Started off really good. Then they changed service technicians..horrible replacement that smelled like an ashtray...but despite that, I still wanted to give them another try. I recently called them a few times, no answer. Oh well...

We used them on two large commercial projects for Target last year, and man did they work their butts off. The staff was very professional and I personally spoke to Jerry on many occasions during the projects. He was always professional, and was very patient with us. We received estimates from about ten companies, and while Jerry’s wasn’t the cheapest. The constant updates on the permits and the willingness to always answer my questions to the best of their ability made up for it. It really is hard to find companies like this. I am the kind of person that only cares about the project getting done right the first time, and I can personally say that it was. I will always contact them first when doing projects within Maryland.

I called to have my washer valves replaced (non-emergency) and they showed up within 2 hours and fixed my problem in less than an hour. Highly recommend Jerry and his team.

Called for a leak with ac unit a month ago, tech fixed the leak but broke the ac unit. My ac Unit no longer pumps out cold air. Tech has come several times but can’t seem to fix the issue. No one answers the phone it’s very hot! I’m am 7 months pregnant with a toddler. I have paid over 2,000 (almost the cost of a new unit) still to have reoccurring ac issues. Small claims court and Better business bureau it is . Smh

Years ago we found Jerry through a referral for the installation of our gas fire pit. Jerry made such an impression, I had to find him for the replacement of our 20-year old hot water heater. While installing the water heater, Jerry observed our 20 year old sump pump was slowly pumping the water, Jerry appropriately recommended we replace the sump pump. Jerry did not pressure us and met our objective to proactively deal with future issues. Jerry makes recommendations from an honest perspective and is very fair. Steve was fantastic. I called toady and they were out today, service like that in this area is highly unusual. I had three issues caused by general contractors I had used in the past and Steve was able to take care of them all. My hot water heater is working like it should, my toilet is actually installed correctly and my wife can take the hot shower she has wanted to for a long time. We had a leak in our line coming into the house from our well, and it showed up two days before Christmas. Jerry was out to the house that day to take a look, found the problem, came out on Christmas eve with his excavator to find the pipe and fix the leak, and THEN came out on Christmas day to fill the hole in. Jerry and his team were extremely professional and willing to go out of their way to get our problem solved as fast as possible. Their rates are very competitive. I bought a new refrigerator and learned that I needed to change the plastic water line to the ice maker. The installer said the company will only connect to copper lines. I don’t recall the reason. Even the manual describes using a copper line. Anyway, no worries. I called Jerry’s and was lucky enough to get same day service. I use them a lot. This time Jordan was my technician. Jordan was personable and professional. He did an excellent job installing and connecting the line to my refrigerator, cleaned up his work area and took the time to remind me to flush the line and toss out the first three batches of ice. A job well done!

My hot water heater was constantly running water to my drain pain. I called two plumbing services and then I called Jerrys. It was 9:30 and Jerry scheduled me between 11AM and 3PM. I received a call back in two minutes and they told me the tech is on his way. Wow! The tech came in and was very professional and knowledgeable. He even advised me about my sump pump and injector pump. He did an awesome job within an hour. Great job!

We used Adam to service out AC unit during the summer when it was blazing hot outside. He was very professional and did an excellent job at cleaning my unit. They actually did a better job then United Temp air who came out the previous year to service my unit and said everything looked fine when it wasnt. I had the tech come in a service my heating unit a few weeks ago and he said everything looks good and gave me some recommendations. Will have the humidifier installed next and will post a review when it is complete. Highly recommend them.

No one answers the phone or calls you back liked promised. Warranty company called them and they answered but I called 2 minutes later after the warranty company and no answer. Warranty promised that Stephanie would return my call but havent heard anything from them and its been more than a week, with several calls placed by myself. Would not recommend

I am very disappointed by the service I received from Jerrys Plumbing in Waldorf. My warranty company assigned them to me last week for a leaking water heater on the second level of my home. The appointment was scheduled Thursday for service on the following Monday. I mopped water all weekend and left work early Monday to meet the technician. The technician replaced a valve and left after telling me I need an expansion tank ($325). Soon after he left, the water heater was leaking again. I called Jerrys on Tuesday from home due to the fact I didnt go to work because I was up all night watching the water. The office person told me I had to call the warranty company to obtain another work order. I did make the call and the office person scheduled another appointment for Tuesday morning. The technician came and adjusted the thermostat, then left. I left home shortly after that and returned to find more water leaking from the water heater. I called the warranty company obtained another work order; however this time the office person was not so nice. I was then quoted all the regulations on how soon they reschedule an appointment. The office personnel would not allow me to talk to Jerry or the technician. I got fed up and asked the warranty company to intervene. This experience has been a nightmare that I hope will end soon with the new plumbing company. The warranty company informed me the technician changed his diagnosis to the expansion tank; instead of the water heater replacement that my receipt said. The technician also recalled the email that contained the replacement diagnosis but they didnt know my smart phone saved the receipt as an attachment.Shame on you Jerry. When I dealt with you personally in 2013, I found you to be competent and trustworthy. Its sad what either growth and/or warranty business has done to you. I have referred you to my friends and contracted you to work in our community. This isnt Angie’s list quality service.

We called Jerrys Plumbing after 10pm because we had a sewage backup. Jerrys was very responsive and came out to our house and fixed our issue. The tech Sean was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend their service to anyone who has a need for a plumber.

Call this company to inspect the plumbing of a kitchen sink that was installed a couple of years ago without a permit. I need it to be inspected for it to pass county inspection. The plumbing was connected to the laundry area that was directly behind it, and had easy work access. Jerry quoted me $1200.00 just to cut open the small area so the inspector could see the work, and also send a tech to be here when the inspector arrives. What a reap off!!

Buyer Beware!!! Very shocked and disappointed at this company for sending such trash to ny home. First and Last time I use this place. Called to get a clogged dishwasher checked. They sent me a text message with some guy who was coming and his life history and someone completely different shows up and starts diagnosing the issue before even checking anything. Says it is a clogged drain and it will be $300. Kept running out to his truck… Took about 15 minutes and then told me that he cleaned the drain and the dishwasher is not coming on. THis is fine if I need a new dishwasher; however I got charged for a cleared drain and after he left… (My bad for checking after the fact) I checked the dishwasher and all the water was still sitting in there. So… I got charged for a drain clearing which never happened.

They came in to my building with great people and ready to work and do whatever they had to do to get the job done. It was a good size job and they completed it in a very professional manner and a timely manner. Doug Knight was the supervisor on the job to work and also over see all work completed. Had an issue with my kitchen sink clogged the day after Thanksgiving. Technician Doug from Jerrys Plumbing came out pretty quickly after I called. He was very knowledgeable and understanding of our problem. Communicated everything before he actually did it, and looked for cheaper alternatives first to help us out before other avenues. My experience with Jerrys was outstanding from the first call until they were leaving my daughters house at 10:15pm. My daughter lost water due to a faulty pump in her well on Friday night. After dealing with her warranty company for three days and could not find a plumber that deals with wells on their list, we were finally told to contact a local plumber that deals with wells. I called Jerrys and was told they could help and that my window would be from 10am until 2pm for service, but someone would e be there around 10:30am. At 10:30am Tommy and his helper showed up and assessed that the pump was bad as well as the pressure tank and that both would need to be replaced. I then had to call the warranty company to place the claim which took some time. I was able to call Jerrys back after 12:30pm thinking it would get serviced the following day, but I was told that they would be out that evening after 6pm to fix all of it. A crew showed up (including Jerry the owner) to replace the pump and the tank. They were all very courteous and professional. My daughter and I will definitely choose them again. Also Christy in the office was so helpful and friendly.

I called this company requesting an estimate for installing a cycle stop valve. During and after some initial confusion with the front office, the ladies were very professional and scheduled someone to come within the next day or so. The field manger came out to consult with me. The reason for the sub par review is that the manager, to me, did not provide an honest assessment of the problem or an honest estimate. The plumber had a lack of understanding with regards to the product he was being asked to install, and was not able to assess the homeowners understanding of a well system, in order to properly explain a solution to what the homeowner was asking for. Now, I dont expect a plumber to know about every single tool, device, or product used within the plumbing industry. What I do expect, is a plumber to acknowledge a lack understanding or knowledge of a tool or subject if ever confronted, or at least refer the question to someone in the company more experienced, or simply decline the service as it may not be within scope. Not only did this plumber belittle the device (due to lack of knowledge) calling it a gimmick, he quoted a job which took me, a DIYer, less than an hour and a half, 800 dollars. The job included draining out four feet of pipe and pressure tank, Checking the pressure tank PSI level, cutting a 1 pvc, 1/2 foot section out, and installing the product. At most, 2 hours of work, 1 year warranty applied even, an 800 dollar quote was rather absurd.I will post a link of the product review that I wrote that aligns with this review, as well as my results thus far.While its unfortunate that a this company is receiving a review such as this, my hope is that the company use this as a learning experience and adjust their goals to provide a more positive and profitable outcome in situations such as this.Outside of the plumbers knowledge and handling of the situation, he was respectful. This and the front offices professionalism would not allow me to give less than a 2 stars, and I thank you for that.

Called this company this morning. Had an appointment for 3pm. Not a window from 3pm to 6pm. The appointment was for 3 pm. I kept calling asking when will the plumber be at my home. He is finishing up his last call. They never called me, I had to call them several times. Finally he came at 623 pm. I left the house by that time. Can you come back so he can fix the leak. No I will take my money elsewhere.

Another person here who typically would not write a review, but I feel compelled to do so. Last week we had a complete shutdown of water to our house due to a well pump issue. Since we are in the process of selling our home, it was imperative that we fix this problem immediately. We contacted the HSA Warranty folks who referred the call to Jerrys Plumbing and Heating, and we quickly found out that the well pump was not covered. Since we had already had someone from Jerrys here to assess the situation we stuck with them for the repair. While waiting for the service, I was doing some research online and was a bit concerned because there were several very negative reviews for this company. My experience with Jerrys was top notch! When the technician, Doug, arrived around 4:30 pm, he immediately began work on the system. Within an hour several other employees showed up to help Doug with the issue. The entire time, I was in the house and was not disturbed. The employees worked until the entire job was done which was around 8:30 pm at night. The new system was installed and our water was back running! The employees cleaned up behind themselves! I want to thank Doug and the rest of the employees who showed up to help! Great job!

I called Jerry on Friday night after discovering my water heater had started leaking water. They were the only plumber listed as open!! Jerry answered and began to talk me thru what the cause could be. After thoroughly explaining what I had some knowledge of I knew he was the guy.He came out early Saturday, diagnosed the issue and work diligently with a local shop to get the part I needed before they closed. He didnt try to force me into an total replacement but we talked about what needed to be replaced which was substantially less than a new heater.He helped me locate a part outside of the shop and we scheduled the repair/replace for Monday. His staff was in constant contact with me informing me of the installers status prior to his arrival. Everyone was TERRIFFIC!!!Steven, the installer, arrived and was absolutely professional, communicated clearly and answered all my questions. He explained what he was replacing and was very patient with me as I asked a lot of questions, LOLI would definitely use Jerrys Plumbing again, any other company I had in my contacts is deleted. Jerry was very nice, his office staff was polite and Steven was professional. I called Jerrys Plumbing due to my A/C not working. And Jerrys sent a tech out within an hour. My hvac system was very old and the tech explained to me everything he could do to get it up and running then explained to me the benefits of replacing with a new energy efficient unit. After a detailed estimate I decided to get a new unit and they went and got it that same day and installed so I had cool air by the evening. Great service I will call them for all my plumbing and hvac needs.

I called Jerrys plumbing to fix an issue with my well pump. Tom came out the same day and assessed my problem. He was very professional about answering all my questions. He gave me a detailed synopsis of the problem and recommended that I replace the well pump and tank. Doug and Tom came out the next day and wasted no time getting to work. They worked together efficiently to replace the pump. When they pulled out the old well pump, Tom showed me how the old pump had failed. They completed their work in less than 4hrs.Id recommend this company to anyone and would use them again.

I called on a whim, and really didnt know what to expect, but from the lady that answered the phone, and answered every question that I had. Fast service. I called Jerrys with a furnace problem and was able to get a appointment and fix within 4hrs. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. In this case it was worth it not to be cheap.

Will rip off women every chance they get, I am a contractor by trade and was leaving town when my toilet broke, unable to fix it due to a flight I had to take, I left my wife to call a local service company. She called Jerrys Plumbing and Heating and they sent a service guy to fix the problem and quoted my wife $200??? WTF!!! We all know a NEW toilet coast around that price range, the actual piece only coast $10 and I understand they want to make a little money for labor but to lie to my wife and say that the part alone would coast $200 is in sane. Beware of this rip-offs and avoid them at all coast.

Terrible service. They didnt fix things they broke them, on two separate systems, my heat pump and water heater. I thought I was just having bad luck, but the other service provider I ended up hiring said when Jerrys does work it gives them job security - because they get hired to fix what Jerrys breaks. I was subjected to Jerrys service because I have a home service contract with American Home Shield. After the heat pump failed for the 4th time following Jerrys work I pleaded with AHS to send somebody else but they wouldnt, so I decided to pay out of pocket for better service. I am extremely dissatisfied with their work and will never consider them for any job.

I called this company for leak base of toilet they came out determined flange broken which is about 40.00 in parts including wax ring. There was 135.00 service call ok thats fine and fair right now how about when he tells this repair will be a additional 950.00 dollars, if you can guess they did not get the job i hired another plumbing company who did the repair for 250.00 including parts and service call. I guess if you have money to throw down the toilet call jerrys plumbing.

Great job fixing my toilet!

I placed a call with them because I had a drip from the faucet in the tub. A minor drip turned into over a $500 repair job. The repair person broke the knob completely off and now the cold water does not even turn on. It was relayed to me that I broke the knob. The manager would not return my calls, and the person answering the phone was rude. This place is a rip-off--Poor business ethics. STAY AWAY

I will not recommend Jerry plumming and heating to anybody. Poor customer service. Unknowable technicians. They have no way of trouble shooting for route cause proble. They good at changing parts to see if it is going to fix the problem one step at a time. They work very messy and dirty . Their repaire cost too high I have used them 6 times in 2013 for same A/C unit through my Choice home warranty Co. problem was no fixed. This is why CHW is using Jerrys pluming because they cheap to hire through these so called home protection plan. DO NOT USE JERRYS PLUMING THEY WILL NOT FIX PROBLEM YOU WILL END UP DUMPING TONS OF MONEY FOR NOTHING.
