the time that I spent at Walnut Creek Honda, if you are debating between the two and you think Walnut Creek is going to be better because it is in Walnut Creek youre mistaken, and should just go to Concord Honda.

I just bought my second car at WC Honda. The buying process was once again so seamless that I didnt feel nervous or stressed out about buying. The Sales Manager John D and Finance Manager Jeff H made it painless for me. As an added bonus, they gave me a screaming deal on a brand new car. They were super patient while I bounced back and forth between a Civic Hatchback and an Accord (both are super nice and I couldnt decide). Thanks to their help, I felt like I made a fully informed decision before I made my choice. My sales rep Dipendra was also super helpful. Buying a car can be a stressful experience but our experience this week was anything but. Our salesperson Dario was personable, professionable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He was solicitous and respectful of our time - he listened to our needs & gave us what we needed to know without dragging the experience out. We have bought 3 cars at WC Honda - this was our fourth & we have always felt well treated - we trust them. Jeff, the finance guy presented us with all the options but did not pressure us in any way. He was efficient and pleasant and made the experience go smoothly. The price was very fair, the service was wonderful and we are very happy Honda owners!

I get my oil changed here all the time on my 2014 Honda Civic. Not once have they told me I need some random repairs. The staff always asks if I would like to change the air filter or some other thing I can do myself, and when I say no thank you, they leave it alone. They are not pushy in the slightest. They even honored my oil change coupon when I forgot to bring it. Walnut Creek Honda is far superior to Concord Honda. I wouldnt waste your time going to Concord honda

Mark was very honest and friendly, and is very passionate and knowledgable about cars. Had a great test drive, was given a few snacks and water while talking over the deal and I left with a new car that I love and a fresh tank of gas. They have very high quality, low mileage cars on their lot and I would recommend anyone to come take a look here as they were great to work with.

Overall the experience was amazing. The friendly staff, and realisticness of everyone is why I went back. There weren’t looking to play games, they were very straight forward. I have had experiences where I have been talked down to at dealerships. Which makes me turn around and walk away immediately.I stopped by in December with a friend, as they were looking at a car. I was not there for me. It just so happens that I had a 2013 Civic that I was thinking about trading in. I came in a month later, was greeted with the same friendliness as the first time and was very pleased. In turn, I ended up walking out with a new civic SI in no time. Keep it up guys.
