Avoid this place! They are not able to perform procedures onsite if they are too difficult (ie. root canal in back of mouth), and only pull teeth on certain days every other week when their specialist is in. Not a good place for emergencies. My daughter needed her canines pulled and had a lot of anxiety about it and couldnt calm down. They dont know how to deal with it and dont even have gas as an option. What kind of dentist does not have that option? Dentist anxieties are real and they need to be able to handle them. They can only handle the perfect patient that doesnt require much besides numbing. Since they couldnt handle it, they referred us to someone that can. So, they basically just referred us to our new primary dentist. No more wasted money to Dental Works!

Really thought this was going to be a good place to start getting dental work done. Was told to come in 30 minutes early so I could have my teeth cleaned. Stayed here an hour and nothing was done. Very poor communication and customer service. Will not be coming back. Professional customer service is very important for me. This place lacks it.

I’m not the type of person to leave bad reviews. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt. However I have been extremely surprised by the lack of professionalism within the office. When onboarding me as a new patient, the office assured me that they took my insurance. When I received my bill for very simple work, it was over $500, so I requested that they review my account. I was told the insurance wasn’t filed properly, and that they were refiling it. After that, I called several times to check in and see that the insurance was filed correctly. Each time I was told that everything would be taken care of, but I don’t think anything was ever followed up on. When I followed up with my insurance myself I realized this office does not accept my insurance. I totally understand that this is partially on me, but I would hope that the office staff is knowledgeable enough to know if my insurance is or isn’t accepted. And if they’re uncertain, the least they could have done is let me know.

I recently moved into the area and was looking for a new Dentist. What I found was simply the best dentist experience I have ever had. All of the staff were extremely friendly and the services that I received was exemplary.

Friendly Staff, Registered Dental Hygienist, Jalya Burse was very gentle on my sensitivity during my cleaning and Dr Kim gave suggestions on how to better my sensitivity. So far so good with all of my visits.

Very professional, courteous office staff. The dental hygienist Jayla Burse performed my cleaning and she did an outstanding job. She is very professional and knowledgeable.

Dentalworks had an issue with insurance reimbursement for my husband, Jason, and their staff assured us that they would take care of it. Instead, despite the fact we followed up with them, at minimum, 3 times, including showing up at the office with the insurance card and consistently being told that we shouldnt worry about it, we just found out they sent the balance to collections which can potentially hurt our credit history. Now were back to the drawing board as we try to figure out why the insurance payment didnt go through in the first place when it may be too late to even figure this issue out or were stuck paying the $500+ simply because Dentalworks didnt handle our claim properly. I recommend you consider other dental offices.

This was my first visit to this location and Jaiya was AWESOME! The staff was very welcoming; got me in and taken care of in no time.

The staff is courteous and professional. However, there appears to be a high turnover rate and they seem chronically understaffed.The equipment is sorely outdated and the facility itself is a dump. I assume (hope) its clean but cant be sure due to faded and peeling paint. Definitely due for a makeover.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I was seen and able to arrange for procedures I need done in a timely manner. Office was clean and all COVID safety measures were being taken.

Was not the best. Waited 45 mins, was there for a total of over 2 hours, overall the staff was nice, but I’ve never felt such pain with just “counting numbers related to bone” and was poked in the gums every single time a count was done. I was also told by a staff member that she “did not wear masks out in public, only at work” and “just maintained social distance” but it still puts me at risk being a patient. I would not say this place is very professional. I was also charged $10 which I will never get back, it’s “only credited to my account” which I choose to not be a patient there anymore.

I would not recommend this place, very unprofessional. They over charged me for services and it has been months and I have not received my refund, They told that they were going to cut me a check for an overpayment. Every time I call back it has been a different story regarding my refund from the office manager. My card was charged for all of my service before the work was complete. The young man at the desk charged extra on my card and refused to take it off. The office manager covered and made excuses about everything. I will never ever step foot in that place, not recommend anyone to go there. I am not saying everyone there is the same, but the atmosphere is not good.

My experience today at Dental Works as a new patient was good. I hadn’t visited a dentist office in years and scheduled an appointment for a dental emergency. Not only did they get me scheduled on the same day, but they also extracted the tooth that was bothering me and helped me get back on track just prior to closing. The front desk staff were friendly and supportive and the dental hygienist and dentist were professional and easy to interact with. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a dentist.

Literally the best experience Ive ever had at a dentist office. Mary is AWESOME. She does a great job making you feel relaxed and comfortable and is super nice and funny. All of the staff is bubbly and happy to help. Christie Helped us at the front desk today and was absolutely a joy to be around. I will continue to get my teeth cleaned here for as long as they let me. Thanks Guys for loving your jobs, it definitely shows!

This place is a nightmare. Waited in the lobby for 1 hour while people who walked in after me were seen. Then after doing the exam, they refused to do a basic cleaning and insisted that I needed to spend $500 to have cavities filled and have more extensive periodontal work done, non of which insurance would cover. Just wanted a cleaning for now, which insurance does cover, but they refused. The manager Christy Jones was quite rude as well. And to be honest, they really dont have that much modern equipment. Pretty basic place. Waste of time.

After my appointment was canceled indefinitely. I called to get an appointment. When I get the call confirming the appointment, the person says “did they tell you about wearing a mask and our $10 PPE fee”, I said “no, I know to where a mask but what is a PPE fee”? She stated it’s to cover the extra costs they’ve incurred for supplies!!! That’s why I have dental insurance. There’s no way I’m paying $5, let alone $10 for a visit that is covered 100%!

I made an appointment on February 19th at 8am because I needed a fill in. My back tooth was killing me! I was a new patient and told them my situation over the phone before I scheduled the appointment and i was assured it would be taking care of but when I got there all they wanted to do was a cleaning and said they did not have time to do the fill in and to reschedule in a week or two. That was disappointing! I ended up going somewhere else that same day and getting the fill in done. I paid the out of network cost but I didnt care because it was worth it! Im so glad the other dentist was able to squeeze me in last minute. My tooth feels amazing!!

Everyone here is always super helpful. The receptionists are my particular favorite (Gabriel and Kristy) but the whole practice is a pleasure to deal with. The environment is clean, the staff is efficient and friendly, and I can always get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe. Highly recommend.

Terrible experience. When making my appointment I specifically asked for a pediatric dentist to fix cavities as well to verify that my insurance was accepted . I arrived 15 minutes early, I was not on the schedule and waited 40 minutes before I was seen. I told the receptionist 3 times who was my provider yet she called the wrong one anyway. No X-rays, cleaning or safety equipment where used (glasses) and tech who was a temp spent a total of 3 minutes before she called the doctor. The doctor confirmed my thoughts that I needed to go elsewhere. I was highly upset and my child was so patient. I had pumped her so she wouldn’t be terrified of the dentist only for this to happen. Furthermore they wanted to charge for a cleaning and my child still had plaque and food from breakfast. I showed the receptionist her teeth and she agreed. I will never set foot in the place ever again. This is most unprofessional place I have ever been to. Please don’t waste your time.

The visit was good, friendly and professional staff. I would like them to ask how youre doing, or are you ok, while performing procedures, not once was l asked that during my cleaning, she did a great job cleaning my teeth, but just to the staff, l think that would be helpful at least for me. To be in a dentist office surrounded by people who smile and make you laugh and smile back is always a warm welcome. You feel like family because they are always kind and sharing. I had a lower front tooth break off only to see there was a cavity. I contacted DW and they called me on Friday and made me an appt for the following Monday at 8:00a.m. I got in on time and they were able to fill the tooth on the same day. I was very happy. :)

I like the gall at the front desk. She answered the phone and talked to her when I got there. She is amazing, and friendly. The hygienist I had truble communicating with. But when i talked to Dr. Kim we figured out a plan to make things work for me. Over all i like them .

My tech was AMAZING! Was not a fan of my dentist. He had absolutely NO bedside manner. I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction, however he did not pull it, he stated I had to get all this extensive dental work done on other teeth. He said he could remove it in a week and a half, (( ummm I do not want endocarditis even though he did give me antibiotics...)). I got a second opinion, they took my tooth out RIGHT away, they told me I did NOT need all this work done, some yes, but not all. I highly recommend you going to renaissance family dentistry. They seriously make time for you, the dentist actually looks at your teeth, talks to you about your eating habits, beverage habits(juice, coffee) and they care. I was not scared! He had pictures and diagrams. They are amazing and are there EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!

I highly recommend this office. Every aspect of the visit was great. All members of the staff were friendly and informative. I have to give a shout out to Sarah, MJ (thank you for squeezing me in for the on-lay), Dr. Lembree, and of course, the one young lady whos name escapes me, you were all great. See you in March.

The cleaning went well. But the hygienist never introduced herself, never smiled, and seemed detached the entire visit. I left feeling sorry for her. The visit did go well. Seems that this hygienist was really stressed.

Worst experience here! Please go elsewhere! Im an Active Duty Army Recruiter and was treated horribly at this place. I waited 45 minutes after my appointment because they wanted to ensure my insurance covered a simple yearly cleaning. Once I got up to leave, because I couldnt wait any longer, they insisted on keeping my file documents! Why?! I was told by them they see a lot of Soldiers so my questions is why did they take so long just to verify my insurance coverage if they see so many Soldiers? They also told me they could only do an exam that day and no cleaning because they had other patients, which meant I had to come back at a later date! I went to Riccobene the next day and I was in and out! If you are in the Armed Forces, please avoid this place like the plague! They are NOT military friendly.

I have been seen at this office since they first opened. My dental hygentist is awesome in cleaning my teeth 3 to 4 times a year and the dentist who has been seeing me since almost the beginning has been awesome in making sure I keep all my teeth and my mouth is healthy. If I have problems, they are always taken care within the timeframe they need to be. But I also clean my teeth when I am not at the dentist so it is a group effort. It has been a great experience all the way around and I would recommend them to anyone.

Worst dental experience Ive ever had! Theyre lucky Im giving them 1 star but its only because their office manager and one of the hygienists were the only pleasant people there. Those two were really nice and tried their best to help you! However, their oral surgeon, Dr. French, was rude and he acted like a complete know-it-all. Every time I opened my mouth about MY medical history and info he had to correct something and tell me I was wrong about certain medications and basically made me feel small about MY OWN medical information. He spoke really fast so I couldnt understand him and he rushed through my appointment. The hygienist I had during my first visit was so nice and pleasant and very helpful, the hygienist my second visit was very rude and did not value my time at all! She had an accent so she was hard to understand and she didnt like repeating herself. When I called and asked for an estimate on how long the appointment would take they said it would take about 20 minutes since I was their first appointment at 8am... I was there till 9:30am because they lost my paperwork and the hygienist told the assistant to let me sit in the room for a while AFTER Dr. French had seen me. My husband and I have also had the WORST time with them with our billing and insurance. They gave us an estimated price on my third molar extraction the first time I was there and the second time I came back it went up by $1000! How does that happen?! They were kind of lazy and didnt seem to care. They left me on hold for 10 minutes and just gave me all around bad service! I would definitely NOT recommend going here unless you want your money taken (because they make you come back for multiple unnecessary visits that can be done all in one visit), bad service, and rude staff.

This was the fastest cleaning I have experienced. The hygienist seemed to be in a hurry to get done. She never asked the dentist to come in and look at my teeth.

Went for the first time today. Dominique has been so friendly and professional right from the start. Laura did my teeth cleaning. Shes awesome too! No issues at all, everything went great. Definitely going back. Make sure you brush and floss every day and use an electric toothbrush. It pays off taking care of your teeth! Go see them!

Everyone was very nice but my new patient exam took 3 hours! Most of that was waiting around. I showed up 15 minutes prior to my appt to fill out paperwork and was called back over 30 minutes past my appt time. More waiting. Xrays. More waiting. Finally see the dentist. More waiting and waiting. Finally get my assessment and get to leave.

I use to hate going to dentist for so many years until I came across this place. They are very friendly especially Sarah my hygienist. She took care of my teeth with her gentle touch made me comfortable. I even had my whole family coming her for their service. They will also let you know how much you will owe before the procedure start so you can decide. I believe they accept all medical insurances. I only wish they provide free coffee and cookies like other Orthodontic places do.

I have never been to any dentist where caring for the patient starts when you enter the front door, except Dentalworks in Wake Forest. They take time to listen to you, make sure you are comfortable and put your mind at ease. They really care about you as a person not a number.

So friendly can fun to be around. I have extreme anxiety and they let me wear my ear buds during the extraction. I drive from Raleigh to Wake Forest because if their amazing care!

The dentist barely looked in my mouth after my cleaning but sure charged me for a complete exam. Their billing dept & practices seem a little questionable. As someone who has lived in 9 different states growing up and has seen many dentists, something was definitely off about this practice. They asked for my SS# several times- never had that happen before. And you can never get a live person to answer the phone.

I generally have a good experience here. I have been getting regular teeth cleanings and have had a wisdom tooth extraction in this office. The front desk is always nice. There have been several cleanings where I felt the flossing/ cleaning was way too painful and though the specific assistant that had been way too harsh with my cleaning was no longer with them today my new hygienist literally had me with tears in my eyes- like I was being flossed to the next century!!! I am someone who has taken great pride and care of my teeth and this was not a good cleaning experience for me. All in all good experience with nice people but there is opportunity with training to be more gentle with cleanings.

The doctor is wonderful but the staff it depends on the person. The lack of communication on billing topics is bad. I used to enjoy the people there and their services. I even encourage my kids and spouse to go there. Since then we have had not so good experiences. Even when Referred to other doctors for additional work, those Doctors were not quality either. When you go in for a cleaning that is supposed to be covered by your insurance and then go to leave and are given a bill for 60 plus dollars there something wrong. I wouldnt recommend them.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Worst experience EVER! I was on vacation in Florida, just as I got there I started a tooth infection. I called on Saturday morning and left a message. No response. I called again on Monday and left a message, no response. I called again on Tuesday and finally spoke with someone. I explained that I had been through this in the past (This is my primary dentist) and that I needed a prescription of an anti-biotic called in to my local location. My face was somewhat swollen, I had been using Ibuprofen for the swelling. Ice, Tylenol & Orajel for the pain.It was like they didnt know me, they had to ask me my name 3 times and additional info to even find me in their system. They had to consult with the DR. so they asked if they could call me back in a few minutes. 2 Hours later I called back and had to leave another message. An hour after that they called me back. They had all gone to lunch! Talk about not caring for a patient in pain... I was told that they could not call in a prescription for an anti-biotic that they needed my medical history, but they would be happy to schedule me for a checkup to see what was happening when I got back. What!?! They have my medical history & Im in pain is what was happening.My medical history is in my chart (Im not even sure they found it) Its not like I was asking for pain killers. The anti-biotic would have taken care of the pain and the DR. cant do anything until the infection is gone but they would be happy to charge me for an office visit before prescribing anything. Behind their smiling faces, they just want their money.I had to go to a local urgent care ($150) for them to say Yep, you got an infection. Here is a prescription for Amoxicillin. Cost me .29 cents on my prescription plan. Thanks to DentalWorks for costing me a bunch and for prolonging my pain.Needless to say I have already found another dentist who has assured me that had he been my dentist he would have called in the prescription.I have a very VERY low opinion of DentalWorks. I can only hope that you do not have any kind of issue where you may need them and you are outside of normal office hours or outside of their local area.

Very poor customer service over the phone, so I will not be visiting this office. I called trying to get an estimate on what it would cost to have a cavity filled (w/o insurance), and was given a range of $137-305. When I asked if I could get a more specific price on a filling due to the type (which I already know), the employee said she did not know the answer and did not offer to find out. I told her I would simply find another office and she did not offer an additional help.

It was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. They r extremely professional and make sure you understand everything.

I had the worst experience with the dentist and dental surgeon at this location. Not only did I have to keep paying for visits that were because he messed up my extraction but they didn’t explain anything to me about aftercare. He came in, didn’t say a word, pulled my tooth, and walked out. My mouth hurt for two weeks after this and then a fragment of the pulled tooth finally came out of the socket! I would never recommend this location to anyone!! I also got bills from them that were incorrect! To top it all off now I need more work because of Dr. French’s crappy dental work on teeth around the actual extraction. This guy is absolutely terrible.

Your time is not important to them. I showed up early with forms filled out in hand and waited 30 minutes while patient after patient was taken back ahead of me. Lobby was dirty. When I asked what I had done wrong staff didnt apologize, but said she was still verifying my insurance? What? I heard you end that phone call 25 minutes earlier... Choose another dentist if you want your time and money respected.
